For this winter holiday season, we’ve prepared a very special offer for you – the BM Oplot as well as a special skin for it and for the Merkava Mk.4M.
The BM Oplot is, of course, the crown jewel of the offer. It is a heavily upgraded T-84 Ukrainian Main Battle Tank, which is based on an older design called T-80UD. It is currently the best tank the Ukrainian military industry can offer. You can read more about its history in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the BM Oplot is a Tier 9 Premium Main Battle Tank with a playstyle similar to the T-80U. Power-wise, it’s roughly on par with the T-90MS of the same Tier, but it has a very unique ability. Its advanced Duplet armor consists of several ERA layers, making it able to negate more than one HEAT shell impact. It takes several precise hits aimed at the same location to break through it, making it a very resistant vehicle on the battlefield.
Between December 27, 2018, and January 3, 2019, you can obtain the Oplot from the new Oplot Loot Crate that we are introducing in the Web Shop (including for Gold).
This Loot Crate has a chance of dropping the BM Oplot as well as plenty of other goodies. Additionally, there is a rule in place – the more you open, the higher the higher the chance of an Oplot drop per crate, making it a virtual certainty at one point.
This Loot Crate has can be obtained in our Web Shop in the following bundles:
2 Loot Crates
5 Loot Crates (5% discount)
11 Loot Crates (10% discount)
23 Loot Crates (15% discount)

But that’s not all. We’ve prepared a special Christmas-themed Frost skin for the BM Oplot and the Merkava Mk.4M MBTs. This skin is available:
Starting today, we are giving you the opportunity to obtain Arabian and Wasteland Loot Crates:
Arabian Loot Crates for Gold
Wasteland Loot Crates for Battle Coins
Let’s take a look at what both Loot Crates contain!
Arabian Loot Crates
The Arabian Loot Crates are currently available for the season-limited Arabian contracts. They are the only way of obtaining the K1A1 Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank.
The K1A1 is an upgraded version of the older South-Korean K1 MBT. It’s a very distant relative of the Abrams MBT with the main difference being the presence of a hydro-pneumatic suspension, allowing the vehicle to tilt itself forward, backward and (unlike the Type 90) to the sides.
In Armored Warfare, it retains this ability as the first MBT able to do so. The combination of a 120mm gun, good mobility and solid armor (all of them roughly the same as the M1A1 has) as well as the ability to mark enemy targets for increased damage (the way AFVs and LTs can) makes it powerful opponent even in its basic form, which is equivalent to a stock vehicle of the same Tier.
But that’s not all. The Arabian Loot Crate allows you to receive five upgrade modules that you can collect and install on your K1A1. These modules are:
Improved protection (bonus to repair speed and damage taken reduction)
Improved survivability (bonus to vehicle hitpoints)
Improved spotting (bonus to view range and the duration your target stays spotted)
Improved firepower (bonus to reload time)
Improved mobility (bonus to acceleration, hull traverse and turret traverse)
With all four upgrade modules collected and installed, the tank becomes truly formidable and on par with the best vehicles of its Tier and class, perhaps even slightly surpassing them.
The Arabian Loot Crate drops blueprints of this vehicle that you can collect. Assembling one hundred of them will award you with the permanent version of this MBT. Its upgrades come in parts as well and once enough parts of each type are collected, you can receive and install the respective upgrade. All the received blueprints and the K1A1 itself can be sold for Credits.
The Arabian Loot Crates do not, of course, only drop the vehicle or component blueprints. You can also receive:
K1A1 Tier 7 Premium MBT right away without the need to collect its blueprints (very rare)
K1A1 skin (very rare, can be sold for Gold)
The Arabian Loot Crates are available for Gold in our Web Shop from December 24, 2018 (16:00 CET), to January 1, 2019 (16:00 CET) in the following bundles:
2 Loot Crates
5 Loot Crates (5% discount)
11 Loot Crates (10% discount)
25 Loot Crates (15% discount)
50 Loot Crates (25% discount)
Please note that this offer is not available in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Wasteland Loot Crates
The Wasteland Loot Crates are currently available as a reward for certain Battle Path levels. They are the only way of obtaining the BMPT Mod.2017 Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer.
The BMPT Mod.2017 is based on a real 2017 BMPT Terminator pattern seen in Syria in 2017, where it was deployed and allegedly tested by the Russian expeditionary force. It is also known as the Syrian pattern Terminator. It is basically a combination of an older T-90-based BMPT hull and a newer combat module that was seen on the BMPT-72 with soft ERA attached to its sides (essentially fabric bags filled with explosive materiel) as well as some smaller upgrades.
