Animallica Alpha v 3.2 is live!

Patch Notes:
  • A new animal was added: Fennec Fox;
  • 25 Easter Eggs Baskets were added in Highrose and Greenhills. Collect and use them to decorate your settlement or trade them in Corpse Harbor for a new exclusive Bunny Rabbit;
  • New decorative items were added;
  • Two armored horses can now be found in Amber Hills and Highrose;
  • Fixed a bug with the grass eraser tool;
  • Fixed a rare bug where peaceful mode would interfere with normal game mode;

Animallica Alpha v 3.1 is live!

  • A new animal was added: Jaguar;
  • A new animal was added: African Leopard;
  • A new animal was added: Persian Leopard;
  • A new animal was added: North American Cougar (called simply Cougar in Animallica);

  • Experimental: a new occlusion culling system, that should increase the FPS in most cases, was implemented. Please, help us by reporting any visual glitch that you may find;
  • The shaders for ice and small lakes/ponds were replaced;
  • A window for known issues and quick solutions to fix them was added in F1 help menu.
  • Multiple audio glitches were fixed;
  • Several animations were fixed;
  • Some materials were updated;
  • Items can now be rotated with prev/next arrow keys as well

  • Removed experimental occlusion culling system

Animallica Alpha v 3.0 is live!

Patch Notes:
  • We performed another Unity engine update that brings several optimizations and better performance;
  • The AI was completly rewritten for better performance and functionality;
  • The game files structure and compression was replaced to occupy less space and also lower the memory consumption;
  • Some models were better optimised;
  • Most of the low resolution textures were improved;
  • Kitsune Den's Map was revamped;
  • Greenhills, Nova, Akhali Desert and Corpse Harbor maps were slightly updated;
  • Shop interface was updated;

Animallica Alpha v 2.9 is live!

Patch Notes:

  • Land Base was replaced as starting location with a brand new island;
  • A new map was added: Nova;
  • Land Base and Cultsberg were updated;
  • Tutorial area and the biodome were removed from Land Base;
  • Premade animal enclosures can now be crafted in a Basic Workshop;

Hello everyone! Happy Holidays!

Animallica Alpha v 2.8 is live!

Patch Notes:

  • All the mutant spawners and spawns were replaced;
  • A flame thrower is now required to remove the mutant nests/contamination sites;
  • Peaceful mode without any mutants or mutant spawners was added (only available when starting a new game);
  • A new animal was added: Merino Sheep;
  • A new surprise animal was added;
  • Over a dozen of new mobs were added;
  • Inventory was expanded with 30 slots;
  • A Christmas Tree and gifts were added in Arpashi. We apologize for the delay, the update took longer than we expected;
  • Most of the structures now remove the grass underneath when placed;
  • New destroyable barrels with random loot inside were added;
  • Dorado, Cultsberg and Highrose were updated;
  • Combat was slightly improved;




    Notes:
  • Flamethrowers can be found in the starting facility and Land Base bunker or bought from Corpse Harbor Trader;
  • A "tool" for removing grass without placing an actual structure can be bought from Corpse Harbor;
  • The mobs in Land Base should only attack the player and ignore any animals you might have there;
  • Purple-black slime should not be found in the game anymore and we will update the Mad Man trader soon;
  • More spawners will be added in the next updates;

    HOTFIX v2.8a:
  • Fixed bug with containers that have animations

    HOTFIX v2.8b:
  • Fixed Flame Thrower, it can now be safely used
  • Fixed Take All button from settlements
  • Fixed rare bug caused by pressing the free placing button before the actual placement of the item
  • Added health bar (like the mining one) above the quick bar while using the flamethrower on spawners

  • Fixed navigation bugs in Snowridge;
  • Fixed bugged enemy spawners in Cultsberg and Akhali;

  • The interface for curing and taming the animals was remade;
  • The craftable small laboratory is now only used for curing and taming animals;
  • A new craftable chemistry table was added;
  • Fixed navigation bug around the large rocks in Arpashi;
  • Fixed a bug related with the unscalable placeble items;
  • Fixed several bugs for the planters;
  • The placeble objects that snap like fences will now remember the scale of the previous instance;

Animallica Alpha v 2.7 is live!


Patch Notes:
  • A new location was added: Highrose;
  • Three new cattle breeds were added: Devon, Montbeliarde and Lourdais;
  • A new animal was added: European Rabbit;
  • Vendor stalls can now be crafted;
  • The interface for shops was updated. Items can now be sold in shops;
  • Scalling the natural enrichments is now possible (ctrl+scroll before placing);
  • Free placement option for buildable items was added (press X to turn on or off);
  • Books can now be learned using right click;
  • Several fixes for the AI were made;



    Hotfix 2.7A:
  • Several types of gravestones can now be crafted using the Stonemasonry;
  • Replaced model for Tannery, Weaving Hut and Carpentry (old models are still in the game as alternative);
  • Slightly updated interiors for Blacksmith and Stonemasonry;
  • Several custom containers suffered a slight change in appearance;
  • All animal icons were updated;
  • Ingame time is now displayed in sleeping menu;
  • Fixed a bug with grass distance in Highrose;
  • Some food recipes now require salt; Salt can be obtained when mining certain rocks;
  • Glass can be crafted at Stonemasonry using sand and is no longer sold by traders;
  • Fixed a bug where craft station menu could not be closed with the Use button;

Animallica Alpha v 2.61 is up

Patch Notes:
  • A new animal was added: Grey Fox (two coat colors);
  • A new horse breed was added: American Draft Pony (three coat colors);
  • Three new settlements were added;
  • New placeable items were added (check the Basic Workshop, Landscapist and General Goods Vendor);
  • Several AI related bugs were fixed;
  • Most of the placeable objects can now be scaled up and down by 25%;
  • Fixed terrain tiling issues in Arpashi and Corpse Harbor;
  • The Halloween mobs were removed from the game;


    Note:
    The new mechanic for scaling objects is experimental and we are waiting for your feedback. Free placing will also be re-enabled in an upcoming hotfix.

Animallica Alpha v 2.6 is live with a bit of Halloween content

Patch Notes:
  • A new flat, empty island was added, very usefull to split your base if the old location is getting overcrowded or maybe laggy;
  • Eight new beautiful greenhouses were added (craftable at the advanced workshop);
  • Since Halloween is almost here, you can now carve those pumpkins in Jack-o'-lanterns and decorate your base for holiday;
  • A tack piano can be bought from Corpse Harbor;
  • The radar was updated with cardinal points and new icons for signal fire, horses, teleport and death location;
  • Small tweaks to player jumping were made;
  • Some of the vegetables now return more seeds;
  • Fixed several bugs for the new settlements;
  • Fixed several bugs for the new planter;
  • Fixed several bugs for the AI;

    Animallica v2.6A

  • Spooky Halloween mobs have temporary invaded the lands of Animallica. Hunt them for some cool treasures!
  • Attempted to fix the glass shader for the new orangeries;
  • Fixed the FPS drop after destroying metallic objects;
  • Re-enabled destruction on the new greenhouses and old metal spawners;
  • Several beehives were added into the world. Now you will be able to craft some candles for your carved pumpkins without owning an Apiary;
  • Several recipes were updated;
  • UI & code fixes
