Some updates that just went live (thank you again to the Prologue community):
Chalk can now be recruited as a companion on the prison transport.
After claiming the facility, Chalk can help you become a cannibal. This will unlock the cannibalism system where you will find meat on dead bodies when you loot them. Eating this will restore some of your health outside of combat. Only you and Chalk can eat human meat if you unlock the feature.
Added action point cost of attack to target rollover during combat
Rally Call now adds action points during combat instead of initiative
Fixed bug on new character screen where skills were not always being randomly filled when using the dice button.
Fixed bug where biology bonus was not showing properly for the healing amount for injectors.
Fixed bug where it was tough to click and talk to Scrapyard Sal from certain camera angles.
Fixed bug with Blade Dance or Quick Trigger killing a target on the first hit
Fixed bug where helmet was not adding to enemy NPC health
Possibly fixed a bug where the helmet visor material occasionally goes missing and becomes pink in the portrait box
Cheat console requires command to unlock cheats
New scrollbar handle to make scroll areas a bit more visible
Fixed bug where camera would not reposition back on player after focusing on companion during combat
Fixed bug where combat actions would not clear after combat concluded
Side party portraits tooltips now update when gaining experience
Fixed Cheetah showing up in pirate base after recruiting her
Added confirm box for planetary upgrades
Fixed a bug where Achievements were not working if going to menu and starting game a second time
Added quick and auto save slot amounts to options
Attribute tooltips added to text as well as icons
Fixed bug with mini-map icons not showing (can now also see where terminals are in base)
Fixed bug where Skulks were sometimes calling up combat twice (due to their aggro flag being on while also having their combat initiated from dialogue)
Ship now rotates and faces planet before scanning and mining

Hey there. Couple of things have happened in my life, good things.~ But as for the game, I've done a couple of things. Mostly writing stuff for cutscenes and structuring stuff. I also I worked on some character concepts for the update. If you’re wondering why these characters are even gonna be in the game, don’t worry about it. Trust the process. I promise it’s gonna all make sense. Anyways, Thank you all and have a good one. Here’s some of the concepts.
AI-driven communication with NPCs were recently featured in a high-profile Unreal Engine demo.
But this vision has deep roots in indie development, too.
Bot Colony _redux is our reimagining of the 2014 cult classic Bot Colony, fully rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. It features real-time voice conversations with NPCs in a unique sandbox-style AI interaction system, because we believe intelligent, unscripted storytelling deserves a bigger spotlight.
If you’re curious to try the updated version of Bot Colony(for FREE!), a demo is launching next week during Steam Next Fest next Monday, on June 9th. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
With this most recent pass, we set out to craft a living nightmare, a world whose every surface speaks of pain, toil, and terror. And it's much larger than just our maps—we've also applied the 4Gs to our characters, outfits, and weapons.
Medics, take note: the VS-11 (seen in the video above) and K&W MP6 now come with the healing dart mod by default, reinforcing your role as the squad’s lifeline. We've also added some new Medic weapon mods that allow you to adjust dart behavior and healing efficiency. In addition, the Biomorphic Projector now features a secondary fire that heals allies as well.
Be sure to let us know what else you may have spotted and let us know what level you plan on dropping into first. We can’t wait to continue sharing more with you as soon as this weekend at IGN Live, so tune in and watch (Saturday, June 7th) via Twitch and Youtube!
