Fixed a critical issue where this car would fail to load into Sessions.
🚨 Officers,
In the spirit of one of our previous posts, where we presented our current roadmap and provided some intel on the ability of suspects to shoot at SWAT officers through doors, we would today like to discuss a different feature of SWAT Commander — swapping ammo types.
We'd like to encourage our officers to pay closer attention to a certain option native to the equipment configuration screen, where you can specify the different weapons and pieces of equipment with which your team will be deployed on a single-player mission or specify the equipment for yourself as you join a co-op session.
You can access this screen and modify your equipment loadout either directly from the main menu or while you're configuring your selected mission.
Fig. 1 — SWAT Commander's equipment screen, the cursor is highlighting the weapon attachment configuration option
In this screen, we find all options for configuring your personnel's equipment — the main weapon, the sidearm, their attachments found under the cog icon (fig. 1), special devices (Tactical Mirror, Injector, Ballistic Shield, etc.), grenades, and armor.
One of these configuration options tends to fly under the radar and it is the option to swap out your standard-issue full metal jacket ammunition.
Fig. 2 — AP and JHP ammo now selected on the Equipment screen, weapon stats affected
It's important to note that you can, for all your weapons, replace the JHP ammo with the amor-piercing (AP) and jacketed hollow point (JHP) rounds. Why? Because, as you can see from the stats in fig. 2, they affect your weapon's capabilities significantly.
While offering little armor penetration, JHP ammo boasts increased damage and stopping power, best utilized against unarmored targets for extra effectiveness.
Conversely, AP ammo boosts your weapon's armor penetration but it does not increase its ability to dish out damage.
All right, if there are clear benefits to using the alternative ammo types, how do we know when to use which one?
Fig. 3 — The mission briefing screen, focused on the text 'Details' tab
By studying the mission's briefing of course! The briefing considers a text description of the mission on which you're about to deploy, the timeline of events, and the dossiers of suspects you will encounter in your effort to complete its objectives.
This information will serve you well in selecting all of your officers' equipment, including the ammo type as you make your judgment, based on the type of suspects you'll encounter and the armor they'll be wearing.
With the mini-tutorial concluded, we'd now like to present you with a sneak preview of our upcoming Customization Update.
With it, SWAT Commander will enable you to modify a wide range of properties that affect your playthrough of a mission, including the weather conditions, the type and number of suspects and civilians, their behavior, and many more elements.
We'll have more details at your disposal when we're ready to roll out the update.
We're eager to find out how you complete your missions once you can modify so many of their various aspects. Stand by for further updates!
Over and out,
SWAT Commander Team
Step by step, I'm improving the game and getting it ready for its Early Access release. Today, I'm excited to present the updated UI — along with the official release date!
Let’s be honest — the UI hasn’t been the strongest part of the game. The Main Menu, in particular, was in desperate need of some polish and redesign.
Well… it finally happened!
Up until now, the menu looked like this:
Not anymore! Behold — the new, much cooler-looking Main Menu:
You can check out more comparisons in the newest trailer, now available on the Steam page here:
Updated screenshots have also been added!
I’ve been waiting a long time to finally write this 😄
The Early Access release date for Lords of the Void is: December 11, 2025
The Steam team has just confirmed that the Early Access version is good to go — so there should be no delays!
Until that day, I’ll be making some final tweaks to the campaigns and maybe fixing a bug or two here and there.
The new UI has also been added to the Demo, which is available on Steam.
Currently, I have no plans to add anything else to the Demo, so let’s consider this its final update.
As a bonus, I’ve added two heroes from the Early Access version to the Demo:
Sowizrzal — a magician hero from Chrama
Officer — a ranged hero from Nest
Both can be found and rescued in the Prison Ruin.
Nothing more for the Demo — but there’s still work to be done on the Early Access version.
As I mentioned earlier, I’ll be doing some polishing and fixes. In addition, I need to integrate a few Steam features into the game.
Here are the three Steam functionalities I plan to implement:
Steam Cloud Saves
(I’m quite happy with how I handled save files — they’re small and they might fully go to the Cloud)
Steam Achievements (There will be 35 achievements available)
Remote Play
(Standard online multiplayer is also on my roadmap, but I’ll only add it if there’s enough interest from players 🙂)

The moment you've been waiting for.. Hoop Land Steam Edition has finally entered Early Access!
Just a couple notes before you decide to purchase:
For the best experience, it’s recommended to use a mouse and keyboard for menu navigation until full gamepad support is implemented.
Steam Workshop integration is currently in development and will be available shortly after release.
Aside from those two things, the game in its current state includes all features available in the mobile version including Career Mode, Franchise Mode, Commissioner Mode, and full league customization.
Hoop Land has also just received a massive Version 1.09.5 update, which has been in development since the middle of June. This update adds a ton of new features and quality-of-life improvements to make the game experience more enjoyable. A full patch list can be viewed in-game.
And lastly, my vision for Hoop Land is still not yet complete. You can expect many more updates and improvements to come throughout Early Access based on your feedback.
I truly appreciate all your support and passion throughout development. I hope you enjoy the game and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

The Lonesome Guild comes out TOMORROW! We figured it was about time you learned a bit more about your unlikely allies and soon-to-be fearsome friends! So without further ado, I present to you, The Lonesome Guild...
A cheerful tinkerer, DaVinci is a Bumblebun who inspires all (apart from Mr. Fox!) with his optimism. He’s a Jack of All Trades, bringing utility to the team with both magical and physical damage, as well as healing!
Mr. Fox is a grumpy ol’ guy, constantly cynical after the loss of his son. He’s a bit of a glass cannon in combat, with both range and melee DPS. He can also boost the attack speed of the party – let's get this over with!
Larger-than-life Ran Tran Trum acts tough to fulfil his protector role and tries not to let anyone get close. He’s a tanky boi who excels at engagement and taunts and provides shields to his allies. Oh, and he’s pretty good with his huge hammer arm too.
Magical Mauhen is a lonely prankster who uses tricks to keep people at a distance. He doesn’t want to be anywhere near... well, anyone. Even in combat, he likes to magically attack and heal from range. He can also apply debuffs and remove enemies’ damage resistances.
After having her tail severed as punishment for leaving her home, Chaska doesn’t quite know what to do with her freedom nor know how to fit in with anyone else. She’s looking for a place she can call home. She’s a very aggressive and in-your-face brawler and grants lifesteal to the party.
Sarangalyn is an old witch, a warrior whose end is near. A tough cookie on the outside, she’s quite soft on the inside – mentally and physically! She’s a ranged magic user who poisons enemies and helps reduce party cooldowns.
A lonely Ghost wakes up at the start of The Lonesome Guild with no memories. He can’t physically interact with anybody, but he can possess (in a friendly way!) them to make them stronger and imbue them with his Ghost Power.
We hope you’re excited to play The Lonesome Guild!
