To improve the quality of our software and to offer you the CUR3D that you deserve, we ask that you post any bugs you find in the discussion forum here in the Steam community. We promise you that we will look at each problem and deal with it afterwards.

1. BUG: CUR3D reports when starting for the first time that the license server cannot be reached or the license data is invalid.
   
   • Temporary solution: Please exit CUR3D "clean", ie close the message and exit CUR3D. At the next start, the message will no longer appear.
     
   • This problem will be fixed in the next update.
2. BUG: CUR3D reports after a successful start several times that the license server cannot be reached or the license data is invalid.
   
   • Reason: CUR3D crashed more than twice in a row and could not be ended properly or logged off from the server.
     
   • Temporary solution:
     
     1. Exit CUR3D
        
     2. Please contact us directly: info@ruhrsource.com (subject: "CUR3D Steam Edition License BUG")
        
     3. We will reset your license and notify you
        
     4. Restart CUR3D
   • This problem will be fixed in the next update.
3. BUG: Crash due to a culture error when closing the send-crash-log-dialog.
   
   • Temporary solution: Change to the directory %localappdata%\\RUHRSOURCE in Windows Explorer and delete all files that end with *.log and app.templog, too.
     
   • This problem will be fixed in the next update.

Anyone who would like to try out the public beta of the Steam Edition can now take part: Simply switch to the options in the Beta tab and activate the Steam Edition Beta. Maybe afterwards it is still necessary to "check the local files" for errors. Then the download starts; in addition to the new version, new VC Redists will also be installed.

Yes, you read that right: The CUR3D Steam Edition is going into public beta very soon. Not long now and everyone can test the new version.

It's time for something new on Steam. Precisely because we only landed in Indonesia and China with CUR3D and are a top seller, we want to do something good for the whole world.

We won't get rich with the CUR3D Steam Edition; and we don't want that at all! But CUR3D can give so many people, so much: The name CUR3D stands above all for making non-3D printable things 3D printable. Without much effort and without complicated studies in the 3D CAD area.

Why do you need extreme, analytical feedback in 3D printing, if a part should just be 3D printable?
Everyone who works with 3D printers only wants to insert a CAD file at the front and get a 3D printed model at the back. Or?

Our former developer - Daniel <3 - laid the foundation stone for the Maker Edition. Now it's time for something new. And that's why we released the CUR3D Steam Edition (BETA).

STL, OBJ and 3MF have been part of the Maker version from the start; and more file formats are coming. But without the great commitment of our community, we would never have done it all. Everyone will really benefit from your commitment. Thank you!

Newsflash: The first screenshot of CUR3D Steam Edition: Maker has been released. This shows the file formats STL, 3MF and OBJ for everyone.



Already in our last release candidate of the version without Steam, the two new file formats were included. We also integrated the Theme Editor into the Maker Edition.

For sad reasons our last update is unfortunately very long ago.
Meanwhile, a lot has happened in CUR3D (without Steam). Since our worldwide Steam customers, also in Indonesia and China, are very close to our hearts, we will release a new update in the very near future: CUR3D Maker Edition (with Steam) becomes CUR3D Steam Edition!

CUR3D Steam Edition (short: CUR3D SE) does more: CUR3D SE always contains the latest core of CUR3D and at the same time as the regular version without Steam. Furthermore, CUR3D Steam Edition will be expandable via DLC from the simple Maker Edition (non-commercial) to the Professional Edition (commercial). The "Permission for commercial use" DLC will be replaced by the Elements DLC.
