This might be the nicest patch number we’ll ever have. So we tried to make it a worthy one by fixing more than two dozen of bugs!
Once again many thanks to all of you who have been diligent in sending in those reports. Even if we didn’t reply directly we see all of them, and work through them as best as our limited resources allow.
Bug Fixes - Spire ruins with a sky portal are generated with enough space to fit all the features. - Rift shards appear on the map more consistently. - Fixes issues with ramps being untraversable near shallow water and mud. - The exit map button is no longer visible during the legacy loop. - Your traveled route is placed correctly during the legacy loop. - When a clay figurine contains a random drop, that item is resolved correctly. - When you pay an armorer to make an armor strong, they don’t make it ‘balanced’ instead. - Fixing issue with items that go missing in certain variants of the regular keep levels. - Prevents a few instances of non spirit world and edge assets from appearing in those levels. - Shrooms cannot spawn in a way that they block narrow paths. - Reduces the chance that crevices are generated floating in the air. - Prevents gates at the bottom of a stair to be accidentally raised by the level generator. - The interaction marker for delicious mushrooms is labeled correctly. - During the tutorial and in the Garden during the prologue, the weather is always nice. - You cannot travel to underground locations from overland exits. - If a destination is visible but cannot be traveled to, the travel UI doesn’t try to activate, freezing the game in the process. - Fur-lined boots do not prevent cold weather gear from activating when you encounter wilderness and cold during a journey. - Fixes issue with mercy tomb clue. - If you fully deciphered an inscription you don’t have to again with the same wayfarer (unless 4 years pass). - If you already know the secret of a ‘secret keeper NPC’ you don’t have to test again. - Better randomization of weather so the same destination doesn’t have the same weather for an entire season. - The task giving NPCs should be more aware of tasks that are already done. - The text feedback for camping actions is anchored correctly for different aspect ratios. - Makeshift shields still stop damage on the block they break. - Travel doesn’t break because travel gear has 4 effect icons. - Improves the placement of the ‘Raaf Tribune’ starting spot in the Garden of Yendor.
Today we are releasing part 1 of the Museum rework along with some module updates and changes to make the entry phase into infinity significantly easier.
The Museum rework has been divided into two parts as a result of an unexpected delay we had to endure. While part 2 will bring new content to the Museum, part 1 focuses mostly on the improved user interface and refactored code with only minor modifications.
It took a little bit longer to release this update since at first Matt unfortunately got sick for a week and right after it hit Speedy for an entire week as well.
Now that we are both well once again we can finally release the next version before our company officially takes the next three weeks off. During that time period we won't push out major content updates but instead make sure that the game remains or gets into a stable state after today's release.
Following the much needed break, you can anticipate more regular updates and details about the development progress. The next Dev Diary scheduled for this week will contain a small roadmap showcasing our plans for upcoming content updates and the future plans for the game.

Update is not backward compatible for real time multiplayer since I made changes/fixes to the network code.
ADDITIONS:
Be-4 and Be-2 naval recon planes to the USSR. Can be launched from ships that have a catapult.
SS and Guards option in the store. This option will give the unit +15% damage against other units that are from another ideology. They will get twice the morale gain and suffer 50% less morale loss. They won't surrender either. Censored version for our German friends, sorry guys but the game would be banned for using the real SS icon :( Censored version is applied automatically to German region and displays the iron cross instead of the real SS logo.
5 Chinese commanders.
Ram Mk. I and Ram Badger to Canada.
Possibility to mod NATO counters.
Custom store headers for Spain.
CHANGES:
Not showing the state of the enemy’s ammo and fuel anymore, will add that later back if you pick a certain policy (spying).
QoL : When you delete the unit’s name in game it will now set itself back to the normal name.
Stalingrad and Sea Lion south difficulty changes (too hard).
Carrier compatible planes cost 50 more.
Recon planes cost less to make a bigger difference with offensive planes (fighters and others).
Mechanized option for guns no longer apply a +5 soft damage to them. Only infantry.
Submarines were pretty much cannon fodder for ships due to their inability to disengage after an attack (limited by the 2 action points rule). Attacking now with submarines will not cost an action point anymore, so they can move, attack, then move again. Their number of movement points remains unchanged so they still can’t get very far away). I recommend using recon planes alongside with your fleets now so you can easily spot the subs.
Made deployment of new units at newly captured cities longer (2 turns to deploy new infantry at something captured behind the frontline was too short, minimum of 3 for towns, and 5 for factories and cities and 2 for airfields).
Inviting allies of same ideology was too cheap, made it twice more expensive.
Belgian heavy infantry and engineers got a graphics swap.
Artillery barrage policy now doubles the cost of ammo supplies.
Blitzkrieg policy now doubles the cost in ammo and fuel of your tanks, mechanised/motorized units and CAS planes.
