Let's quickly cover some common support issues, then hop right into the next season reset. It's Faeria Friday!
The Hub update
We'd like to let everyone know that improvement suggestions to The Hub haven't fallen on deaf ears. We have a massive collection of feedback, and we're actively working on a slew of improvements that will arrive in one comprehensive upgrade to the website. This is just a reminder that this is something as important to us as it is you.
Steam accounts and Faeria
On a bit of a support note, there is often some confusion about how Steam accounts interact with your Faeria account. In short, a Steam account can only be bound to one Faeria account. The simplest reason for this is to allow us to provide content for purchasing via Steam. If accounts were not bound, any content you purchased would be available on any Faeria account you log in to with that Steam account.
That seems fairly straight forward, but we know a lot of users personally prefer to use a number of Steam accounts - and this is where confusion sometimes surfaces. Please be sure that you are logged in to the correct Steam account when making any purchase for Faeria. Remember, if you're not sure what your Faeria account information is, you can use the "Recover Account" functionality on the main log in screen.
Recruiting process and Goki
This is also relevant in regards to player recruitment with those who have pre-ordered the Adventure Pouch. When you purchase the Adventure Pouch and are prompted to enter two email addresses of players you'd like to recruit, those same players must sign up for a Faeria account using that same email address you entered in order for you to receive a free Goki. If this process is not followed correctly and your Goki seems to be stuck, please contact support@abrakam.com and we will do our best to help you.
As a reminder, Abrakam employees will never ask you for your password.
Season ending
Our Ranked and Pandora seasons reset on the first Monday of each month. This coming reset happens to be on the first of May!

"Where did this come from? That's a bit out of left field."
You're not wrong. Single player Pandora wasn't a commonly requested feature in our various social feeds, of which we are constantly listening and filtering carefully into our development eardrums. There is another very important line of silent feedback, however, of which we are also monitoring: The behavior pattern of our players.
It would be irresponsible of us not to monitor the plethora of data fed to us by those who log on and play Faeria every day. A lot of what that data shows us is that a large portion of our playerbase is extremely interested in single player content, but become relatively starved for it after a certain amount of play time. Like most problems we recognize - we work toward a solution. This is why Pandora single player mode was introduced.
In this case, we were able to leverage our existing features in a creative way that produces more single player content for our players to enjoy. Since its introduction, we've been monitoring the activity of Single Player Pandora and are happy to see it is indeed popular with the player audience we were targeting. Everyone wins!
I want to stress that just because we sometimes reinforce the single player aspects of our game it does not mean we are abandoning multiplayer development. On the contrary, we are constantly working toward improving all angles of Faeria, and have no plans to stop.
Monthly Cup changes
Shifting gears entirely, we have two slight changes coming to the Monthly Cup and integrated tournament system that we're announcing today.
Timebank reduction
Firstly, we'll be reducing the Timebank total by 1 minute per potential round. When we introduced the Timebank system early last year, we started off with what we knew would be a very generous total. After having witnessed many tournaments under this system, we are confident we can slightly lower the total time available without affecting the majority of games played.
To be clear, the Timebank changes are as follows:
Old Timebank values:
Best of 3: 30 Minutes
Best of 5: 50 Minutes
New Timebank values:
Best of 3: 27 Minutes
Best of 5: 45 Minutes
The idea, as always, is to keep tournaments moving as quickly as reasonably possible yet still allow plenty of time for players to make the difficult decisions in-game that are so closely tied with high level Faeria play.
Fourth place prize, bounty adjustment
For a long time we've been hearing requests from our competitive players to provide some sort of prize for 4th place. We agree that finishing that high deserves some sort of reward, as reaching the top four in any Monthly Cup is an impressive accomplishment. With that in mind, we will be taking the suggestion of lowering Krog's Bounty award from $150 to $100, then redistributing it to the 4th place finisher - who will now receive $100.
In other words, prizes will be redistributed as follows:
Bounties: $100 each (down from $150)
4th place prize: $100 (up from $0)
The total amount of prizes available remains at $3300. This will go into effect for all future Monthly Cups. Thanks for all your feedback!
Monthly Cup X Qualifiers
Speaking of the Monthly Cup: The first qualifiers for Monthly Cup X begin tomorrow, April 22nd!
Remember, even if there is a waiting list, only those players who are checked in will compete. If you sign up and show up, you'll likely still have a spot.
Deals of the Week
You'll find these new items in the in-game store, starting today:

With Monthly Cup IX just behind us, we have a lot of news to catch up on. This Faeria Friday should wrap all current events up in a neat little bun for you.
