in our 8th Early Access content update, we're introducing new modules of the Passthrough type.
Also, Steam Deck and Controller support should finally be restored and should work better than ever! Thank you for your patience with this one. It was tricky to find what broke there, but we managed to fix it.

LOOT TABLES:
New Loot Tier "Scrap" Bronze rating now gives modules from "scrap" tier, which are of pretty bad durability or are highly situational. This is not the final iteration of the loot tables, but I'm trying to differentiate the uncommon / common tables a bit more. Your player data helps immensely for analyzing your module picks, so thanks for keeping data collection activated while playing!
Rarity Shifts Grav. Vacuumizer is now uncommon (from rare) Disassembler is now uncommon (from rare) Paint Bucket Universal is now uncommon (from rare) Merger Factory is now uncommon (from rare)
Toggled Max. Capacity Enhancer now comes with Replicating in Uncommon
Colored Paint Buckets are now common (from uncommon) Wind-Up Shroom is now common (from uncommon) Soul Sensor is now common (from uncommon)
BUGFIXES:
Fixed hard lock in tutorial
Gamepad and Steam Deck should now work better than ever
Triggers on beginning of turn can now be resolved manually. Vault modules will no longer trigger before storage inductors

KNOWN BUGS (that I still didn't manage to fix this week):
Saving in camp rerolls jack colors in shop.
Sometimes a module's tooltip doesn't disappear normally
Sometimes the collider of a toggled module gets deactivated so you can't click it to toggle
Steam Achievements are still a bit messy
Game crashes when exiting after a longer play session

This week we have been working on making the dirt look and flow better in buckets and beds. In that department we have also been working on alot of tweaking to make it handle better.
Improved the visual part of the dirt
The vehicle equipment and repair stuff have also gotten a few improvments and fixes, Now each type of equipment has its own category and that was a big improvment over how it was

The Tunnler is also getting a big rework to make it function better and make it easier to produce good clean tunnels with, it will now have the option to store the dirt it digs and that along with a couple other changes will make it much more useful!

For Game Crashes: Please zip the crash report folder and include it as an attachment in your email. You can find the crash report folder at C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\OutOfOre\Saved\Crashes (copy and paste this path into your file browser and zip the content).
Email Format:
Subject: Brief description of the issue.
Email Body: System Information: (Optional, but helpful) Include your device, OS, graphics card, etc. Bug Description: What's going wrong? Be as detailed as possible. Steps to Reproduce: Guide us on how to see the issue ourselves. Videos/Screenshots are greatly appreciated!

We want to give you an update on how things are going. We are currently trying to fix one of the last bugs that are evading us (one specific crash when quitting the game) which is pretty annoying. It is nothing that would break the game, but we want to present you with a clean and smooth game experience even during the launch.
We have been teasing the release in previous posts quite a bit and to be completely transparent, some hiccups happened. We could push through them and probably release the game with them, but it is not an approach we want to take. As a "compensation" for a bit delayed release. We will showcase the main menu UI that is currently in our game. Bear in mind we will be taking feedback and if some upgrades will be suggested, we will gladly incorporate them in further updates.
If everything goes right, the next news will contain the release date and roadmap for you to look at so be sure to wishlist and follow the game on Steam or follow us on social media so you don't miss this information!
