In the past, when you first started the game, all vehicle data would load onto your computer at once. This often caused long wait times. Now, we load each car only when you actually need it.
How does this help? The loading time is reduced when you enter the game. Vehicles appear much faster when you browse the menu or switch to a new map.
2. Smaller Updates When You Have Internet Connection
If there’s an update on Steam, instead of downloading the entire vehicle pack again, we only download the small pieces that have changed.
How does this help? Ongoing updates take up less space and download more quickly. When we add a new car or fix visuals on a model, the update size stays small, so the download time is shorter.
3. Uses Less Memory (RAM) on Your Computer
Because not all cars are loaded into memory at the same time, your computer can run more smoothly while you play.
How does this help? If you play for a long time or change maps, you’re less likely to experience stuttering or lag. This makes the overall experience more fluid and enjoyable.
4. We Can Add New Cars Instantly
When our development team creates new cars, new skins, or extra add-ons, those items become available automatically as soon as you update the game. This means:
You can use new vehicles without needing to download a massive file.
If we only change a few models, only those model files get updated.

We've made some improvements to bring you a smoother and more polished experience:
Changes:
Updated the input UI for a better typing flow Improved visual effects while waiting for weapon generation After defeating the King, the Black Cat will now leave a short meow-ment of feedback on your story Fixed several bugs That’s all for now, go see what the Cat has to say!
Greetings Commanders! We're pleased to announce that Zodiac Legion will be featured during TurnBasedThursday from June 2-9, under the witty influence of Gemini. As always, we've prepared some meaningful improvements for the occasion. Since many of you have provided valuable feedback on the tutorial experience, we've focused this update on making the game more approachable: Tutorial & UI Improvements:
[] Less fiddly combat preview with cleaner presentation[] You can now select enemies to see their range and movement indicators now visible (when no friendly character is selected)[] Added UI sound effects for better feedback[] More varied triggers for tutorial progression (no more getting stuck!)[] Previous tutorial messages can now be reviewed[] Scroll speed has been toned down for better control. There are a few menu options to control it[] Reduced window overlap issues[] Tutorial VIPs are now more resilient to avoid untimely demise[] Opponents tasked with guarding a room won't chase the party through the whole level anymore until first contact.
We're also continuing work on the comprehensive armor overhaul mentioned in our previous update - body part-specific coverage, weapon effectiveness, and enhanced stamina mechanics, on top of extensive cosmetic armour customization. On the UI front, we're implementing a better help system to let you access any of the help topics from a table of content when needed. We will also cut down the "total walking time" in the tutorial, to make the experience smoother.
You can now edit the amount of time on the timer! I understand that everyone works differently and want this tool to be as flexible for you as possible. There's a 10 minute minimum though so y'all don't just play games all day haha
We will be announcing the release date of Mewgenics via a very spicy trailer from the one and only Meat Canyon, Sunday, June 8th at 12pm PST!!
But that’s not all!
We will be revealing this trailer LIVE on the PC Gaming Show!
So be sure to mark your calendar and watch live with us!
Here is a single screenshot of the trailer...
We will be posting the trailer here shortly after the live show in case you miss it, don’t worry!
But anyway...
A lot of you have been bothering asking us to post full versions of two tracks we have half-spoiled via videos in the past. So here you go!
Flush (Sewers Track)
Lonesome Road (Desert Track)
This OST is so fucking good... there isn’t one track on it that I don’t totally love. Ridiculon usually uploads the spoiled tracks to their Bandcamp page, so feel free to check it out and throw ’em a bone! (They deserve it!)
A common question we get asked about Mewgenics is, "Can you break the game like in Isaac?" and our response is usually "Well duh!", but I thought I’d prove it by posting a tiny video of what one of our testers was able to achieve in a recent run (Thanks Eli!)
So here’s what’s happening... Eli found a piece of armor that says each time you lose a Holy Shield (a shield effect that blocks all damage from one instance), fire sparkles at random enemies equal to the number of damage absorbed by the shield. Then he added in a piece of armor that doubles the effect of the first armor piece. Then, using another combo with his fighter, he was able to hit his own unit wearing that armor combo with a mega punch, essentially doubling his damage and spreading it out across the whole map with a single attack.
Mewgenics is cool. I’m excited to see what you guys do with it!
Hello and welcome to 1.2.1! We have a few bugfixes and a micro feature.
MICRO FEATURE: - In Endless Mode, add an option to automatically sell harvested data every 10 seconds via the Surveillance Hub. Maybe that saves you some clicks. Thanks to 47GodlikeKittinSoldier for posting the idea on the discussion board!
BUGS: - Made it impossible to open more than one instance of FACEMINER (as in the actual Steam Game, not the in-game-meta-software), which will hopefully help to resolve any remaining Windows 11 alt+tab issues. - More work towards ensuring Endless Mode remains stable during longer sessions for all users. Do let me know if you are still running into issues after this update. - Made clock position more robust across different resolutions.