Commanders are now more expensive and their range is taken into account in the way the price is calculated (useful for modding).
Small changes / adjustments to Europe map.
Destroyers possibility to damage ground units.
All ships now remove entrenchment levels (except patrol boats or gunboats).
Ships damage now take entrenchment into account.
Adjusted the ammo of German artillery.
Graphics of Ram Mk. II
NATO background graphics for ships from round to square (better distinction with planes).
Italian flag to historical one (original one missed the crown).
When clicking on the objectives panel it will now only show the VPs that are left to be captured and not the ones you captured already (easier to know where you need to go).
FIXES:
You could resupply fuel / ammo infinitely if you just spammed the hotkeys. There were no checks for using the hotkeys to resupply a unit.
Sync issues in real time multiplayer with mobile / PC (when units got deleted/died).
Your units could be renamed to 'waswsawsass' when moving the camera around after you clicked on the unit’s name and thought you had clicked away.
AI freeze instance. Finally found it! Even fixed it live during my stream on Youtube :) Here
New random IDs for units less prone to duplicates. Regenerated the IDs of all units on all maps. This is to make sure each unit is unique and so that when a unit dies the proper one is removed and not another one with the same ID.
Change faction event would happen even if the player already has the faction the event wants to change it to (Allies and Allies) for example.
It could happen that newly placed units would have their sleep button stuck on a setup and you would click on it and nothing would happen, you couldn't change its state.
Fixed the custom scenarios campaign of the low countries text.
Partisans didn't check for a start year use when spawning (modded and official ones).
Free Deaths continue for another week as we make a few tweaks to Zamorak and bow down to our 100% Enrage champions! Meanwhile, be on the lookout for our Ultra Rare new Treasure Hunter prizes… check out all the details below.
We’re extending Free Deaths for another week. You have until July 18th to take on Gielinor's toughest bosses without fear!
Free Deaths means absolutely no penalty when you die – you'll only lose what you consumed in the fight itself. If you've never bossed before, this is your opportunity to give it a try, risk-free. If you’re a bossing veteran, it’s the perfect time to get in some practice!
Remember, we’ve brought in Free Deaths to celebrate the release of Zamorak, but you can take on any boss you like. Time to slay!
This week's Treasure Hunter comes with the power of Foresight!
This promotion's unique feature is three chests with completely visible prizes, including a rarity and modifier that you can choose between!
But if that's not enough, we’re also introducing brand new prizes to add more valuable items to the rarer end of the prize pool. These goodies are very special indeed... if you can find them. You’ll have to be lucky because they’re super rare! Here’s what to look out for:
Superior Knowledge Bombs
These bad boys give you double XP for an hour, and can be activated whenever you want an explosive XP boost. Think of them as the big sibling of the Small Knowledge Bomb you already know and love (for its sweet 1.5x XP/hour buff) and note that the same restrictions apply – they can’t be used during Double XP promotions or to boost Prayer XP at a Gilded Altar, Chaos Altar, or with the powder of burials or auto-sanctifier.
Protean and Dummy Processors
The ultimate optimiser that allows you to process large volumes of Proteans or Dummies at once! It processes 2,000 Proteans or 75 Dummies in one action before breaking and works on any Protean or Dummy in the game.
How To Find Them
At present, these rewards only drop in the new Ultra Rare Prize category of this promotion – that’s one above Purple!
Because they're Ultra Rare, we've put them into boxes containing multiple items, to make any find truly special. Here are the Ultra Rare Prize Boxes for Foresight:
Box of Superior Knowledge Bombs: Contains 10 Superior Knowledge Bombs
Box of Protean Processors: Contains 5 Protean Processors.
Box of Deathtouched Darts: Contains 10 Deathtouched Darts
Box of Dummy Processors: Contains 5 Dummy Processors.
We’ve been delighted to see so many of you taking on Zamorak, the Lord of Chaos – who knew so many of you were ready to fight a god?! Of course, we imagine Free Deaths helped a bit last week (though remember, Story Mode always has Free Deaths)...
As usual, we’ve been listening to your feedback. Changes based on your week one experiences can be found in the Patch Notes section below.
Last week we challenged you all to make those first kills on 100% Enrage and gosh, did you lot step up to the plate.
We witnessed an incredible, 8-hour race. Every second was nail-biting, and it was especially close at the end. We loved every minute of it!
The following players emerged victorious:
Solo: Thats Sus (Extra props for the Ironman status!)
Duo: Kehvo, Jiipee
Trio: Trenk, Linus, Olevando
Quads: Beta Fox, L E G O S, Y0Man, ManlyDied (also the first EVER 100% Enrage kill!)
Quintets: MIW, Glue, Stuman131, Lunge, Virius
But that wasn't the end, we had set a second goal further in the distance, for 1000% and the players absolutely smashed it out of the park in less then a week!