Server update
As you might have noticed this morning, we pushed a server update that fixed the following issues:
Fixed the inability to log-in for a minority of players following a server outage on Thursday
Pandora is now available on iPad
Pandora solo games will now properly award experience
Chinese fonts have been fixed
Fixed a display error in the language box
Passwords on Steam now support special characters
The Early Access Android version was unavailable for a couple of hours earlier today and is now available again
Riddle status
With over 210,000,000 gold already gathered, the current status of the next Adventure Pouch reveal looks a little something like this:
Have an idea what it might be?
I'm pretty sure the answer is "I love beetroot of a decarbonated toad. My self will be arachnid." But what does it mean...
After last week's newest Adventure Pouch reveal, we noticed a bit of confusion on how to go about choosing your special Yak Avatar if you've already purchased the pouch.
Thanks to everyone who participated, and RequiemsVoid for running the contest! Remember, you can contribute Faeria related art at any time to the "Islands of Faeria" DeviantArt group.
Monthly Cup IX recap
Monthly Cup IX is complete, and here are your winners!

Monthly Cup IX recap
Monthly Cup IX is complete, and here are your winners!
This week, we are happy to bring you a big update including the addition of a Single Player Pandora mode, new languages, performance improvements and last but not least Android Tablet Early Access!
Pandora Single Player
Pandora single player?! Yes, you read that right, we are adding a completely new option to play Pandora against AI opponents for those of you who would prefer a more casual approach without the inherent stress of PvP.
How does it work?
After using a Pandora or Practice coin on the Pandora gate, you will now choose whether you'd like a Single Player or Multi Player run.
The Single Player drafting format is exactly the same as Multi PLayer
The more victories you have, the harder your Single Player AI opponent will be
The more victories you have, the more rewards you reap!
Single Player runs have a reduced set of rewards compared to Multi Player, due to the inherently lower difficulty. This solo mode is intended to provide a way for non-competitive players to enjoy Pandora and increase their collection without facing competitive opponents. Performing well should be worth the time investment compared to just buying packs outright.
The Pandora solo is currently only available on PC, Linux, Mac computers and Android Early Access. The Pandora solo will be available on iPad tablets later this month.
Due to a bug, Pandora PvP games that were started prior to the update will be finished in PvE mode. Therefore, your rewards will have been reduced.
To those affected, we are sending:
A full Pandora coin to any Practice run that was in progress
A full Pandora coin + 1000 gold to Pandora run that was in progress
In addition to this, Pandora Single player is not currently awarding experience per game as intended, This will be fixed tomorrow.
Android tablet Early Access
As we've mentioned previously, Android support has been one of our major focuses since the release of version 1.0.
With such a large number of community requests that we have received to test it, we are happy to make Faeria available later in the day through the Play Store's Early Access feature. The current Android version of Faeria will be available for Tablets with Android 6+ (Marshmallow). We are looking at expanding this as we go and we are looking forward to your feedback.
Please note that the Early Access version of Faeria on Android tablets will be available between 4pm and 5pm CEST today. Android tablet propagation may take up to 24 hours of propagation in different regions/different devices
Android known issue
During a purchase, the Google Play Store window will pop-up. If the player isn't fast enough, they will be disconnected from the server but the purchase will be completed. They will receive what was purchased as soon as they start the app again.
New languages
Faeria is already available in 7 languages including English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian and Spanish. In today's update, we are also bringing Faeria to more languages:
Japanese
Korean
Chinese (Simplified)
Chinese (Traditional)
Czech
With these additions, we are now supporting a total of 10 languages with more to come!
We would like to thank our hard working community translators for the help provided in the process: Gravekper, uwlryoung, anatomic, ASML, weipeng, HAHATTAN, Ceyropaiax, YAAP, Naix, iya, Arrotanis and Ascalodon!
Fixes and improvements
Improvements of overall performances
Addition of servers in Asia (Singapore)
Fixed an issue that was causing servers to freeze on rare occasions
Addition of a redirect to an other world region if there are no game servers in the best region (based on player's ping)
Minor AI improvements
Fixed some server side game crashes
Global memory consumption improvements (Orb and Avatar graphics quality have been equalized and optimized)
iPads with 1GB of RAM or less will no longer be able to set their visual quality to "High" and be forced to play in "Low" quality settings
Our particle system has been completely reworked. iPads "Low" quality and PC/Mac/Linux "Lowest" quality settings have been adjusted. The particle effects are now either disabled or tuned down, leading to smoother experience, improved battery life on tablets and reduced RAM consumption but a decrease in animation quality.
Egg update
While we're at it, we wanted to give everyone a follow-up on what we've fixed since last Saturday's Monthly Cup regarding the free stream reward issues that some users experienced.
We've sorted all outstanding issues where players weren't correctly sent an Egg.
If you had an issue, you will have received an Egg in-game yesterday.
