We've just released a new update fixing several bugs around contract renewals. Some of you were experiencing players not getting released properly by their teams when playing several seasons in a row. That problem should now be fixed!
We are still working on a bigger update containing more bug fixes and simulation improvements.

New treasure: Cassandra's Curse. Rolling costs +1 gold. You cannot skip this treasure select. You can't escape me by re-rolling.
New hero: Shiva, The Destroyer. 1x2, +0 hp, 2 mana. Greetings: Get the Third Eye. When you destroy a character outside of combat, gain 1 gold.
New treasure: Third Eye. Level 2. When you take me, gain 1 Core Fusion.
New character: Dr. Jekyll. 5/6 Level 4, Good Hunter. Dying Breath: Cast Elementary Insight. Slay: I transform into Mr. Hyde.
New character: Mr. Hyde. 9/6 Level 4, Evil Monster. Unstable 2. Dying Breath: Cast Elementary Insight. Slay: If your hero attack is not a multiple of 3, increase it to the next multiple of 3. Else, I gain 3/3.
Detective Apprentice: removed.
New treasure: One-Way Portal. Level 2. Next time you re-roll a treasure selection, reduce the wait time by 1 turn then destroy me.

Dame Gothel changed to: Your characters attack in reverse order. Aura: Your front row has +1/0 (Grow: +1/0).
Fafnir, the Gold-Hoarding Dragon -> Fafnir: 1x2 -> 1x3 and changed to: After finding 2 Treasures (Odyssey 1), receive +1 Gold at the start of each turn. (old version playable in custom games)
Medea changed to: I can use hp as mana. Draining spells only cost 2 mana. Every time you use hp as mana, your spells cost +1 mana this turn.
Odette changed to: Slay: Do once: Cast The True You on the lowest level character in your next shop. Quest: I transform 4 characters. Moonbathing: Whimsy 1/1.
Back Protector changed to only do one damage ping instead of evenly spreading the damage to the front row.
Lorelei: changed the ability to trigger at most once per fight and added "Entrance: If I wasn't summoned, I gain Shield."
Two Faced Demon changed to: Aura: Your characters have +2/1. Entrance: Give all enemies +2/1.
Count Dracula changed to: Aura: Your evil characters have +4/2 plus +2/1 for every 12 characters I saw die. Double for evil Monsters. Moonbathing: If I am in the front row, I gain Stealth.

Aura Scarf: Now only affects characters and item Auras in slots 1, 2 and 7.

The Pirates are getting more desperate; they engineered a virus that now effects our ships.
Adds New Exotic Ship Skin Needle
Needle's Exotic Perks: - Adds HP Combat Recovery (Except Shields) Even if Infected. - Adds Single Rocket Launcher (Mechanic Same as the Dark Meteor) - Doubles HP Generator's, Increases Chance of Getting HP Generator from Skeleton Chest when infected.
New Free Space Event Type
Pros: - Skeleton Chest don't use keys when infected. - Increase Loot Spawns.
Cons: - Prevents HP / Shield Recovery - Delays Ship Engine Start. - Enemies will become more Hostile.
Sector Control
Enemy Activity has increased in Sectors 4-6.
Adds Map Control to Map Sectors 4-6
Npc's will instant respawn on death.
Destroy Powerful Pirates till the goal is reached, then move to the next sector

AI Behavior Improvements - Aggression levels Under certain conditions AI may opt for a more aggressive move such as performing a run down or running for the buzzer - Enemy path prediction The AI will now aim towards the projected path of an opponent in motion for better accuracy against moving targets - 3 Difficulty levels Beginner, Average and Pro difficulty levels have been introduced. The difficulty currently affects things like accuracy, awareness, movement and aggression. - Perception FOV has been increased The V1 AI sometimes have difficulty seeing opponents just outside their FOV, this should help. - Deciding which opponent to focus on I have added some logic to help the AI decide which opponent to focus on when multiple are in view. The primary deciding factors are distance to the opponent and the opponents aggression towards that specific AI. This will help keep the AI from rapidly swapping back and forth between multiple enemies.
The release of the 0.8 update including the new Molten Collapse biome is on the horizon: we plan to release the update on Thursday, December 19th at 3PM EST. This update took us 6 months to complete, and it's patch notes are triple that of our largest update's notes.

Performance Update ⚡
We've tweaked some settings to make large shops run smoother. Here's what's new:
- Optimized framerate when carrying Click & Collect boxes - Optimized rendering: Only visible objects are rendered - New customer limit for better performance in large shops - Reduced decals on pillars, registers, and fridges for improved performance
With these optimizations, we measured up to 100 additional frames per second in large, well-stocked shops.

Employee Update 🏃
We've worked on employee efficiency. Here's an overview:
- Later unlocked employees work faster - Employees become up to 20% faster with shop level (e.g., a level 5 employee is 10% faster at shop level 15) - Achievements for specific items (e.g., sell 200 Salami Pizzas) are now also unlocked through employee sales
Bugfixes 🛠️
- Removed the mysterious floating light construction - Shelves can now only be placed on the floor (no more floating shelf magic!) - Quest markers at game start are improved and no longer point to full shelves when you need to stock items

- fixes an issue where the player's inventory could be retrieved too early/fast resulting in it being incorrectly empty in-game.
- patched issue where changing Options > Video > Graphics Quality while the game was running would cause the game to become unstable. High graphics option is now re-enabled in settings. Warning: low spec graphics cards may cause motion sickness on high graphics quality setting, use with caution
- fixed issue where shadows weren't rendered on most Arenas (setting graphics quality to low will still result in shadows being disabled intentionally)
- fixed pole object rendering inside out. Inverted normals + back face culling resulted in the player seeing the inside of this object from the outside
Additions/Improvements
- added Best Times section to Profile > Stats. The stats now flip between the original general stats and the best times lists using buttons at the bottom right & left of the stats section
- added The Zivraye Group's official logo to the initial startup menu
When playing on controller, using pickup weapons and ultimates (for certain characters) will now fire in the direction you face the cursor (which is locked around you) rather than the cursor having free movement. This may be buggy in some cases especially when Ultimates are used at the same time as the Pickup weapons - especially on Lady Victory, so please let me know if there are any issues that I missed. (I.e., since there's only one cursor, it's not viable for Lady Victory's Ult attack to be freeform whereas her pickup weapon is not).
New Grey Card 'Better Off Alone' added. This makes it possible to shorten the duration of Taunt for some builds that want Taunt to be on a quicker cooldown.
More space has been made on the Upgrade screen for future One Time Purchasables which I will be adding in the near future.
Brickhead's ultimate attack animations have been slightly improved in terms of shading.
