December 6 will introduce you to a new version of DOFUS! Updates mean new content, class balancing (and in the case of Sacriers, an in-depth revamp), and, sadly, an extra-long weekly maintenance. Be prepared!

Tomorrow we will release update 2.39: The Slumbering City of Gold. In that update, you can expect to find:

• Chapter 2 of Ohwymi, content for players level 170 - 200
  
• 3 new zones: the Gorge of Howling Winds, the Forgotten City, and the Cursed Pyramid
  
• 2 new dungeons: The Wurmlord's Tunnel and the Chamber of Tal Kasha
  
• And the Sacrier Class Revamp!

It's a different surprise every day, but each present can only be collected on the day that it is available, so if you want them all, you'll need to check back each day! Community Challenges are a game feature in DOFUS, that lets anyone and everyone offer a trial of sorts to their fellow players. Using the Community Challenge interface, one just has to decide on the conditions of the Challenge, the entry fee, the prize, the duration and/or maximum number of players that can successfully finish said Challenge, and see what happens.



Should anyone fail, their entry fee reverts to the player who offered the challenge. So there's something in it for everyone, and they should only be attempted when one is sure to succeed.

With that in mind, we offer you the Field Dungeon Community Challenge!

Using a team of three or more players, all of level 40 or below, you must complete the Field Dungeon in Astrub. And everyone in your team must stay alive to reap the spoils of victory!



Should you succeed, you will of course gain riches, in the form of kamas. This particular challenge has a 5 MILLION Kama event purse, which will be split evenly between all of the teams who successfully complete this challenge before it ends! And to make it even sweeter, all successful teams will also receive the prestigious Monarch Set, and the best prize of all... bonds with the buddies who helped you through this ordeal.



So, what are you waiting for? Go forth, to the Community Challenge Interface, accept the challenge and defeat the Famished Sunflower!

The idea of this challenge is simple. If you're playing DOFUS for the very first time, you can win a special prize - the Joris Hood and Joris Cape - for unlocking any three of the four Incarnam Quest Achievements before 11:59 PM (server time) on November 30, 2016. To celebrate your arrival, we're throwing a party in Incarnam, the arrival point for all new players! The Birthday Imps and several classic DOFUS dungeon bosses will be out in force to commemorate your first day as a freshly incarnated adventurer. There's just one catch. You'll have to beat up the guests to get your welcome gifts.



Sure, it might be awkward, but that's the life of an adventurer in the World of Twelve; meet fascinating people and creatures, punch them and take bits of their anatomy for souvenirs! It's fun and profitable! Birthday Imps in particular are known to carry bags of kamas that are perfect for helping a fledgling adventurer start their career. They also drop their special party beverage to help keep the good times rolling!

Be aware that these Imps like to haze newbies and they will mark you with a particular shade of green that they are fond of if you defeat them. Don't worry, though, the effects will wear off after you fight some different monsters!



And we don't want to tell you how to live your life, but don't party too hard; the Bosses (like the Royal Gobball and Royal Tofu) are quite a bit stronger than the other monsters of Incarnam. Travel in groups and work together with more experienced adventurers for safety. Boss mobs will spawn rarely, so be ready to grab them when they show their face!

This party will last until the start of weekly maintenance on Tuesday, November 22. Have fun, and make some new friends!
