Mini update, added four table strobe lights. Multiball fanfare improved with the addition of strobes and intro music. Additional audio for ball in launch lane/launch ball.

We will continue to update tasks with better fanfare audio and lighting.

VFX: Added flame vfx for summoned entity. Lightning vfx for left and right drains.

Attendant: Call attendant functionality now implemented. If ball is stationary for 10 or more seconds, table screen will show instructions to retrieve ball to launch lane. X for gamepad, start button for motion controllers. Floor will now automatically teleport ball back to launch lane.

Hide hands: Added hide hands functionality to menu. This will hide hands and switch off hand collision, button presses will start function.

Deactivated table flipper buttons. We have done this as the best play experience is with either gamepad or motion controller buttons. Deactivating the table flipper buttons also stops an issue with motion controllers accidentally triggering an unwanted flipper press.

Removed unused menu items.

Updated engine to latest stable version.

Ball drain score fanfare system implemented. When ball drains score and multiplier fanfare begins score count.

Playfield light system implemented. All playfield embedded table lights, drop targets and playfield general lights are now integrated. Lights will flash in patterns in attract mode. Lights will react to score fanfares and task fanfares.

Audio pass to all tasks. Fanfare, success and fail audio. Audio implemented to run alongside fanfare and light systems.

All five tasks now fully implemented.

Final task implemented, battle the entity head that rises from the table. Ball needs to be charged by skill shotting ramps and orbits. Once ball charged, drop targets surrounding head can be lowered. A charged skill shot directly at head will open mouth. Final skill shot into mouth defeats head for multiplier or additional score.

Lots of additional tweaks, improvements, fixes and some design/scoring changes.

We hope you enjoy the update :-)

On a different note, we feel we are close to wrapping up this table and are starting to think about what we do next. We plan to fully release the game soon with just one table. Then maybe expand the platforms the game is available on [maybe viveport, oculus store etc.] Then we intend to look at creating a new table. So whilst we do boring stuff like platform integration we will be thinking about the direction we could take a new table. If you have any ideas we would like to hear them. Do you have a really good example of a pinball table we could draw inspiration from? Maybe something with deep gameplay? Do you have an original or cool idea for a table? Do you think The Summoning lacked something we could include with the new table?

Oh and we are considering creating a PC non VR version of the table, let us know if you think it is a good idea or not.

Update 3.2 19122017

Changed drop target rotator task. All drop targets now light up. All drop targets need to be hit before time runs out. Once task completed within time limit a bonus score will be awarded.

Changed lit lane skill shot task. Initially lanes that light up will be the easier lanes to hit. Once task completed within time limit a bonus score will be awarded.

Adjusted scores. Some tasks may have different scores. We expect this to increase the maximum score a player can acheive. We have pushed the build live so this will affect the live beta scoreboard. This is the first time we have significantly changed gameplay so let us know how you feel about this via the forums. We will continue to tweak the gameplay.

Various bugs have been fixed, we won't bore you with the details...

Haptic feedback [rumble] for motion controllers. When the ball experiences a sudden change in velocity and or direction the motion controllers signal this with a small vibration.

Hello, hope everybody is enjoying playing pinball :-). Apologies for the delay between updates, real world milestones interrupted development of the game [baby arriving].

Nudging the table will now result in more response from the ball. With correct timing it is now possible to nudge the ball away from drain entrances.

Xbox pad right thumbstick now controls the plunger. This has brought the control pad control scheme inline with other video game pinball tables.

Added leaderboard sytem. Currently there is a leaderboard for the top 10 players and another leaderboard for 9 places around the current player. Your current local highest score will be transferred to the new leaderboard system.

Update 1 09052017

Added gesture tilt: Hold handle button [vive] second trigger [oculus]. Move the motion controller to move table. Repeated movement will tilt table. [feedback on this new feature would be greatly received] [works with xbox pad as well]

Added vertical position adjustment: In VR menu, adjust height. Use pad [vive], thumbstick [oculus], d-pad [xbox pad], press a/ trigger to select option then up or down to set position. Position will be saved between game sessions. Left or right resets position to default. Back button deselects option. Navigation square will turn green when option selected.

Vive trigger sensitivity: Adjusted vive motion controller trigger sensitivity to .1 from .05 as some vive analog sensors not absolutely accurate.

Adjusted left ramp/habitrail: Leveled the slope slightly to make it easier to complete the ramp [adjusted light timer, reset lights when all lit]

Other: Plus other small tweaks.

Fixed/added:

Keyboard: Cursor keys to navigate menu and launch ball. Return to select menu option. Backspace to navigate up menu levels. Space to show/hide menu. Control keys for left/right flippers.

Xbox gamepad triggers: Added flipper input to gamepad triggers.

Ball audio: Added temp ball audio.

Vive rotation: Added option to reset rotation, as well as height and position in vr menu. Currently not saved between game sessions. Will improve whole system in a future update.
