Hordes of Hunger - sarahmkwalee
Your swords are sharpened, the journey for vengeance has begun.

But what lies ahead?

Now that Hordes of Hunger has been released into your hands, we’re excited to reveal a sneak peek of what to expect throughout Early Access with this Roadmap!

Throughout Early Access, we will be releasing the following features:

Rage Arena Update - Get ready for endless brutality in the Rage Arena! In this mode, the horde will keep appearing until you become overrun with enemies. This update will also include a new map of the ‘City’.

Hell Mode - You thought you were safe from the relentless horde? Once you complete the main game, you’ll unlock Hell Mode - a whole new difficulty which turns up the heat, meaning the levels become much harder.

New Weapon - As you progress through the levels, you’ll be able to obtain weapon parts such as the Hammer to craft later on. We will be introducing the Scythe into these weapon parts, giving you another weapon to choose from.

New Skill Tree - We’ll be adding a new skill tree to broaden your options even further! Totems are pillars that will be dropped in three different points to create an area of damage - whether this be pain, fire, or thunder. The larger the area, the more monsters will be affected!

And that’s not all! Throughout the early access period you can expect camera upgrades, bug fixes and improvements, new enemy types, new story missions, achievements, Steam Deck verification, and more weapon art variants!

Blindfire - Rushy
NEW FEATURES

The first rifle has been added - the Cerberus!
- This semi-automatic rifle packs a massive punch, but with only 3 rounds per mag, every shot counts.
- Unique to this weapon, you can't reload early, and will reload automatically upon the clip emptying.
- A couple of skins have been added for the cerberus, with more coming soon!

A new match type has been added - Wingman!
- Protect each other as you advance in this Best of 5, 2v2 specialised mode.
- If your partner dies, hide or protect yourself until they are able to respawn - the round only ends if both players on a team are dead at the same time.
- The dead player is, of course, free to use traps to endanger the other team while waiting…
- 2 new, small scale maps have been added to accommodate the game mode, complete with another new feature...

A new feature, Upgrades, has been implemented!
- Upgrades are in-map pick ups that let you turn the tide of the battle in your favour.
- Upgrade spawn points have been dotted around maps for all modes except Bodycount. Just remember everyone can see them before you run for them!
- Upgrades come in 4 varieties;
- Med-pack: Gives you an immediate burst of healing, as well as a further limited amount of healing over time. Patch up and get back in there!
- Overdrive: Gives all of your weapon damage a boost for a limited period. Go for the kill!
- Echo Repeater: Causes your echo to continually trigger for a limited period, giving you tactical superiority over the opponents. Search and Destroy!
- Overshield: Treat yourself to a second health bar in the form of a shield! Just don’t get overconfident…
- Upgrades respawn after a period of time, so ride out the storm and you will get another chance soon!
- But for the strategic minded, upgrades can also be destroyed by shooting them. Consider your approach before making a move!

IMPROVEMENTS

- Bots have continued to receive incremental improvements. They should be now a little more prone to exploring, and reacting to traps activated by living players.
- Bots are also already able to function in the new Wingman mode.
- We are continuing to make incremental changes to the UI - the new mode has the new in-match scoreboards already present.

FIXES AND CHANGES

- Some objects that were incorrectly blocking grenade throws have been fixed to allow grenades through. We will continue to improve this as we find specific issues.
- Bots should more carefully make their jumps, so as not to potentially get stuck.
- Custom Game Anti-Camp should now function as expected.
- Button Prompts should update as expected.
- “Invalid” has been done away with, and they shouldn’t be responsible for your death any longer.

KNOWN ISSUES

- Bots aim low with melee attacks, causing them to miss even when you aren’t moving.
- Any movement on your part will have them shooting again, short term.
- Bots have a chance of not understanding the need to use launch pads to reach the goal in Shadowline Stadium.
Achilles: Survivor - Roni 🌻
Hey Survivors!

