During this period, the game world will be temporarily closed, and game matchmaking will be disabled around 07:45. Additionally, comprehensive maintenance and backup of the account database will be performed. Please notice that the maintenance time may change based on specific work conditions. We kindly ask all players to plan the game time accordingly.

3 .Tactics System Adjustments:
In Gameplay Lab mode, the Armor System and Tactics System can now coexist. In this mode, you can freely combine armor attributes and tactical strategies to test various combat combinations.
The Tactics Library for all heroes has been reduced to 10 entries. The system-recommended loadouts have been adjusted to 1 set.
All hero-related tactical skills have been removed.
4 .Hero HUD Display Optimization: Added hero name display to the right of the hero portrait on the battlefield. For Inherited Heroes, the original hero's name is additionally displayed below for easier distinction.
5 .Adjusted the selectable heroes at the 20,000 YP tier in the cumulative recharge event.
6 .Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug during the All Heroes Free period where duplicate heroes (involving Qin Qiong, Deng Ai, Arthur) appeared during the hero filter and search phase in Legion 5v5 Ranked matches. After this maintenance update, the "Mount & Blade Festival: All Heroes Free" event will be reopened and extended until December 4th, 23:59.
Fixed a bug in Event Center-Profit-Daily Sigh in that prevented normal collection of daily rewards. The check-in function will fully resume normal operation the day after the update. After this maintenance update, all players will be compensated with 15 days of check-in rewards.
Fixed a bug where the strikethrough price was not displayed in the Battle Pass purchase interface when Battle Pass Vouchers were present in the Warehouse.
Fixed a bug with Wang Yangming's skill "\[Flying Crow Rocket]" where the first fire ring would disappear when the second fire ring was generated.
Fixed a bug with Chiyome Mochizuki's legion where shurikens could not be fully thrown within the skill's duration.
Fixed a bug where Octavian's tent could be summoned inside the city through the gate, allowing the killing of gate-guarding officers.
Fixed a bug causing a large number of horse corpse models to appear in the Drill Grounds.
Fixed a bug with Tomoe Gozen's accessories "Blue Moon Flag" and "Crimson Dusk Flag" where they were displayed at her feet.
Fixed a bug where, on very high graphics settings, the model of Sith Soldiers equipped with the "Shadow of the Quicksand" skin would not render when near Xerxes.
Fixed a bug where Zhao Yun's helmet was missing its tassel when using the "Soaring Dragon General" skin.
Fixed a bug where clicking "Send Battle Info" for Caesar's Inherited Hero, Calpurnia, would cause an abnormal system prompt.
Fixed a bug in the hero interface where the name of Trajan's cloak "Gate of the Divine Court" was displayed incorrectly.
Fixed a bug where firecracker sounds were present in the big world city.

First of all, we want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined the recent Steam Next Fest (SNF) and showed such incredible support for The Midnight Walkers.
Today, we have a difficult announcement to share.
The release schedule has been postponed by approximately two months.
The new release date is now set for January 29, 2026 (PST: January 28, 2026).
We deeply apologize for the delay in communicating this update.
The development team has carefully reviewed all feedback from both the Steam Next Fest and the July Tech Test.
After assessing the remaining time and the scale of work required, we concluded that we need more development time to properly reflect key feedback, tune gameplay, and improve overall stability.
During the October SNF, we focused on introducing new content and features. However, this also meant we couldn’t dedicate enough time to fine-tuning gameplay balance and polish.
As the director, I take full responsibility for not meeting the expectations of some of our players and take this feedback seriously.
The recent playtests allowed us to verify server stability, and we’ve already fixed an issue where certain sessions would abruptly close as if the server had shut down.
We also resolved numerous bugs and crash issues, while continuing to work on client-side optimization.
Beyond that, we are reinforcing anti-cheat and abnormal play detection systems to ensure a fair experience in Early Access.
Appropriate reward and response solutions are also being prepared.
Our top priority remains improving the game’s overall quality and sincerely implementing your feedback into the build.
Here are the main areas we’re focusing on during this extended development period:

There’s still much we haven’t shown you yet, but we’re determined to meet and hopefully exceed your expectations.

Fixed a bug where the game would not progress after the ghost appeared in front of the door and the door opened.
(The game previously required the player to be looking at the ghost that appears in front of the door for the sequence to continue. Due to a bug in that requirement, we have removed the check and changed the behavior so the game now progresses automatically after a short delay.)