Compared to the Tier 8 Ramka-99 progression TD, the BMPT Mod.2017 is less maneuverable, but also better protected on its sides thanks to the presence of the soft ERA that acts as an additional first generation ERA kit on top of the standard BMPT protection. Gameplay-wise, the vehicle is similar to its progression counterpart.
The Wasteland Loot Crate drops blueprints that you can collect. Assembling one hundred of them will award you with the BMPT Mod.2017 Tank Destroyer. Additionally, 1-day temporary Tier 6 or higher Premium vehicles can drop as well.
The Wasteland Loot Crates are available for Battle Coins in the Warlords of the Wasteland Battle Path window within the game until the end of the Battle Path event in the following bundles:
1 Loot Crate (600 Battle Coins)
5 Loot Crates (2750 Battle Coins)
10 Loot Crates (5000 Battle Coins)
We hope you will enjoy the event and will see you on the battlefield!
The entire My.com Armored Warfare team would like to wish you merry Christmas and a happy New Year! To celebrate this year’s winter holidays, we’ve prepared a very special gift for you.
Starting today, until the end of the year, you can find a free Gift box on MyLoot containing:
Berlin Brigade camouflage (available for all three terrain types)
500 Battle Coins
2 Platinum Loot Crates
2 Platinum Armored Warfare 12-hour Boost tokens
2 Platinum Battlefield Glory 12-hour Boost tokens
4 Christmas decals
This Christmas, we are once again enabling the Christmas Garage and the special Holiday Mode! A squad of snowmen took a magical sleigh and is dropping tree decorations over the village! Help Grandfather Frost gather the decorations and put them on the tree! Tree decorations will spawn across the map and it’s your and your team’s duty to pick each one up and bring it back to your base. But beware – evil grinch-driven armored vehicles will stop at nothing to steal them from you, ruining your holidays!
There are three hidden achievements in the mode, don’t miss them!
Please note: the mode is only available for 15 minutes once per hour.
The holiday mode can be selected in the Garage in the mode menu
The match generally follows the rules of Global Operations with both sides having a number of points
Capturing and bringing home the decorations resembles a Capture the Flag mode, each capture reduces enemy’s pool of points
The first time a decoration spawns, it will always be in the center of the map, the rest of the spawns are random
Player who captures a decoration will be clearly identified by an icon and visible on the minimap
Destroying a vehicle carrying the decoration will cause the decoration to drop to the ground and become available for capture by someone else
A new decoration spawns every 90 seconds
It’s necessary to capture 5 decorations to win a match
The match is played in 10v10 format and lasts 15 minutes
Don’t also forget to pick up the last gifts from the Winter Calendar as well as the ongoing bonuses that end on December 27, 2018:
400% Experience income bonus (x5) for the first victory of the day for the Random Battles and Global Operations modes
50% Experience income bonus for all modes
50% Crew Experience income bonus for all modes
We hope that you will enjoy these winter holidays with Armored Warfare and will see you on the battlefield!
On the 24th of December 2018, starting from 8:00 CET (23rd of December, 11 PM PST), the server will not be available for 4 hours due to the application of Update 0.27.5100.
List of Update 0.27.5100 Changes
Fixed the incorrect Assist Damage value in the Battle Results window
Fixed an issue where the vehicles have incorrect (empty) statistics in the Garage as well as incorrect characteristics UI bars
Fixed the incorrect PvE mission switch timer in the HQ window
Fixed an issue that allowed players to purchase a rented vehicle under some circumstances
Fixed an issue where some players could observe incorrect winrate changes following the launch of Update 0.27

Fixed several nonsensical mission descriptions (8.000 kills requirement changed to 8.000 damage, UAV hits changed to UAV kills etc.)
Challenger 2 ATDU Adjustments
Following an evaluation, we have decided to reduce the power of the Challenger 2 ATDU’s HESH shells and to address the issue where PISH shells were dealing too much module damage:
HESH shell damage reduced from 900 to 800, accuracy reduced from 0.148 to 0.17
PISH shell damage reduced from 950 to 850 and lost its 25 percent damage bonus upon penetration
PISH accuracy reduced from 0.148 to 0.18
However, to compensate these adjustments, the Challenger 2 ATDU now has a hydraulic suspension that can tilt the vehicle forward or backward or lower it to provide the following changes to statistics:
Camouflage factor improved by 10 percent
View range reduced by 15 meters
Acceleration reduced by 20 percent
Aiming speed improved by 20 percent
Depleted Uranium Shell Adjustments
We’ve recently added a new type of shell category to the game – APFSDS shells with depleted uranium penetrator with a bonus to the chance to set the enemy on fire. We are introducing the following adjustments:
CHARM 1, CHARM 3, XM827, 3VBM14, M774, M833 and M900 shells now correctly have the depleted uranium core bonus
The M829A1 and M919 shells now have an increased chance to set the enemy on fire
Removed the depleted uranium bonus from the Challenger 2’s L28A1 as this shell does not have a depleted uranium penetrator
M551 Sheridan – increased the loading time from 10.5 seconds to 12 seconds
M551 Sheridan now has the Rapid Fire active ability
The Terminator series 30mm AP shells now all have the same penetration (3UBR10 – 168mm and 3UBR11 – 186mm)
Fixed an issue where the vehicles that were the not owned vehicles taken to the Proving Grounds map did not spawn with their active ability working
The ally/enemy turrets in battle are now moving smoothly without twitching
The T-90MS and T-90MS Hades turret bustle ammo rack can now be correctly damaged
Fixed an issue where it was impossible to remove the Bronze skin from Altay
Fixed an issue where Tier 3+ players could sometimes enter Tier 1 and Tier 2 battles
Fixed an issue where low-Tier battles could sometimes load without a loading screen
Fixed the issue that caused some elements of a vehicle to shake
Fixed an issue where the achievements obtained in combat did not appear in battle results properly
Changed the timer for the Assault Squad achievement from 6 minutes to 7 minutes
The Assault Squad kill counter now counts your entire team’s kills, not just yours
Changed the timer for the Lightning Assault achievement – the time to complete the misison was reduced from 9 minutes to 7 minutes (you still must not lose any AI allies)
Fixed an issue where vehicles could climb really steep slopes when going in reverse
Fixed an issue where large caliber shots sounded exactly the same in the first person view and the third person view
We are happy to announce that, once again, you now have the opportunity to obtain the coveted Armata 152 Tier 10 Premium MBT, this time as a part of a brand new Loot Crate!
The Armata 152 is a version of the T-14 Armata, armed with larger cannon. One of the upgrades considered for the T-14 Armata was the increase of its caliber to 152mm in order to absolutely, positively destroy anything with the first shot. The 2A83 smoothbore is a behemoth of a gun, designed in the last days of the Soviet empire for the next generation of super-tanks. It’s massive, heavy and quite costly to produce, but, most importantly, it was never truly needed to deal with the western MBTs since the standard 125mm guns were (and still are) up to the task. That is why it never found its way on any Soviet MBT with even the standard T-14 Armata being armed with an improved 125mm cannon. You can, however, experience its awesome firepower in Armored Warfare! Learn more about it in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the T-14 Armata 152 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. While not firing as fast as its 125mm counterpart, the 152mm rounds do enormous damage, often eliminating weaker opponents with a single shot. And then there’s the platform itself – the Armata, the most modern Main Battle Tank in the world. Earn it and use it to dominate!
Between December 20 and December 27, 2018, you have the opportunity to obtain this unique vehicle from an Armata 152 Loot Crate, although this time, the Loot Crate rules are quite different.
This Loot Crate contains mostly Armata 152 blueprint pieces. You need to assemble one hundred of these pieces (that will appear in your Inventory upon the crate opening) to receive the Armata 152. Each crate drops one of the following items:
Armata 152 Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank (rare drop)
1 to 99 blueprint pieces
Temporary 1-day version of a random Tier 6 or higher Premium vehicle
A part of an Special Armata 152 Loot Crate (collect 10 to receive a Special Armata 152 Loot Crate – Special Loot Crates are enhanced versions of the standard Loot Crates, offering more drops and higher chances to receive better items)
An extra Armata 152 Loot Crate
If a player already has the same Premium vehicle the Loot Crate dropped a temporary version of in his or her inventory, he or she will receive 350 Gold instead.
The Loot Crate is available by purchasing it in our Web Shop in the following bundles:
2 Loot Crates
5 Loot Crates (5% discount)
11 Loot Crates (11% discount)
23 Loot Crates (15% discount)
