Horror Legends - October Games
Net-code rework.
We just finished a massive update to the game's net-code, improving stability when playing with other players from other countries. It also improves how the game handles AI like Gourd, Cops, and the Harbinger.

New Cast Member!
Security Shawn.
Armed with a Stun Gun. Security Shawn is great for stopping a Legend in his tracks mid chase. In-force those curfews people!

New Items
Stun Gun.
This medium range non-lethal pistol is perfect for zapping away a Legend’s stamina to make a quick escape!


Machete.
A sharp bladed weapon that can cut through Gourds like butter.


Map Updates.
Dream Realm:
  • Now has less dead ends and more breaching paths.
  • Added rafters to the platforming room.

Farmhouse:
  • Improved Punkie Jack-O-Lantern spawns.
  • More random Ammo spawns.
  • Updated Navmesh so AI's don't walk through Hay bales.

Cabin:
  • A slightly increased the ambient light.

Balance Changes.
Characters
  • Angela Crass's crouch movement speed has been moderately increased..
  • Angela Crass's walking footstep volume have been moderately lowered.
  • Stevie Lint's run speed has been slightly reduced.
  • Punkie's Crouch Speed has been increased.
  • Killer Keith's HP has been increased by 50 points.
  • Killer Keith's Walk speed has been slightly reduced.
  • Killer Keith's Toxic Chemicals now do more damage and now last a lot longer.
  • Killer Keith's Rebar now goes farther and does more damage.
  • Killer Keith's Rebar draw speed had been lowered.
  • Killer Keith's Rebar reload speed has been drastically increased.
  • Human Punkie’s Regen now regens 50 Stamina with an additional 10 HP for 5 seconds.
  • Human Punkie’s Regen charges have been reduced to 20 from 30.
  • Legend’s Nightvision’s range has been drastically reduced.

Items
  • Shotgun's max clip size has been reduced to 4.
  • Beer now slowly reduces stamina for 7 seconds after you drink it.

Objectives
  • Glyph Sound radius has been reduced by 50%.

Bug Fixes
  • Nick Scab's reveal outline now outlines his entire body.
  • Objective sounds should no longer play when game loads.
  • Consumable items like Beer and Candy can no longer be dropped when they are empty.
  • Auto Respawn is no longer interrupted by chat.
  • Fixed Melee weapon charging animation bug.
  • Night Vision will no longer turn on when using chat.

Just a little information for our community - more comprehensive information comes in a few days.

Hello everyone,

after a very difficult time and comparing all our thoughts.
We can announce a return to active development.

There will be many changes, but we believe most will be well received.

During this period of development, however, we will not be able to make small updates, since all changes take a little more time and above all, it is not possible releasing is as small updates, but only as one big.

But we will gradually and actively inform you (videos, pictures, and progress).

At this time we can only say that it will be something like a remaster of the whole game.

PS: In fact, we have been working on key things for almost a month. But until we were sure it would work, we didn't want to promise anything, and we kept everything in a state of paused development.

The closed-beta week-end for Kickstarter and IndieGoGo backers has started !

We've been focusing on visual polish, added new effects, and improved many areas of the gameplay this time around.

There's still a lot more to do in the next two months until we're ready to release on Steam, but we're slowly getting there !

The free camera is now made by the main camera, the way to switch to the classic fixed camera remains the same.
Also added the ability to adjust the volume of music in the game with the keys "+" and "-". Like any other buttons, you can reassign them to the game launcher.
In addition, illumination in foggy weather is now slightly inferior to illumination in clear weather.
Fixed the position of pop-up labels when collecting resources in the free camera mode.
In the community group appeared a brief guide to the game in Russian and English.

For those who cannot enter game, you can enter our beta version by following steps:
1. Right click game, and then click "Properties"
2. Choose the last label "BETAS"
3. Input the Code "yueyuanzhiye" and click "Check Code"
You will see a notice: Access code Correct, private beta "public-beta" is now available.
4. Then in "Select the beta you would like to opt into", Choose public_beta_公开测试
5. Close Properties, and then play game.

Rolling Line - Franks


I've just gotten back from a trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil!
Hence why there was a bit of a big gap since the last update.
But now that I'm back I can release the Color comp winners chosen train, which is the British Rail Sprinter!

This is the first proper commuter train to be added to Rolling Line, and it features some basic interior detail, opening doors, a two-tone horn, and even interior lighting!



The Sprinter also features new engine audio and a dynamic "click-clack" sound when passing over track connections (which so far is unique to this locomotive).

Custom liveries will be coming for this new loco some time soon in a separate future update.



This update also features a great improvement to the speed system for trains!
There use to be a common problem where entering/exiting trains would cause the speed to change, and it was also very difficult to get trains to match each others speed. This has all been fixed!

With the new speed system you can set a trains speed, leave the locomotive, and it will continue to speed up/slow down to reach the desired speed.

Trains also now have a "acceleration" and "deceleration" value, so larger steam engines are slower to speed up and locomotives like the shunters have faster acceleration and handling.

These speed effects are only active IN MINIATURE, if you are driving trains with the controller in large scale then they will behave like real model trains and stop/start nice and snappy.

QuickMods now also have two properties you can change to adjust these new values called "accelerationSpeed" and "decelerationSpeed" (more information on the new quickMod features in the official steam guide). QuickMods can now also use the new Sprinter audio and new horns as well.
