DEADBOOT will have you dying a lot, and it's important that each new run feels fresh and interesting. So in the last month we've been working on expanding our combat arenas and environments, and adding new tech to keep things interesting, and keep you thinking on your feet!
Level layouts are dynamically generated, including enemy spawns, item placements, room-connections, and more.
Inside each room, hazards, covers and layouts swap out on the fly, and keep you thinking fast!
The further you get into a run, the more challenges will be thrown at you. Rooms requiring precise movement, quick reactions, or a challenging gauntlet with a strong power-up as a reward.
As you progress, you'll expand your kit of upgrades, and build your play-style around them. Dual wield, double-jump or explosive kicks, to name a few! Complete specific challenges to unlock even stronger upgrades to find in your next run!
So! That's a quick rundown on how levels with work in the game! We couldn't be more excited to share what we're working on with you, and we're working every day towards getting a first playtest ready! More to come on that in the near future! Until then, make sure to join our discord to stay up-to-date!

Here’s the full list of updates straight from the Ninja Party devs — new modes, reworked battle mechanics, fresh quests, and the long-awaited Summon Portals with guaranteed rewards.
Ninja Path:
Ninja Path progress has been reset, but all previously earned rewards are kept.
The new Ninja Path brings more valuable rewards — rank higher in battles to earn them.
The more you play, the more experienced you become — now reflected through new titles along the Ninja Path.
Summon Portals:
You’ve been asking how to get the Lucky Hammer skin or that cool ninja — now you can, through Summon Portals.
Collect Summon Stones on the Ninja Path and in other activities. Every 10 summons guarantees a valuable reward.
Party Pass:
Seasonal quests are gone.
Daily quests are now available without time limits.
Premium Pass holders get one additional daily quest.
To refresh quests, complete all 3 (or 4 with Premium Pass).
Battle System:
A new, powerful jump attack has been added for the Giant Sword.
The Bazooka, Shadow Bomb, and Dynamite have been reworked — dodging no longer grants invulnerability against explosions. Time your moves or get blasted back.
Ninjas now hold their weapons tight — you’ll need to eliminate them to make them drop it.
Many small fixes have been implemented, paving the way for future major battle updates.
Controls and Camera:
Increased camera field of view.
Improved responsiveness in multiple states — it’s now easier to aim mid-air attacks, and control returns faster after knockouts or wall hits.
Added camera sensitivity settings.
Solo / Co-op Mode:
New mode — COINS.
New 4-player map — Hexagon.
Updated rumble schedule: Drone mode with laser attacks.
Rumbles now rotate every 4 hours.
Story:
Soon you’ll learn more about the world of Ninja Party — but not in this update.
For now, your mission is to restore the legendary Dojo and earn rewards along the way.
Complete major missions, unlock and upgrade ninjas. In future updates, this process will include dialogues and reveal more of the Ninja Party world.
Hello everyone!
The first version of the game began as a game jam project a few years ago. Today, the final, much better and developed version is coming to Steam! Thanks for playing the demo during the pre-release phase!
All the best!
We regularly update our timelines with some of the more "explicitly" NSFW content over at our Discord and Twitter.
Hi everyone!
We’re back on track with another week’s progress report… well, almost. Here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve been working on lately.
---🎨----
Outlines and rendering notes have been prepared for Upside Down Pony-Suit- a new bondage-themed cut-in sequence featuring Caly suspended midair, “assisted” by robotic drones under the control of some particularly mischievous goblin technicians.
Goblins may be small, but they’ve certainly got some surprising skill. The team’s been busy editing and detailing a new cunnilingus cut-in for an upcoming fight scene.
----✍️----
The writer is back from his vacay, and now busy preparing the final dialogues and event tweaks for the Orc Dungeon storyline!
Once final adjustments are done, full focus will shift toward writing the erotic scenes for the Orc Dungeon.
He is also continuing work on outlining and refining the narrative flow for the next planetary story i.e Lost World arc.
----🖥️----
Development work still remains on temporary pause on account of our lead coder wrapping up his personal affairs. He is due back next week to resume work as usual!
-----------
And that wraps up this week’s report!
Things are steadily moving forward, and we’re eager to dive back into full content production once the team’s complete again. Thanks as always for your patience and support!
Kind Regards,
Cursed-Atelier Team
