With today's update, the Promise of Eminent Revival is met, and all Battle Pass owners who have reached Level 615 can now find this new treasure bundle awaiting in the Armory. These items are exclusive to Level 615 Battle Pass owners and will not be tradable or purchasable on the marketplace.

Immediately granting all five items contained within upon opening, this bundle features select items from previous Immortal treasures that commemorate the history of The International. Each of these items features two styles: a default style that rethemes these Immortal hallmarks to match this year's event, and a second style unlocked through playing that gives it an upgraded touch.

Today's patch brings a summer update to Dota Plus that is focused on making improvements to some existing features and implementing a handful of new things for all Dota Plus subscribers.

In addition to a variety of changes to Dota Plus Guides—including improvements to item, lane, and ability suggestions—we've added a new Summer Terrain, support for Turbo Mode, and implemented dozens of new Plus Hero Challenges.

Some new Plus features include the ability to spectate the team perspective of a friend's live game without a broadcast delay, allowing you the flexibility to jump in or out at any time during the game. We've also introduced a new Plus Prediction Charm that grants Shards for correctly predicting your victories, so don't forget to cash in on your confidence.

The eighteen teams bound for Vancouver are set, and the International is almost upon us. In today's update, Battle Pass owners can start digging into The International 2018 Compendium features in preparation for the Group Stage and Main Event.

With the return of the Fantasy Challenge, it's time to unwrap your Player Card Packs and begin considering which roster combinations might nab the most points. This year we've sped up the unwrapping process, and also added the ability to purchase a specific player's card with dust, so you'll never need to hunt for that elusive favorite again.

You can also select a Favorite Team this year before you even unwrap any cards. You'll get a team logo spray, profile card, team effigy banner, and show up in that team's fan count when spectating in DotaTV. Once you collect a full set of cards for your team, you'll unlock special teleport effects, with upgraded versions available to those who collect full sets of silver or gold.

Today's compendium update also includes Hero, Team, Player, and Tournament Predictions. Test your knowledge of the professional scene by correctly predicting the meta of the tournament before first blood is shed. The more results you correctly predict, the more Battle Points that await. All you need to do is choose.

Roshan the Immortal has smashed his way into a labyrinth beneath his lair, driven to frenzy by the scent of the world's rarest cheese. In today's update, all Battle Pass owners are invited to follow his path and descend into the Underhollow, where a proving ground of teamwork and battle tactics awaits—along with a supply of Battle Points for those bold enough to seize them.

Party up with two friends or queue-met allies to navigate your way through this maze of monstrous hordes and vile traps. Work together to outwit and outlast the seven other teams each fighting to be the last group standing.

Each week you'll have new chances to earn Battle Points by winning a clash outright as the last team standing, killing any opponents during battle, or unearthing rare and valuable cheeses—such as the coveted Roshefort wheel. But remember: Roshan is on his own quest, and his frenzy is causing the Underhollow to collapse around him. You'll need to step quickly and choose your path wisely to have any hopes of escaping alive.

The new Ranked Season of Dota will go live with tomorrow’s update. As we kick off the season, your new Ranked Medal will be calculated through a calibration period of ten games. This season's calibration will allow for a substantial change in rank based on your performance during calibration, seeded by your previous rank. Your previous season’s medal will be displayed in your profile, alongside your new medal.

We've made some changes to the Ranked Medal system itself. You'll now be able to see the progress on your profile medal, visible only to you, to track your advancement towards the next star or rank. Additionally, the steps between ranks go from 1 star to 5 stars, instead of 0 to 5. There is also a new tier of Ranked Medal exclusively for players positioned on the Leaderboards — designated as Immortal — to help more clearly distinguish the top players in the world. The Immortal rank does not have stars, just the explicit leaderboard ranking.

As always, Rank Medals represent your highest performance level for the current season, and a medal will never decrease in rank once you've earned it. Once you've calibrated your new ranking, there's nowhere to go but up.

The International 2018 Collector’s Cache has arrived. Available exclusively to Battle Pass owners for $1.99, and brimming with 14 subterranean-themed item sets—and three rare sets—the Collector's Cache is ready to unearth a rich seam of heroes suitably styled for this year’s event.

Unboxing fourteen of these treasures automatically grants you 27 Battle Levels. As always, the chances for a rare drop increase with each treasure you open, and each purchase contributes directly to The International prize pool.

As in years past, this treasure is only available for sale until The International concludes, and the items inside are exclusive and cannot be purchased elsewhere. Each set can, however, be gifted once or recycled for 2,000 Battle Points, and the Ultra Rare is marketable.

We are pleased to announce that submissions for the 2018 Dota 2 Short Film Contest are now open. Filmmakers have until the morning of August 7, 2018 to submit their short film creations of 90 seconds or less to the Dota 2 Steam Workshop to be eligible for consideration.

As always, we invite all fans to visit the Workshop to participate in the voting and discussion process to help us select the best entries to be showcased as part of The International 2018 broadcast. Upon review of the Workshop ratings and discussions, Valve will nominate the top entries to be featured in The International 2018 Battle Pass for a final voting process by the community to determine the winners.

Like last year, each finalist that places in the top ten will be guaranteed to win $500, and the top three selections will be awarded prizes of $25,000, $10,000, and $5,000 in recognition of their contributions to the Dota community.

With today's update, the all-new 'Hell-Spar Anathema' Lion Prestige item is at last unearthed. Available to all Battle Pass owners who climb to Battle Level 255, this exclusive replacement for Lion's demonic left arm also includes a second style that can be unlocked by securing 50 high-damage Finger of Death kills where the victim has at least 350 health.

Featuring new animations and sounds for Lion's ultimate ability, the 'Hell-Spar Anathema' can only be obtained by increasing your Battle Pass to level 255 before the conclusion of The International, and will not be available to market or trade in the future. Battle Pass owners who've already piled up 255 Battle Levels can now claim this prize from the rewards line and get started unleashing hell's fury upon Lion's enemies.
