At the moment, our team of artists is actively working on creating a user interface for the game, including the design of one of the most important elements of the game UI: HUD (Heads-Up Display). Today we want to show you a ready-made version of HUD and tell you about it in detail.

In the upper left corner, according to the classics, the most important interface elements are located: a health bar, a flask with mana, which, by the way, will not appear immediately, but only after some time, when Richard acquires his witchcraft abilities, as well as a mini-map on which various objects, tasks, and the location of the main character relative to the game will be displayed the world and so on. In addition, in addition to the information component, we have also added decorative elements in the form of bright feathers. Just below is an icon with the name of the active quest and the task to promote or complete it. On the bottom right, we have placed three slots for quick access to various consumables — food, potions and more.

Of course, the HUD design will still be refined and improved, but you can evaluate the quality and style of the main interface elements right now. We really hope that you will like the result!)

Hi everyone! Here are the patch notes for the latest update.

Game Balancing
  • Added 5 new Desert faction kill missions.
  • Increased the health of Desert Needleberry hazards.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed crash caused when hosting a multiplayer game, applying a skin that's unlocked by completing tasks, qitting the game then re-joining.
  • The filters for Advanced Splitters and Mergers no longer shows in-development resources and blocks.
  • Debris is now granted to the player when lowering terrain with the Terrain Tool.
  • The Terrain Tool now displays a counter to indicate how much debris the player has.
  • Concrete can now be rewilded with the Terrain Tool
  • Fixed bug where if you exit build beam while in your Tech Cargo, you can't remove blocks from your Tech.
  • Fixed issue with Techs not cooling down correctly when in shadows from Shade Trees.

Known Issues
  • Snapshot Manager filter names are showing develpment names instead of player facing names.
  • When using a controller, dropping your Tech while an item is held leaves you in a state where you cannot move or freely place the item you are holding.
  • Alt-scrolling on a block with no variants in the Tech Cargo will make the image disappear.
  • The enemy Tech called ‘Grouper’ has a nametag above its head. This is inconsistent with all other enemies in the game.

We're excited to showcase our demo publicly on the upcoming October's Steam Next Fest! We can't wait for you to try it out!

Demo release contains a skirmish battle mode with randomly generated galaxy and AI opponents waiting to conquer it. The introductory campaign will help you get immersed into the role of an imperator, expanding moon by moon!

Our team is super small (2 developers working on this game part-time) but that doesn't stop us from exploring more fun ways to expand the demo, so expect more news soon!