Hope you’re feeling brave (and fireproof), because this one’s hot.
Update 0.6 is live - and it’s our biggest yet, forged in the fire of your feedback (Mount Doom has nothing on it) and hundreds of hours of coding, testing and fixing.

It’s going to be a long one; you’re going to need a jug full of coffee this time around

🌋 New Realm: Mountain Fortress
Deep below the mortal world, beyond the reach of sea winds and sunlight, rises a fortress carved into the bones of a living volcano.

Its walls glow with molten veins. Its halls echo with the chants of Hades' sworn-cultists who traded their souls for power, and now worship death with every breath.

In other words: our third realm is here, and it’s full of lava. What to expect?
  • Explore five handcrafted locations in the heart of a volcanic peak.
  • Face new, tougher enemies & bosses.
  • Don’t forget to enjoy the views!

🕷️ New Survivor: Phalanx, the Venomous Spider
Cursed and twisted by Athena for defying the gods, reborn with eight limbs and venomous fangs, he is a fast, lethal predator that weaves poison into every encounter.

Meet Phalanx, the Venomous Spider.

He’s fast. He’s deadly. He’s got way too many legs.

Winner of our community vote, Phalanx, joins the Survivor roster with increased power range, critical chance, and movement speed, striking enemies from afar with volleys of poisonous thorns. Take a look at him in action:

🛠️ New Game Modes: Short Runs and Difficulty Levels
⏱️ 10-Minute Runs Are Here (Finally)
This was, without a doubt, your #1 request.

Not everyone has 20 uninterrupted minutes. Some of you have families. Others have fatigue or health issues. And a few of you just really like intense, compact bloodbath.

That’s why every realm now supports a short-run mode. Choose your location. Play for 10 minutes. Win, lose, repeat, it's up to you.

🎚️ Choose Your Difficulty
You asked for more difficulty. And also less difficulty. So… we did both.
  • Easy – great for casual runs.
  • Normal – Former default, balanced challenge.
  • Hard – Unlocks after your first clear. Proceed with caution.
Yes, you can switch anytime. No, we won’t judge. We’ve all been humbled by a flaming plant before.

⚔️ New Bosses & Midbosses
New faces, same goal: send you back to Tartarus. Alongside new normal enemies, we’ve added four new bosses and midbosses - each designed to test your builds and reflexes.

Boss: Talos, The Bronze Sentinel.
Each of his steps is an earthquake. A towering guardian forged by the gods, Talos, now stalks the Mountain Fortress.

Boss: Agamemnon, The Fallen King
Greece is his domain, and he is not happy to see you. Agamemnon brings tactical aggression to the battlefield. He punishes hesitation, and doesn’t go down easy.

Midboss: Stone Golem
Don’t let him fool you. One charge from this hunk of enchanted rock can flatten you.

Midboss: Fire Plant
If a flamethrower grew roots and hated you personally, this would be it. We’ve heard you loved plants, so we thought “how about a bigger one that shoots multiple projectiles at you?”.

🌀 New Challenge: Seal the Rift
New location objective - win by closing a massive, unstable Rift - a portal pumping out elite enemies non-stop.
Your goal: hold the line long enough to shut it.
Your tools: whatever you managed to scrounge together on this run.
Your odds?

… Good luck!
💎 Increased Favour Levels
If you clear Hard Mode, the gods will actually be impressed. They may even grant you Divine Crystals as a prize. Using Divine Crystals, you can unlock higher Favour tiers and finally reach your full potential.

🪓 New Pick-Ups
Want more stone?
Now you’ve got it.

Two shiny new pickaxe tiers can now drop mid-run, giving you bonus stone for building.

🏆 29 New Achievements
That’s not a typo.

