You can finally playtest Aurora Heights. Help Hoshi get back to sky!

Enjoy the beginning of the game: learn the basic controls, easy and hard precision platforming, unlock new areas, discover the first enemies and get your first skill!

Keep in mind that some parts of the game are rough. The UI and SFX are not finished, controller support is working but not 100% (yet). There are a lot of WIP and finished content not included on it (new skills, new enemies, map, collectibles, skins, time trials and other secrets).

The focus of the playtest is to fix major bugs and improve the game based on your feedback.

Screeps: Arena - artch

The long-awaited day has finally come — we’re thrilled to announce the Full Release of Screeps: Arena!

We’ve been working hard on the game over the past few months. Now we have:

  • a fully functional ranked mode with rating points earned throughout each season and real Finals (playoff matches) at the end;

  • an engaging and well-developed crafting, inventory and Fame rewards system with many items;

  • a convenient test mode for your code that lets you accumulate test opponents and run them all simultaneously;

  • quality-of-life features such as running series of matches in every mode and tracking their progress in background from any game screen;

  • a stable, polished client that is much better optimized now and runs snappier even on modest office PCs.

We’re ready for launch and hope you’ll enjoy the game!

Season 1 begins

We’re launching the first official Season 1. It features three completely new arenas with fresh and exciting gameplay challenges. Season 1 will last for three months — until February 1, 2026.

Season Beta Finals

Season Beta has ended. Of course, it didn’t attract a large number of players for obvious reasons, but we’ll still summarize the results, run the Finals matches, and and update this post with the outcomes very soon. Stay tuned!

Changes in version 1.0.0
  • The default badge can no longer be repainted freely in Preferences. To change your badge or its color, you must always use the crafting system with paints.

  • We’ve implemented the Steam Achievements system. However, it does not track your past progress — counters will start accumulating from today onward.

  • The [c]Flag[/c] prototype has been moved from the Capture the Flag arena API to the standard common API. A new property, [c]GameObject.controlledBy[/c], has been added to indicate the flag that controls a given object. It should be useful in all arenas in Season 1.

  • The construction system has been improved: if there are two [c]ConstructionSite[/c] objects on the same tile, you can only perform [c]build[/c] on the one with the highest construction progress. Executing [c]build[/c] on another [c]ConstructionSite[/c] on that tile will now return [c]ERR_FULL[/c]. Also, creeps can now also attack and destroy [c]ConstructionSite[/c] objects.

  • Added new standard property [c]GameObject.effects[/c]. It is now used in the Construct and Control arena, but can be used later in others.

  • Deprecated [c]RoomObject[/c] prototype was removed. Use [c]GameObject[/c] instead.

What’s next?

We’re not stopping development here — far from it. We have big plans ahead.

The next update will introduce Trophies — special profile rewards for your seasonal achievements (unlike Steam Achievements that are are not linked to seasons).

After that, we’ll work on Decorations — new types of visual effects to distinguish your creeps from opponents’ ones, crafted with paints in a way similar to Badges.

Then we plan to begin development of custom user-created arenas, and of course, prepare new arenas for future seasons. Arenas from previous seasons won’t disappear forever — we’ll periodically bring them back with small tweaks.

Kadin the Soul Eater - Kedaku
Well this is a first time I try a holiday event of sorts. It may not be as grand as big time games, but hope it still fun thing to do. Anyway. For the Thanksgiving month, I holding the Spirit Festival on Kadin the Soul Eater. Thank the spirits for bringing life and order to the world.

In the neighborhood you will find a guy with a setup going on. Just talk to him and you be on your way to the festival.


Once at the Festival, there is one guy managing an event. Just talk to him, and he will let you know what to do.


Other updates.

Beginning difficulty: I have hopefully fixed the issue with spontaneous difficulty. Such as the cow killing you at the start of the game. There was a feature that enemies could be one level higher than you. Well that was enough to make a problem, so I took that out.

New Game +: This is a function that will help make the Spirit Festival worth doing. But now when you finish a game, you will be granted New Game +. Allowing you to keep items and levels from one save, to a new game.

  • The performance of the procedural map generation has been improved 10-fold.

Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality - mbucchia

The "Preview" branch of Oasis contains Beta-quality changes and improvements. The Preview branch is intended for advanced users only, it might contain changes that are unstable or not fully documented.

RULES (READ CAREFULLY)

If you are not good at following instructions and reading directions, the Preview branch is not for you.

If you are looking for a stable experience above all, the Preview branch is not for you.

If you are unable to perform "beta tester" duties, such as reporting issues clearly, the Preview branch is not for you.

Be responsible.

If you decide to ignore all of the above, you will likely waste significant time for the developer and ultimately make him quit out of frustration. So please don't.

To opt-in the "preview" branch of Oasis, head to your Steam library, right click Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality, then Properties. Under Betas. select "preview". Make sure Steam downloads the new driver.

To opt-out, follow the same instructions, but select "None" instead.

CHANGELOG

  • Fixed an issue where motion controllers would not be detected at all by SteamVR. You must re-run the Unlock program to solve this issue (Unlock now deletes the motion controller cache).

  • Fixed motion controller inputs with Resonite (and potentially other games).

  • Fixed motion controller inputs with Roblox (must use "Emulate Oculus Touch Controller").

  • Fixed motion controller battery level indicator.

  • Added a setting to set 1.2V battery mode (to scale battery percentage for players using rechargeable batteries).

  • Added a setting to disable Windows button (on motion controller) or Windows key (on keyboard) from opening the SteamVR Dashboard. The Windows button/key can still be used once inside the Dashboard.

  • Fixed issue with MSFS2024 when using flat-screen (caused performance hiccups).

  • Fixed an issue with multiple user accounts on the same computer. Note that one user will have to re-do their playspace after downloading the update. Only the first user to start SteamVR after downloading the update will inherit the current playspace settings.

Gameplay & Balance

  • Slightly increased projectile speed for the "Magic Projectile" skill and reduced its Mana cost from 5 to 3.

  • The Bloodseeker Howl now not only buffs other Hyenas but also forwards the Bloodseeker's desired target to them, improving coordinated attacks.

  • In general, monsters that are being attacked from afar now share the attacker's location with other monsters within a certain radius, improving AI responsiveness.

General & Optimization

  • Implemented several improvements for localization based on our community's feedback—thanks a lot!

  • Further optimization measures were implemented to improve performance.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug where a player could receive fatal damage while being stunned, which prevented the death animation and left the character stuck permanently in the stun pose. This should now be prevented.

  • Fixed an issue where the staggering meter for the boss fight was not synchronized between the host and clients.
