We are very happy to announce that a new free major update for Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is available for everyone on all platforms from today. This new game update brings ever-shifting conflict to the 41st Millennium, a free new iconic Ork unit, and Domination game mode.
For those of you who want to know every detail of this new major update, a detailed changelog is available here. This document outlines all the changes made in the update, from major new features to minor bug fixes.
The Kustom Boosta-blasta is one of the deadliest rides in the Ork arsenal. Blisteringly fast and absurdly well-armed, it doesn’t just blow things, it can literally set enemies on fire just by speeding past them. Armed with a deadly turret-mounted Rivet Cannon, it’ll tear holes clean through infantry and light armour alike.
It’s everything a Speed Freek dreams of in a vehicle.
Available for free for all players who own the Ork Faction.

The first round will commence on Friday, 31st October 2025. No further entries can be accepted after the tournament has begun. The tournament will last 3 rounds, 11 days each. Games are paired, so each matchup will be played both ways. All you need to do is sign up, then the system will pair you with opponents and create your PBEM games. You will be notified by mail of when the tournament is starting and when it will be time to play your turns.

Hello!Today I'm announcing the release date for Deep Space Exploitation! Along with releasing the two trailers I've been working on and an update for the demo.

Release Date!
I'm aiming for the 6th of November 2025 (2 weeks from posting this), but in most of the marketing stuff I'll just be saying "November 2025" so that I can give myself some breathing room in case I want to spend a bit more time on anything or I find out my chosen date is a bad idea. Release will be on Itch and Steam at pretty much the same time. Oh yeah, I'm also looking at around 8.99 USD for the price, most likely with a 20% launch discount.

I ended up making two trailers, one which is all action, and one which gives more of a look at the story. I did this because I felt that the story elements were too slow for the main trailer, and that I had some good content (the intro cutscene) for the story trailer that people would like but is otherwise too slow to lead with in a traditional trailer (this is going with the advice that a trailer needs to lead with action in the first 5 seconds). So here they are:
Demo UpdateWith the release coming I'll be updating the demo to the latest version. The biggest change here will be that the demo will actually end after so many in-game days, instead of switching to randomly generated levels and being infinitely playable. The reason for this is so that I can keep the save files from the demo compatible with the full release version of the game, so you can finish the demo and then buy the full game and jump right back in (once it's released, that is).
What's Next?Right now I'll be contacting as many people as possible about the release, and posting about it wherever I can. For the next two weeks until release I'll be reacting to content creators, pushing the game some more, doing any last minute changes, and writing some tech dev logs. I've been looking forward to writing some dev logs about some aspects of the game like the engine and my approach to destructible asteroids, so these next few weeks should be quite fun for me.

Welcome to another unstable update that offers further improvements to structure block building, more structure platform variants, tweaks to structure block colours, as well as other quality of life improvements.

⚠️Please note: This update is on Steam beta branch ttw_unstable - Work-in-progress version and may be unstable in places.
In the run up to promoting the latest unstable update to the default version of TerraTech Worlds, we want to improve the quality of the build by finding and fixing as many bugs as possible and refining how the game is balanced.
To play the unstable:
Right click TerraTech Worlds in your Steam library, then select the "Properties" option from the drop down list.
Now select "Betas" and then select the "Beta Participation" drop down box.
Select the "ttw_unstable - work-in-progress version" from the drop down list.
Your game will now update, and you will be playing on the unstable branch.
To send us your feedback and join the community:
Join our discord server and select the unstable role via the #role-opt-in! channel. This will add you to the secret unstable channel where you can discuss your feedback/spoilers.
Remember to always back up your save games before switching to the unstable branch.
It should be easier to build a tile of platform blocks away from you, even though you can't see the Attach Points.
This is an ongoing effort to improve the block building process as much as possible and we welcome any feedback that players have.
If a structure block isn't attaching as you'd expect it to, please let us know.
You can now change the block that the camera focuses on, even if you're holding a block on your cursor.

Structure machines, which were predominantly yellow with orange detail, are now predominantly orange with yellow detail, to make them more visible against yellow platform blocks.

Ready for a haunted hunt? Halloween is back in Dying Light!
When the spookiest night of the year comes, the deadliest horrors dress up and flood the city’s streets, looking for candy blood. For this trick-or-treating, you’ll need a really large candy bag. And maybe some reliable weapons too. Volatile (sugar) rush has made them much more sensitive to sounds during Halloween, so any noise you make will alarm and lure them to you. Use your Super Crane’s powers to wipe those carved smiles off their pumpkin faces, and don’t forget to collect their trick-or-treat potions. Warning: Use with caution! Their effects can be… surprising.
The community will want to collect as many of these as possible, so help them, and you’ll definitely be rewarded. And don’t forget to get rid of the Goons, Virals, and Volatiles! They disguised themselves, but don’t be fooled. They’re no trick-or-treaters. Finish the bounties, though, and you’ll see there’s something nice waiting for you in return.