🧰 Major QoL Improvements:
We made life (and death) just a little easier:
  • New ‘unseen’ markers highlight powers, structures, and transformations you haven’t tried yet.
  • Restart from Summary screen: Quickly replay the same setup with one click.
  • New Transformation icons: selected transformation icons are now more unique and better reflect their function.
  • Disconnecting your controller now reliably pauses the game.
⚖️ Balance Adjustments:
  • Building damage now scales with location level so turrets & traps remain relevant in later stages.
  • Re-tuned Transformation and Improvement bonuses. Added/removed certain Transformations to keep your builds fresh.
  • Titan’s Blade & Shield Throw gain the Cursed Gods Transformation that will give you more options to apply Curse to enemies, making it easier to complete related achievements.
  • Armour values on Hector and Achilles re-balanced.
  • 3 older achievements adjusted for smoother pacing.
🐞 Over 50 Bugfixes:
  • Max-level Favours now properly display their bonuses.
  • Gold spent in Workshops counts toward statistics and Spend Gold objective.
  • Fire Axes now reliably apply burn.
  • Cursor visibility improved.
  • 50 additional minor fixes including UI polish, language tweaks and various other topics.
❤️ From Us to You
So many of the changes in 0.6 were shaped by your feedback, votes, and comments. We’re a small team, still figuring things out, trying to make something special - and it means the world to have you along for the ride.

Thank you for being a part of our journey.

If you feel like chatting, tell us in the comments:
  • What’s your favorite part of the update?
  • What would you love to see next?
And hey - how are you doing on this beautiful (but cloudy) Wednesday?

Die in the Dungeon - Galbix
Hello everyone!

A new update just dropped, and it brings a brand-new mechanic: Potions!
Let’s take a look at how they work:

🧪 Potions 101

Potions are consumable items that trigger immediate effects during battle. When used, they roll a set of dice and apply effects based on the result. Sometimes, you'll need to reach or exceed a specific value for the effect to succeed.

Just like relics, potions come in different rarities, the rarer the potion, the stronger (and sometimes riskier!) the effect. A special line of high-powered potions, called Super Potions, can be earned only after boss battles. You’ll get just two per run, so use them wisely!

Wondering where to find potions? You might come across them after battles, and rumor has it the shop has some new stock, too! Save up your coins, you never know when an extra block might save your run!

We’re hosting two special events to celebrate this update in our Discord server, come join us and participate!

Meme Survivors: Backrooms - Kayling Gemutlich
Meme Survivors was planned as a project with tons of maps, heroes, and everything else, but during development it became clear that there’s little demand for it and not much point in carrying on…

But I couldn’t leave it as it was.
So:

— A complete redesign of the Steam page and the main menu;
— A shift to a single-location concept with gameplay structured as two 30-minute runs;
— Full support for controllers and keyboard;
— Replacement of sounds and music;
— Bug fixes and rebalancing;
— Improved UI;
— A hero-purchase system;
— 10 achievements.

And a bunch of other stuff that’s not even worth listing.
Yes, only a few people have played—and probably will play—but I’m not ashamed of the final result, because the core goal—time-killing and distraction—is achieved.

Have fun, friends!
See you in other projects.

Memes for the world!
STORROR Parkour Pro - davidaniebonam
Hey Guys,

Beta Build is now live on default branch, Patch notes below!

As always, any bugs/issues/feedback let us know in the comments or Join the Discord to connect with us quicker, and to stay up to date on fixes and upcoming changes!

PATCH NOTES

[NEW] Added wall sliding! Hold Grab to when approaching a flat wall whilst falling to wallslide.

[NEW] Added wall 180s! While wall sliding, point your move input behind the character in the direction you want to launch in and use jump to charge and jump away from the wall. Exciting to see how you guys make use of this mechanic.

[NEW] Added Tic Tac Variants! Holding Just Left Trigger/Right mouse Button) and Jumping will do a one foot tic tac, and holding both triggers/ both mouse buttons will do a sort of wall 180 tic tac variant. You can now actually 180 your way up chimneys, Tim Champion style.

[NEW] Added Kong Front Vault. Hold Vault (Left Trigger) and Flick modifier (Right Bumper) and flick Up on the Right Thumb Stick to Perform a Kong Front. You can do this over, off, onto (KF's onto will do a physics launched KF until we capture the correct animation for this!). Think this is my favourite vault now. There's some issues doing this with K+M that we're aware of so will let you guys know when that's fixed!

