Welcome again, warriors! While you were out there kinda busy fighting to the death we weren’t idle either: we’ve been working hard in a new update for Warriors: Rise to Glory! for the amusement of the Mad Emperor Ayziz and his crowd of spectators. Today we release Update 0.54, where you will find what you need to entertain your public as they deserve: with great amounts of mindless violence and silly moves! Update 0.54 adds two new execution animations, for the fiercest warriors who never forfeit a life. Inspired by anime action movies, this totally over-the-top animations will blow your enemies’ minds – and quite literally!
Also, this patch adds up to 12 animations for you to entertain the crowds in combat. Taunt everyone by banging your shield, raise your sword to rally their hearts to your side or shake-shake-shake your booty – whatever it takes for them to love you and lend you a hand in combat! We have also added brand new metagame tutorials and something that you had asked for: a Reset Progress option. We’ve got something for German warriors as well: full German language support, so you can mock your opponents in your own mother language! And finally, of course, tons of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Check the full patch notes below!
Let us know what you think of the new executions and entertaining movements in our Discord server or our social media channels (see below). Good luck in the arena, warriors!

We know you haven't heard from us since the release of patch 0.44 (which added controller support, shields and more). We have been really busy working on patch 0.45. At first it was supposed to be a simple patch, but as the Gavra way - we just can't settle for small things :)
In patch 0.45, we are going to include cool new features we have been working on. The main features are:
New "Rally the crowd!" Action:
For sometime you, our players have been telling us that the crowd needs to be more involved and have heavier impact in combats. So we listened, and added a cool new action - "Rally the crowd!" In patch 0.45 you can command the crowd to "Boo" your opponent, throwing bananas at him and some other stuff (we don't want to spoil yet).
So how it works? when entertaining the crowd, you gain the normal crowd excitement, and with it, crowd bars. When you reach enough bars the action is unlocked. The more crowd bars you have, the higher the action level is.
level 1 - throw bananas, lightly drain your opponent crowd excitement and lightly damage him.
level 2 - throw bananas, medium drain your opponent crowd excitement, medium damage him and root him to his current grid for 2 turns.
level 3 - throw bananas, Heavy drain your opponent crowd excitement, Heavy damage him and stun him for 1 turn.
With this action, the crowd is more involved, and getting crowd excitement is becoming more vital. We hope you will like it!
Survival Leaderboard:
In patch 0.45 we are adding the "Survival Leaderboard" that will appear in the main menu. Whenever you finish a run in the Survival mode, your score will be uploaded to the global leaderboard. Letting you compete in global rankings! you can see the top 5 players and where you are standing against them.
This feature lays the first stone towards multiplayer and online components!
Hall of Fame:
We added a new Hall of Screen in which you can see every player who finished the final boss (Currently Azar - Molded by fire). So when the patch is out - look for your name!
And of course, we are adding many more improvements (warriors can have a different color for the hair and beard), balance changes and bug fixes.
Patch 0.45 is going to be released next week, so stay tuned for news!
Until then - have fun and try to keep your nuts safe.
Greetings barve warriors! As we announced a couple of weeks ago, we at Gavra Games were hard at work preparing the next update, Patch 0.44, with some exciting new features and content for you. The most important one is gamepad controls: from now on, Warriors: Rise to Glory! fully supports gamepads. Local couch multiplayer has a whole new meaning when you can actually sit on your couch with a friend, a gamepad, and the intention of kicking some asses to please the crowd.
We’re adding some new shields to the game (spiked, dark elf, Roman, Samurai, and Homeless shields), as well as a 3rd level tier for a lot of skills. That on top of many fixes, changes, customization, and quality-of-life additions. Check out the full patch notes below. We hope you like this new update; don’t hesitate to join as on our Discord server to comment all the new content and tell us about your experience playing with a gamepad, and remember that we’re open to receiving feedback for future updates. Good luck in the arena!
Welcome, warriors! Sit down and relax. I said relax, guys – yeah, that includes your swords, axes, bows, and other tools of destruction, alright? Bloodthirsty Danny, would you be so kind as to move your knife away from that guy’s throat? I would prefer if you do not paint the floor of this tavern with blood, thank you very much. OK, now that everyone's civil and nice, we can start.
We are working very hard here at Gavra Games to bring you a new update to Warriors: Rise to Glory!, and we’re happy to announce that it’s getting closer and closer. Today we want to reveal some of the new stuff included in next update. First and foremost: we are implementing gamepad controls! You will be able to play the whole game with your gamepad, so you will be able to entertain the crowds with your fighting skills while lying on the couch with a cold drink of your choice!
That’s not all, of course. We are also adding some new shields for you to buy, equip, and fight with in the arena: spiked shields, dark elf shields, Roman shields, Samurai shields, and peasant Shields. If you have ever wondered what the hell are Romans and Samurais doing in the Indiekingdom, may I remind you that the emperor Ayziz uses his magic to bring here the best warriors from different places and times?
Finally, a lot of skills will get a 3rd level you can invest in: basically, that means that you can get more powerful in more different ways. The full list of improved skills will be revealed soon. And obviously, there will also be a lot of minor fixes and changes – we will publish the full patch notes when the time comes.
That being said, I see you guys are itchy. Looks like you can take the gladiator out of the fight but not the fight out of the gladiator. Or, well, not without cutting him in half, and that can spoil anyone’s afternoon, can’t it? Please go outside if you want to fight – Danny, what did I just tell you about your knife? You’ll have to scrub that door, yeah, you heard right! The rest of you, get the hell out of here! Remember that if you want to exchange battle tips and tricks, give ideas and suggestions for the game, or just engage with other fighters, you are invited to join us on our Discord server. Good luck in the arena!
