Hello all! Our point-and-click mouse and keyboard fans had frustrations about not being able to have mouse be an option for everything, so we made a small change to reflect that. Also added some small fixes outlined below!
You can now use your mouse on all UI/HUD buttons, such as the mindmap and profiles
You can now scroll on character profiles that are particularly long (sometimes due to translations)
Fixed some specific resolution bugs

Celebrate Halloween in this scary mansion full of secrets and dangers! Some cultists turned into pumpkin monsters, and the heroes received unique masks. Play and collect valuables, you will need them soon!
The 0.6 update drops this Thursday and I've added a new mode specifically for Halloween. A lot of you have been asking for bigger maps, so consider this an experiment! If you like the mode, I'll make it a permanent entry (possibly minus the Halloween theming).
I don't want to spoil too much of what the mode is, but I'll tell you that you get to try cool parts, fully upgraded, even if you haven't unlocked them yet. The battle is much longer as the map is bigger, and everything looks and sounds spooky!
Oh, and to celebrate Halloween even further, I'm participating in the Halloween sale with 15% off, until November 1st, 10am (Pacific Time).
Besides the Halloween mode, a few more changes:
Save slot selection moved to the top-right corner
Fix Demon occasionally spawning only Bullheads
Cooldowns are maintained when Mechs are transformed
It's that spooky time of year and even the Smashpunks on the world of Coil are feeling it...
This update brings with it a whole bunch of bug fixes and refinements across the board, from the bots, the HUD through to the gamemode. We've also started to stream the game so be sure to drop by the Prospect Twitch channel when we're live!
In the meantime be sure to jump into the game and try to survive the spooky changes this update brings...
Pulse's (personal) healing time has been increased to three seconds. This is slightly slower than before as a skilled Pulse player could recover all of their health very quickly mid fight.
Wartoise's puncher collision should feel a lot better. In the past Wartoise wasn't fighting as well as it could due to hit detection and collision issues. Now Wartoise feels a lot more consistent and is ready to get up close and start punching!
Smashpunks has been updated to Unreal Engine 4.27. This one's a behind the scenes update but we hope you should experience some improvements to the game performance that this Unreal Engine Update brings.
Flag carriers no longer get a battery reward when scoring. This was a remnant of the old design where the flag carriers would have their battery drain when holding the flag. This was a little harsh so we moved to the system we have now, and this feature remained. As the player no longer loses battery when carrying the flag, this feature has been removed.
The Ultimate meter now shows how much time you have left before it runs out. This should allow for more precise and tactical Ultimate usage, and also help everyone see how long their Ultimate has left before draining.
In addition to the above there's been some strange goings on at Double Top and Carrier, but who knows what it could be... something spooky probably!
Bug Fixes
Fixed a problem with the camera continuing to shake even after destruction.
Damage boost overlay should now always clear after destruction.
Friendly bubble shield doesn’t block allies anymore after they respawn.
Shellguard only damages enemies.
UI being too high on the screen has been fixed.
Fixed the alignment of Pulse’s battery meter and other HUD alignment issues.

Bug Fixes Serious Issues User report : Quest 2, some of the models in the tracks are completely blacked out, then the game crashes.
Gameplay 3310 Effect will be canceled upon using Boost pad. All projectile weapons can't shoot out in online matchmaking. Emote : Leaving the pointer on a map at the map voting screen will cause Emote to be disabled. Immersive mode: Can't raise a hand to get stacked item boxes. Achievement: The Siblings' achievement progress is stuck. In License, 1&2 players hands will always freeze whenever the controller guide shows up. Quest Touch Controller won't stop vibrating when driving off-road. Sparks collection count is reporting the wrong number. Players and AI can get stuck in War of Fame.
UX/UI Customization screen is stuck when scrolling. Customizes isn't updated from the garage room. Hidden Rewards progression bar is always blocking the pointer in the Rewards Scene. Social menu customization items do not match customization on the Profile page. Immersive mode: Wheel Position + Steering bar is stuck in the Rewards Scene. Customization cards can keep scrolling after changing the Owned filter to No state. Global Leaderboard calculation is incorrect. 1st place Player info data display does not match to actual. Menu displays the wrong amount of Carbox.
Graphics Track 4 Ideon Grotto Medusa broken animation is fixed. Drift Effect on the road can transfer to another track. License 2, left hand is facing in the wrong direction right at the beginning. Item "The fortune" gloves is displaying the wrong texture. The front wheels keep rotating forward when the player drives backward. Academy Stage 7 Player name tag color is incorrect. License 2: Crashcrodile and Denturous explosion animation had been missing. Audio Learning center - the prologue audio continues after closing the video. License2 Sam's voiceover was playing before the fade-in animation had been completed.
We’d like to update you on where we are with post-release updates. As you’ve seen so far, we’ve been actively patching the game in order to improve stability, address gameplay issues you’ve raised, as well as to get rid of all the bugs you’ve reported.
Going forward, we’ll be patching War Mongrels twice a week. One patch will be focusing on stability and optimization, while the second patch will (typically) include mostly gameplay improvements. We’re going to stick to this plan until we’re fully happy with the state of the game.
Please make sure to keep your game up-to-date! Also, ensure that you have the latest version of War Mongrels before reporting a bug. It’s going to help us immensely when sifting through your reports.

Hi everyone we're releasing an Inventory Update to better support multiplayer alongside some new hats being released for the Spooky month!
The updated inventory system allows for better equipment management for both single and multiplayer. Players will be able to share equipment with each other and be able to drop and reequip armour and weapons correctly.