The following players claimed to the top:
Solo: African Herb
Duo: Talju, Smexylonely
Trio: Chai, Katnub, Wazzylicious
Quads: Bluudi, Az Liam, Wiz Tot, Shadofox
Quintets: P U P, Dmowo, Washly, G0att, Evil Lucario
Congratulations, you were all absolutely astonishing!
Wednesday July 12th | 16:00 Game Time | JvM: Zamorak, Lord of Chaos!
Join Mod Spear and Mod Hooli while they fight Zamorak, with guests Mod Sponge and Mod Ramen supporting as hecklers, erm, sorry, cheerleaders... no! Insightful developers. Probably all three.
Mobs inside the Zamorakian Undercity have had their health pools adjusted. Several will now start with a lower base HP but scale slightly harder. This will mean fewer hitpoints need to be dealt with at all Enrages, with Normal mode being the most affected.
Slightly changed the number of mobs on some dungeon gates, in particular reducing the number of demons that need to be killed at lower Enrages.
Addressed a safe spot within the fight with Eterna, Ritual Leader that kept players safe from her spiked floor traps.
Following feedback, several changes have been made to the Chaos Roar melee ability:
Ability now requires a target to cast and needs to hit in order to apply the buff meaning it's no longer an effective switch for non-melee players.
Deals a small chunk of damage 20-130%.
Updated the tooltip to reflect these changes.
Now works for ALL hits in AOE / Twin hit abilities
As an example, the Hurricane ability will now double against all targets.
For channelling abilities, only the first hit will be doubled.
Reduced the size of the portal clickbox within the Zamorakian Undercity cathedral.
Prevented an issue that allowed players who died to be pulled into phase seven while they were in the Zamorakian Undercity as their team mates transitioned into Infernus
Updated the Zamorak, Lord of Chaos total kills quickchat to reflect the amount achieved in group encounters.
Added a quickchat for Zamorak, Lord of Chaos total kills in solo, which will also output the player's highest Enrage.
Fixed an issue with the Flames of Zamorak attack spawning in incorrect locations.
Fixed an issue causing the Zamorak Boss to spawn his minions in the wrong locations.
Fixed an issue with the Zamorak reward chest not spawning for the players who died during the encounter.
Fixed a crash on Intel GPU devices when entering the Zamorak boss dungeon.
Fixed an issue with missing healing from the 'Guardian's Triumph' buff during the Zamorak encounter.
Fixed an issue where the Haste effect would not correctly reduce the cooldown of the Disruption Shield spell.
Corrected some typos on Zamorak’s Coven Generals Hex tooltip.
Fixed an issue with the 'Executed' hitplate, which was not displaying in the correct language on non-English clients.
Burnt Bones now work with the Bonecrusher item.
Hotfixed: Story Mode damage reduction is now applied correctly. For reference, the figure is 90% damage reduction compared to Normal Mode.
Hotfixed: Reduced the HP scaling of mobs within the Zamorakian Undercity by 66% in Enrage mode.
Hotfixed: Fixed an issue causing lower player attack range during phase seven, preventing some channelled abilities from being used.
Hotfixed: Fixed an issue that would prevent HiScores logging in some situations where a player died.
Hotfixed: Fixed a rare issue where players would be affected by Zamorak's world-ending AoE attack if they died and were outside the boss arena.
Hotfixed: Players who are at a certain point of the Vault of Shadows miniquest can now continue the Aftermath miniquest by speaking to Dr Nabanik.
Hotfixed: Resolved an issue that was stopping players from passing beyond 20% Enrage.
Hotfixed: Fixed an issue that was causing Hellhounds in the Zamorakian Undercity to drop Clue Scrolls at an unintentionally high rate. Bad doggies!
General
The Beach: Fixed an issue with the non-reset XP boost from Cocktails when they expire.
The Beach: Players can now get the drop from the skilling drop table while under the influence of advanced Cocktails.
Journey to Iaia: The section of the Iaia track background that went missing has now been safely returned!
Journey to Iaia: Fixed the issue with the 'PH' tag in the Band of Iaia item description.
Journey to Iaia: Fixed an issue causing the Familiar override checkbox to not persist when reopening the interface for Iaia Track Pets.
The amount of Herblore XP gained from Protean Shakes has been adjusted.
Descriptions of all Dinarrows have been updated to reflect their functionality.
Fixed an issue with script errors appearing upon opening Settings.
Requirements Changes
In the coming months, RuneScape will no longer support Windows 32-bit builds or graphics cards that do not support OpenGL 3.0 or higher. This change allows us to focus our technical development and testing resources on more commonly-used platforms.

Hello, everyone, I have set the release date for the game at October 11th. The game will be part of the Steam Next Fest (Oct. 3 - Oct. 10), so it will release right after that.
Also, thanks a ton for getting the game to a hundred wishlists!