We've identified the underlying cause for the problems and it won't happen in the future.
We've sent everyone who was affected an email explaining all of this. In addition, to ensure everyone had a chance to hatch their eggs in time, we will be activating a special hatching event this coming Thursday, where your current Egg will be hatching. Sorry for any trouble!
Also, we'll be increasing the expiration date of existing Egg coupon from long ago some time this week before that hatching event.
One last thing we'd like to note is that if you ever change your Twitch username, you will need to unbind your account on The Hub, then rebind it - otherwise your account will not be properly linked.

The next Adventure Pouch reveal is upon us, and it's pretty cute. And don't forget - The Monthly Cup is tomorrow!
The home stretch
With all the new players coming into the community, it took you about two weeks to completely unveil Reveal 2's riddle! You've collected 300,000,000 Gold and have unlocked the second of three reveals for the upcoming Adventure Pouch.
You may already have an idea of what the hint would be as more letters were exposed, but now that it's fully uncovered, let's get a little more specific.
The complete riddle for Reveal 2 is:
"I am everybody's fluffy and cuddly desire, one you will be able to acquire."
Roaming the fields of Faeria, they've always been your trusty companion in all your daily endeavors: The noble yak.
Cute, calm, and ever so fluffy, the Faeria Yak plush pillow is here and is now part of a third package available for purchase in the Adventure Pouch, if you should so choose. You can upgrade your current Adventure Pouch at any time if you decide later on you'd like a fancier one. The Yak plush pillow is available in limited quantity and shipping is expected to start when the Adventure Pouch launches in Summer 2017.
In addition to this, everybody who has pre-ordered, or is planning on pre-ordering, any Adventure Pouch will also be given the opportunity to choose from one of 6 or 7 (depending on which Pouch you have purchased) Yak Avatars, directly.
Here are the Yaks you can choose from that will be given to you directly in-game, with no need to hatch any Eggs at all:
Pioneer Pouch and better:
Yak Sparrow
Strawfield
Fluffie
Sir Yakkinton
Fafnir
Peace Blossom
Supporter Pouch and Collector Pouch
King Yaknus
If you've purchased a Pouch already, you can adopt your Yak right now by going here.
Adventure Pouch Reveal #3
With that out of the way, it's time we dive head first into the next and last reveal.
It's the last leg for the Adventure Pouch riddle fiesta, this time around, you'll need to collect a whopping 750,000,000 Gold to unlock all the letters of our final riddle.
On a side note, we have noticed that some players are under the impression that the Adventure Pouch will be released in mid-May. We would like to remind everyone that the date we have always communicated is Summer 2017, not mid-May (although pre-orders do end on May 9th). You guys are silly sometimes.
Aquablad, skorch13, Cappuccino, Xologrim, and Atmaz will be your hosts during the event, walking you carefully through the gauntlet of extremely high level games and shower of crushed eggshells.
Watch, cheer, and win.
Many of you new players may be wondering:
"What is the Monthly Cup?"
The Monthly Cup is a single elimination monthly competition where 32 of the best players in Faeria compete for $3300 in prizes. Each match consists of a Best of 5 series of games in Pantheon format.
The most important thing you need to know in order to win prizes while watching the Monthly Cup stream is to link your Faeria account directly to Twitch by using The Hub. We've made it as easy as possible for you.
Prizes for the Monthly Cup have been updated to contain the possibility to win Mythic Chests! The new prize structure is as follows:
Watch this long for a chance to win:
30 Minutes: 1000 gold (Common prize)
60 minutes: Pandora Coin (Rare prize)
90 Minutes: Mythic Chest (Epic prize)
4 hours: Egg Avatar (GUARANTEED)
Dragon Orbs have been replaced by Mythic Chests in the new available prizes, but are still obtainable by players who win games in the Monthly Cup itself.
And now, due to popular demand, you will be able to view your Egg Timer at any moment by looking at your profile on The Hub. No more wondering if it's working correctly! You'll know for sure.
Egg hatching
As with every other Monthly Cup, Eggs will be hatching the entire weekend.
This time, however, the yolks have multiplied. There are five brand new avatars your Eggs may hatch into, bringing the grand total of potential hatchlings to eight.
Yes, even King Yaknus will be a possible hatchling, as was his royal decree. The Cynical Yak will only be available through Egg hatching, and not through Adventure Pouch selection.
It's possible to hatch more than one Egg in the same weekend. If you're logged into Faeria during the hatching period, your Eggs are even more likely to hatch. Make sure you watch out for which new Yak avatar you'll be getting when the Egg hatching ends!
The next Adventure Pouch reveal is upon us, and it's pretty cute. And don't forget - The Monthly Cup is tomorrow!
