Important Notes for Modders & Mod Users:
In this update, the game has been migrated from Unreal Engine 5.2 to 5.4. This means that mods will be broken until repackaged again in UE 5.4. It is highly advised to remove all mods before launching this latest update to make sure the game is running smoothly and to avoid any unnecessary crashes until most mods have been updated! Make sure to join the official Discord server to get additional modding support, hang out with the community, play together, and have a good time!

We’re just a couple of weeks from our large February update, NIGHTMARE, and we wanted to give you a first glimpse at some of the content coming in the update.
Weapon Attachments
When we launched No More Room in Hell 2 in Early Access on October 22, community members who were tracking the progress of development while still under Lever Games noticed a number of features missing from what they expected at launch, one of those being weapon attachments.
When Lever Games joined Torn Banner a ton of realignment on priorities took place as we together determined how to create a unique experience in co-op zombie horror. This meant determining which features would make it in time for “day one” of early access release, versus which features would arrive over the course of Early Access. Both groups (now united as one dev team) had big aspirations for the project, and they had to be balanced against our hopes to get an early version of the game into Community hands and start iterating on the game with feedback. Some features (including weapon attachments) fell off of our EA launch day feature list, often regrettably so, but we’re excited for the feature to go live with 0.3.0!
"Back in the day, our original goal with weapon attachments was to give players the choice and flexibility of how they wanted to handle firearms as an extension of their character. In nmrih1, we wanted to have alternative sights for firearms like the M16A4 and the 85 Deluxe, so we had to make new versions of those guns with different sights. These options let players have choice and agency in their use of firearms, but it wasn’t the solution we really wanted. In our earlier version of nmrih2, we extended that idea to allow players to choose for themselves what best suited their playstyle and approach. We were inspired by what other games had done for on-the-go weapon customization and it felt like a natural extension of nmrih's approach to both player choice and realism. Since then, the system also received a UI overhaul compared to the original version. Not only is this system easy to use on the fly mid-game, but it is also flexibly designed which will allow us on the development side to expand the assortment of attachments easily with future updates."

No More Room in Hell 2, specifically in the later levels (more on that below) is intended to be a terrifyingly difficult game. Still, it’s important that we give you weapons to fight back against the horde. Weapon Attachments are intended to buff your arsenal of weapons by upgrading up to 3 slots - rail, muzzle, & sight. 0.3.0 is just the start to attachments, and similar to weapons, we expect to launch more from update to update.
Other Features
Our Welcome to 2025 Responders! Newspost mentioned changes to Nightmare mode and adding more replayability to Power Plant, big iterations of both are coming in 0.3.0!
Nightmare mode was intended to add to the challenge in a player’s late-game runs, where winning felt like a giant accomplishment and losing was expected, but not frustrating. We feel like the current iteration of nightmare doesn’t accomplish those goals, so we’re very excited about the changes to this difficulty mode that are coming in 0.3.0. We’re also using the opportunity to raise the fear factor while running a round of nightmare, but you’ll have to wait until closer to launch to hear more on that one.
One of the major opportunities that No More Room in Hell 2 has is replayability. Last week we talked about the 2 maps coming in our 0.2.4 Roadmap Update Newspost, but we’re also working on making players more excited to hop back onto Power Plant. Changes coming in 0.3.0 will diversify the ways in which you get into the Power Plant, and what happens inside.

The Features Update (Title Update #9) will release for EA SPORTS FC 25 in the coming days, and it’s going to address a handful of issues while enabling us to release a number of new updates in the near future, including:
Increase of active Evolution slots to 2.
New OVR Search Filter in Football Ultimate Team.
Progress around players getting wins when Football Ultimate Team matches end early.
Slightly updated Starter Packs for new Football Ultimate Team clubs.
We saw your positive reactions to the previous Gameplay Refresh Update and want to make sure we’re maintaining a consistent gameplay experience, so we are not making any changes to the balance of the game in this update.
We’re addressing a stability issue during throw ins, and updating our Simulation Mode slider presets to better pair offline play with some of the tuning changes from the past update. We’re continuing to review your feedback around gameplay and will make further updates based on it in the future.
Active Evolution Increase And Updated Starter Packs
We’ve heard your feedback about wanting to do more Evolutions, and we’ll soon be increasing how many active Evolutions you can have at any given time to 2.
Additionally, we’re going to be slightly updating Starter Packs for brand new Football Ultimate Team clubs following a near-future Server Release. Of course, new Clubs will still need to build towards their dream squad like before, but the updated Packs are more reflective of the current point in the season.
New OVR Search Filter In Football Ultimate Team
We continue to update Football Ultimate Team search filters whenever we can based on your feedback, and with TU #9 we’re adding the ability to search by OVR ranges in your Club, SBCs, Rush, and Evolutions.

Updated Match Outcomes In Football Ultimate Team
We have heard the community's frustration about not receiving a win when an opponent leaves a tied Football Ultimate Team match.
This is a complex space, and we want to ensure fair competitive play. When we change how players get wins, draws, or losses, exploits may occur, impacting fair play, so we must be careful about how we make these changes.
With that said, we want to try to make progress here, so in an upcoming Server Release, we’ll update how some online match outcomes are determined.
Here is the change:
Introduced new match outcome logic that can result in you receiving a match win when opponents quit during a tied scoreline.
This change applies to solo Ultimate Team Division Rivals and Champions play, as well as Ultimate Team Division Rivals co-op play.
There are a couple of key elements to call out about this change.
First, this will only apply when a player uses the Quit option from the in-game Pause Menu when one of the following conditions are met:
45 or more minutes have passed.
The quitting player concedes a penalty kick.
The quitting player has received a red card.
Second, there is a limit to how many times a player will be able to receive a win in this scenario. The change includes a cooldown period, and you’ll be informed in-game with a pop-up message when that limit has been reached. When released, this will be set to 5 in a 24 hour period, which resets at 00:00 GMT daily.
Our aim, as always, is to provide a safe and fun environment free from cheating. Therefore, what is listed here, including the daily limits, may change based on our analysis and/or observations that these changes are negatively impacting the player experience.
While our goal is to eventually be able to address all ways of leaving a tied match, such as a disconnect, we need to first monitor how this change is being used by players and how it’s impacting the Ultimate Team experience.
We understand that this change will not resolve all the cases where the community has expressed frustration. However, we want to be able to make progress here, and our learnings from this initial change will help inform any further potential changes.

Hello everyone, as you know, the alpha & beta is now free and with it being free, the interest in the game has increased considerably. i am pleased with the interest you show and i hope i can win your liking, I constantly check the page to see if there is a new comment or a post.
My compulsory military service starts on 3 April, i will not be able to see your comments and posts for 6 months and therefore i will not have the chance to respond to any of them, i apologise in advance for this situation.
Apart from that, i had to remove the dlc called choose difficulty from the steam store page due to an error i detected, those who added the dlc before can still continue to use it, but unfortunately it is not possible for me to fix the error because i explained that i lost the source files of the game in one of my previous announcements, i leave the link to the announcement below:
