Fixed a bug where using combat abilities would inflict status effects even if target evades or is immune to the damage, and another bug where the trogs weren't surrendering in Ch.4. Using a grapnel will now throw the item to one tile above the hook. Aimed Jab ability now inflicts Crippled status. Also a bunch of other little bug fixes.
Just a couple more patches before I start on Ch.6 (for real this time). It's gonna be a while because I need to make all the snow tiles, so it probably won't be out until March.
Complete list of changes:
-Sira Beroni now teaches Mechanics and Analyze Character abilities in Ch.2.
-Fixed bug where combat abilities still inflicted status effects even if evaded.
-Fixed bug with "if_damage" Boolean (checks damage in current attack or damage script).
-Fixed bug where mobiles in sand/shallows weren't being drawn when cam repositions for dialogue windows.
-Fixed bug where Cloudspill wouldn't surrender in Trog Caves in Ch.4.
-Aimed Jab ability now has a chance to cause Crippled status effect.
-You can now set "objPos" command to "default" or "target".
-Grapnel is now thrown to tile above hook when used.
-Updated all story files and removed temp fixes.

	Hi everyone,
I’ve identified the cause of the recent crashes affecting Donut Dodo (on startup) and Cash Cow DX (when loading leaderboards). Unfortunately, the SilentWolf leaderboard backend, which both games rely on for their cross-platform leaderboards, has been shut down without warning as of November 1st.
Because the games are attempting to connect to SilentWolf on launch, this sudden shutdown is causing the crashes some of you are seeing.
I’m already working on uncoupling SilentWolf from both games as the top priority. Here’s what to expect:
Steam leaderboards will remain unaffected and can still be accessed normally through Steam.
The cross-platform leaderboards will need to be temporarily disabled until a replacement is ready.
Long-term, both games will be updated to use a new in-house leaderboard system, though this will take a bit of time to implement properly.
This situation came completely without warning, and I sincerely apologize for the disruption. Fixes are being worked on right now and will be released as soon as possible.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
I’ll continue to post updates as progress is made.

Hello everyone! Taste of the Wind demo has made some new updates & adjustments! Check them out!

Added a simple yet comprehensive tutorial for the supply system! After exploring, you'll be guided to talk with Yun to learn supply management basics.
(I let players explore freely first before choosing to learn, rather than forcing a tutorial at the start. Do you think a mandatory opening tutorial would be better, or is this approach preferable?🤔)

The business minigame tutorial now has more detailed instructions, as some players weren't sure how to operate it. (The cleaning minigame will be redrawn for the full release!)

3. Li's training effects have been adjusted. Instead of adding fixed income of 1k/2k/3k per half-month for Basic/Mid/High levels, it now increases Supply Cap by 10%/20%/30%.
4.Knowledge and attributes now directly affect business profits (hover your mouse to see specific effects). For example, higher Management Knowledge increases Supply Cap, while Culinary Knowledge enhances dish appeal.
5.Additionally, the business minigame now integrates with attributes—for instance, when Culinary Knowledge exceeds 20, giving up on ingredient shopping counts as success.
6.Added more interactions in the business section where you can find small objects to interact with. Normal speed increased from 25f to 40f (fast-forward is 100f).
7.Maximum tax rate reduced to 45% (still progressive).
8.Added an opening loading screen, plus various bug fixes and localization improvements.

9.For the unlucky folks at the General Store and Fortune Teller, the maximum loss reduced from 10,000 to 5,000.
10.Fixed bugs where recipe pages could be misaligned and some text displaying in Chinese

That's it for this Demo update! Currently, I'm focusing mainly on the full release, so the Demo will only receive gradual updates. Hoping to let everyone experience and help refine the game's mechanics and feel before the full release~
Also, huge thanks to everyone who provided valuable suggestions and feedback! Any feedback is welcome! I'll carefully consider them all, and some will be added in later years of the game.
Thank you all for your continued support of Taste of the Wind! :D