[NEW] Added Kong Gainer. Hold Vault (Left Trigger) and Flick modifier (Right Bumper) and flick Down on the Right Thumb Stick to Perform a Kong Gainer. This currently only works when vaulting over something as we don't have the coverage for the other cases yet, but will add them after our next mocap session! Also some issues with this on K+M.

[NEW] Slow motion is back! Press Right Thumb stick / Ctrl Key to trigger slow motion. We will have a slider for the slow motion speed in a coming update. Slow motion is also disabled in multiplayer.

[CHANGE] Tic Tacs now no longer require a double tap but are instead a hold and release like the step jump. Let us know how this feels. This changed so there was less difficulty timing the power and more consistency across powered jump types. It also makes for chaining wall 180s and gauging power a lot more consistent.

[CHANGE] Precision Mode toggle is now on a long press/hold on the Left thumb stick / Shift Key. Sprint remains a quick press. Keen to get you guys feedback on this change! It allows for Slow motion on the right thumb stick and eventually camera change on long press right thumb stick, but definitely want to hear everyone's thoughts on this!

[OPTIMSATION] Ledge detection refactor. Significantly optimised which has also reduced frame spikes in dense areas of the map.

[OPTIMISATION] Physics and Collision optimisation. Some mesh and physics collision optimisations to give better more stable performance throughout the level.

[OPTIMISATION]
Host of other key optimisations in terms of level, character and game thread logic.

[IMPROVEMENT] Improved distance matching on jumps. you can now jump onto and over objects much closer (and even when colliding).

[IMPROVEMENT] Reduced over wall width threshold. Should give more stable context detection for thicker walls.

[LEVEL] Small changes and tweaks to the level, adjusting gaps and unusable areas.

[FIX] Pausing in multiplayer no longer pauses for everyone in lobby

[FIX] Some pose matching and attack crash fixes

[FIX] Collision issues when grabbing

[FIX] Clamped sliding speed and slide jump velocity to avoid those crazy power jumps

[FIX] No more jittery feet when falling at higher velocities

[FIX] Host of other bug fixes. As usual any new ones and existing ones please report in the discord

Thanks for the support as always!

Gamblers Table - Bossforge
Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce that Gamblers Table will be coming to Steam!

First, let us give you a quick rundown of who we are and where the idea for Gamblers Table came from. We are Greenpixels and Bossforge, a team of two hobbyist indie devs from Germany. Earlier this year we wanted to work on just a small prototype together and set ourselves a deadline of 3 weeks. Since we are both fans of incremental games the choice of genre was easy and the idea for Gamblers Table was born.

About 6 weeks ago we published the “finished” prototype on itch.io. We didn’t expect more than a handful of players to try the game but then the game started trending and ended up on #1 of the New&Popular category with thousands of daily players. We have been absolutely overwhelmed by all the great feedback and ideas that we received from all of you, thank you all so much!
Due to the amazing reception, we are going to turn the prototype into a fully fleshed out Steam game now! Here is a quick rundown of what additional features and changes we have planned for the full version:

- Significantly longer playtime
- More coin types
- Better income statistics
- Coins that interact with the board in more interesting ways
- Controlling in which direction a coin flies when flipping it
- Controlling which types of coins the automation helpers will flip
- In general, more interactions with the helpers
- Customization for the helpers (hats)
- Upgrades that change the table
- Better sound effects
- Ascencion/Prestige system
- Talent tree
- More clarity about when and how upgrades unlock
- Achievements

Most of these additions come from player feedback. If you have any ideas or wishes for the full game, we would love to know! If you didn’t have a chance to play it, the prototype is still available on https://greenpixels.itch.io/gamblers-table, go check it out and let us know what you think :)

So, whats next? We will be working on the full game and post regular updates here on the Steam community hub. There will also be a Steam demo with most of the final features closer to release. If you click the follow button, you’ll be notified whenever we post and when the demo goes live.
