X3: Albion Prelude 3.0 - Shady Business is available as a FREE update to everybody who owns X3: Albion Prelude and includes support for LINUX as STEAMPLAY.

X3: Albion Prelude 3.0 - Shady Business brings three unique new plot lines and for the first time can be completely controlled with gamepads!

Egosoft is happy to announce that from today, a Japanese text translation for X3: Terran Conflict and X3: Albion Prelude is available on Steam for all users. This translation is provided with thanks to our publishing partner zoo.co.jp and should fix the problem some users were experiencing when installing the Japanese version on an account where the international version was already installed.

The Linux version of X3: Reunion has just entered public beta testing and is available to anyone owning the game.

Updates to X3: Terran Conflict (3.2c) and X3: Albion Prelude (2.5.2) have been released.

In both games, Chinese localization files have been updated. Localized achievements are now available for Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

The update 2.5.2 for X3: Albion Prelude also includes the following changes:
• Added full voice support for Russian language
• Fixed issue where many replacement fighters would spawn at shipyards (existing fighters are removed)
• Fixed issue where captured or boarded ships from war sectors may be removed later
• Fixed duration of subtitles and displayed hints in several languages
