We’ve pushed a small update today with some technical changes and early groundwork for future mobile support!

🆕 New Features / Technical Additions
🔧 Crash Debug Info Added:
We’ve implemented new debug logging to help track down the causes of game crashes. This will help us improve client stability and find issues faster. If you experience a crash, please report it via the support form or Discord — the new logs will help us a lot!

🔁 Changes
🏝️ Map Update – Dune (ID 18):
Several terrain and navigation adjustments have been made to Dune Map ID 18 to improve pathfinding, reduce stuck zones, and optimize performance for players farming or questing in that area.

🛠️ Under-the-Hood Improvements
📱 Mobile Engine Preparation (Unity):
We've begun backend updates in the Unity engine to lay the foundation for future mobile support (Android + iOS).
These internal updates do not impact gameplay yet, but are important steps toward a full mobile version of Inferna.

Black Annis - Man the Barricades

Firstly we'd like to give a big thank you to everyone that has played Black Annis so far. With our latest update we have completed localisation.

The Interface and subtitles are now available in the following languages:

  • English

  • Portuguese (Brazil)

  • Polish

  • Japanese

  • Simplified Chinese

  • Spanish

  • Korean

  • Italian

  • French

  • German

  • Norwegian

  • Scots Gaelic

  • Welsh

Along with localisation we have also added a number of quality of life improvements and bug fixes as well as little surprise in the credits for players that complete the game.

It’s rare that we talk about the patch after the next one this early. In fact, this probably is the first time!  But this is a special case.

The Health & Stability Patch (V1.11) - arriving 13 January - is our first dedicated “health” update, focused on addressing the issues that most impact your game experience. We’ve heard your feedback: some things need attention before we push further. We have a dev-side shortlist, but we also want your input. We’re announcing this early so you have time to submit requests - and so we have time to work through them.

Submit your suggestions in our Discord’s dedicated forum channel - perfect chance to join if you haven’t already. Once there, head to #patch-1-11-have-your-say to share your ideas, and please read the posting guidelines before you post.

New Demo Update: Conquest Tactics Joins the Ancient Costume Game Festival

We’re excited to announce that Conquest Tactics: Realm of Sin is officially part of Steam’s Ancient Costume Game Festival from November 3rd to 17th.

This event embraces titles that feature historical and fantasy-inspired costumes, armors, and worlds and our dark tactical realm fits right in.

After a wonderful run during Steam Next Fest, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who played the demo, shared feedback, and supported us along the way. ❤️

To celebrate, we’ve updated the demo with new features, balance tweaks, and a bunch of refinements based on your feedback.

  • Rebalanced several units to make their roles more engaging and meaningful.

  • Adjusted the difficulty curve to make early battles smoother and more accessible.

  • Reworked Threat Level penalties to provide a better sense of progression across difficulties.

🎮 Control & Interface
  • Added a new commanding control system

    • Click directly on a Playable Tile to move your unit

    • Click on a targeted enemy to deploy and start combat immediately

  • Added a new Camera Sensitivity setting so you can fine-tune how responsive the camera is to mouse movement.

  • Improved Command Point icons to make them easier to notice.

  • Added smoother screen transitions when loading or changing scenes.

🕹️ UI & Feedback
  • Reworked the Result Screen with more detailed run data and player stats.

  • The demo ending now leads directly to the new result screen, and you can now earn a Crown after finishing the demo.

  • Added Ability Notifications to show when a unit activates its ability.

  • Added new effects and notifications for Backdoor Protection.

🐛 Bug Fixes & Community Feedback
  • Fixed many bugs reported by our amazing community.

  • Applied community feedback to improve the game’s overall polish and stability.
