SGS We The People - AvalonDigital
WARNING
Saved games made in the previous version are not compatible with this new version. Complete your previous games before updating or start afresh.

The game has now the new system in place. A PDF document is available on the Steam page (in English onlu for now) to give you all details and explanations. It will be added to the SGS website very soon.

The Concept
Loyalty is a concept that represents the allegiance of local population in the game’s different regions and their tendency to support one side or another. This is based on percentage values, a region is fully loyal to you if your loyalty is 100%, and at 0% it is supporting your opponent.

Loyalty is affected by events, cards and military units, through the concept of Police values of units.

1 - Each region has a Loyalty Value (0-100) for each side. The sum of both sides' loyalties shall not exceed 100.
On the map, this is shown via a special loyalty button in the minimap panel that allows the display of loyalty indicators (vertical bars with tooltips showing the percentages of each side).

2 - Loyalty would go up to the side's by adding each end phase the sum of the ‘PoliceValue' of all the side’s units present there. If there are units from both sides (can happen when you have undiscovered hidden guerrilla units in the region), the loyalty will be adjusted by the difference of those sums of Police values.

3 – All units now have police values, usually from 0 to 10. This is indicated in the unit’s tooltip by a shield with a star and the corresponding value.

4 - Some cards effects will add/remove to loyalty of the different sides, both as a flat value or a % A similar effect will be available also inside events (as it uses the same logic)

5 - When a side's loyalty falls beyond a certain adjustable threshold, there is a chance/risk that the region switches/reverts ownership to the other side…therefore you can't leave disloyal regions without garrisons.

6 – Fog of War is automatically lifted in all regions that are a certain percentage (usually high, e.g. 75%+) loyal to your side, even if enemy occupied. In such regions you can check enemy stacks as if you had played an ‘examine enemy stack’ card (those stacks will bear the mirror glass icon).

7 - An empty region that has at least a certain loyalty in the favor of a side is considered as an eligible valid region for retreat, even if enemy controlled.

8 - Income of a region is modified by loyalty. It will be rounded up or down at 0.5 threshold (0.4 = 0, 0.6 = 1)

9 - Construction of units will require a certain level of loyalty, defined in the Loyalty section of the scenario (information displayed on the sides flags in the top of the UI).

10 - The loyalty rules can be made ON/OFF for a scenario (by designer only). For now, it is only active and useful in the 1775 and 1776 campaign scenarios.

What it changes
The most important effects are region control and Fog of War. As a short summary, a region with a high loyalty in your favour will tend to stay to your side (or switch back to you if enemy has occupied it but not maintained a presence) and, if loyalty is high enough, you will be able to spy on the enemy stacks there or, even if temporarily under enemy control, retreat into them.

This will grandly affect gameplay, as the loyalty changes are effected during the end phase of each turn. Therefore the old tricks of quickly occupying enemy regions to change the control and block enemy supply lines or paths of retreat, for one, will be no longer operative. This will change a lot the way to play, especially for the British side. (in the colonies) and also for the Americans (in Canada or other western or southern regions that favour the British).
In all, a completely new way of playing.

We hope you will like those changes.

Chivalry 2 - Ari

Chivalry 2’s Regicide Update introduces the epic Team Objective Map - Regicide at Trayan Citadel, the new Goedendag weapon, a new Campaign, quality of life improvements, and more!

Update Highlights
  • New Team Objective map - “Regicide at Trayan Citadel”
  • New Campaign Pass - “Regicide”
  • New Character Bundle - “Agatha Rebel Knight”
  • New Weapon - “Goedendag”
  • Combat Changes
  • QoL Improvements
ONCE MORE, LEGENDS WILL BE BORN

After many months of warfare, King Argon II and the allied Agathian noble houses make one final push to breach the walls of Trayan Citadel, the heart of Vantear and the Mason Order. However, Malric Terrowin will not stand for such insolence. Through fire, ash, and bloodshed, the kingdom shall finally decide…

“Who will sit upon the throne?”

New Team Objective Map - “Regicide at Trayan Citadel”

Agathians rally around their final hope in breaching the city walls: their battle ram of war called “The Lion’s Thrust.” In order to safely escort the ram, Agathians must retake the outer encampment from the Masons and regain the frontline strength. Should they breach the walls, the Agathian army must continue and blast their way to Malric’s castle through the Citadel, complete with a dreadful volcano (though some of the details, as told by tavern bards in the past, were highly exaggerated). The final stage will evoke Malric’s wrath, bringing him to the field of battle in a face-off against Argon II, leader of the Agathian Knights. Players must then fight and defend their king. Only one shall have claim to the kingdom!

New Weapon - “Goedendag”

A brutal weapon for a brutal age. Adding to the Poleman and Engineer’s subclass arsenal, the Goedendag is the shortest polearm of them all but the strongest and most versatile in damage output. While its slashes and overheads deal blunt damage, its stabs deal pierce damage, allowing the weapon to deal maximum damage to multiple class armour types. Be mindful of your attacks depending on the kind of opponent you are facing! In addition, this weapon’s special attack does massive damage against horses, stopping them in their tracks with a successfully timed blow. Take note of your swings during heavy attacks, as they are noticeably slower in comparison to your normal attacks.

Dev Notes: Since the release of Unofficial Servers with Update 2.10, we’ve been working closely with our Nitrado partners to determine how to enhance this new feature. So far, improvements have been performance issues adjustments, potential bug fixes, adding new Admin options, and implementing Nitrado Steelshield. (An added layer of protection against DDOS attacks)

We’ve also been monitoring the community feedback around the lack of Gold/XP earned within Unofficial Servers and how this difference could make playing within an Unofficial Server less appealing, especially to newer players. As of Update 2.11, Gold and XP gains will be enabled across all Unofficial Servers. We still reserve the right to make adjustments and take action if we see that the improper gain or boosting of Gold/XP becomes popular. Still, we believe that a majority of servers will not abuse this added feature; instead, it will help bolster and highlight the excellent Unofficial Servers that users have been able to create.

Star Stuff - sylvia
We are very happy to reveal that Star Stuff will be launching on June 7th, 2024! That’s just about 2 weeks away! Mark your calendars & prepare to get shiny.

Development for Star Stuff started in August 2020, 3.5 years ago! I treasure those early days of throwing spaghetti on the wall (do people still use this phrase?). Anyway, we’re glad that Star Stuff stuck. And we couldn’t be more excited to share this lovely world with you all. It’s cute, it’s cozy, it’s cerebral. It’s a programming puzzle game unlike any other.

Thank you to those who are listening, watching, sharing, liking, supporting. Please continue! We need every one of you.

Enjoy the new trailer! And I promise, you’ll be hearing from us! : )

Love,
Sylvia & the Star Stuff team

  • Adjustable hip sway and hip counterbalance movement.

  • Enable fallback triggers to allow linked FBT devices to fallback to Standable.
  • Smooth out tracker data (currently only basic interpolation. More advanced methods will be implemented in future updates).
Quick Consistent Calibration

It has been a long journey building Standable v2.0. I want to thank all of my Patreon members for their continued support throughout this past year and the wonderful Beta Testers for breaking my horrible code. Standable v2.0 would not exist if it weren't for them <3
