Sorry to keep you waiting - Version 0.8 is officially here! This update includes co-op mode and a massive amount of new content, along with numerous game optimizations. The demo has also been updated to the latest version and now supports online multiplayer. If you enjoy the game, please leave a positive review - it means a lot to us and serves as tremendous encouragement. Here are the update details:

1.New Content:

1.1 Coop Mode: The game now supports 1-4 player online coop. Open the in-game menu and click the invite button to invite friends to join your sailing adventure as mates. Client players need to load a save file and select the world they wish to join on the waiting invitation interface.

1.2 New Sanity System: Characters now have a sanity value. Dying in the game or entering eerie dungeons will reduce sanity. If sanity drops too low, the character will go mad.

1.3 Cooking System Overhaul: Food in the game is now graded like equipment. Eating unpalatable food reduces sanity, while eating delicious food increases it.

1.4 Two new islands added.

1.5 Stardust Bay port area redesigned.

1.6 Stardust Bay church area redesigned.

1.7 A new area added to Stardust Bay: The Abyssal Bazaar, featuring a tavern dock, merchants for rare items, and art merchants.

1.8 A new dungeon added to Stardust Bay, with interconnected passages leading to multiple new areas.

1.9 Canopy Village farm area redesigned, and new beginner quests: "Weeding" can be accepted from the new NPC farmer Bolton.

1.10 Forest terrain on all islands redesigned for better aesthetics.

1.11 Desert area special effects redesigned.

1.12 Sand texture redesigned.

1.13 Cannibal Warrior redesigned.

1.32 New Mechanic: If a ship continues to take damage after being destroyed, it will be completely wrecked and drift back to the starting island.

1.33 A brand-new operational method for shipboard weapons has been introduced. Now, gunners can directly operate the shipborne cannons, while the captain's function to control the ship's cannons is still retained.

1.34 A substantial number of UI elements have been redone.

  • Workers have been added to some buildings. These can be security guards, laborers, salespeople, etc. Currently they serve as an “aquarium” role, with mechanics to be added later;

  • When a product is sold, the funds go into the enterprise's storage;

  • An enterprise now has a "Balance" field that shows the amount of funds available, which can be withdrawn by the player in their inventory;

  • When cashing out gold, tax is automatically deducted, set by the owner of the region (village, city, etc.);

  • The production warehouse can be replenished manually. Items will be sold from it;

  • The building owner can take items from the warehouse for free;

  • If the building belongs to the state (controlled by NPCs), items do not decrease and the budget does not increase;

  • Upon selling a building, balance and all items are reset to default values;

  • A building owner may add a surcharge percentage on item sales for personal profit. Example: Production cost of bread is 50 coins. The owner decides to set the sale price at 200%, making the bread worth 100 coins.
    When any player buys this bread, 100 coins are added to the company's balance. The owner can withdraw these funds after taxes. Tax rates are determined by the settlement’s owner where the building resides. With a tax rate of 15%, the player could withdraw 85 coins from the company balance into their personal inventory. Thus, the owner earns 35 coins net of production costs.
