The new game update includes bug fixing and some minor improvements, but the main change is the updated game engine to improve performance and new devices compatibility.

Note: We detected some issues with some generic gamepads. Please, join the beta "Legacy" if this happens to you to play with the old engine version.

We have released a new game update with improvements and bug fixes. Discover what's new in Stories of Bethem: Full Moon v1.3.7!

Remember that you can check the fixed bugs in the game Bug box. SOBFM v1.3.7 fixes gamepad bugs, crashing when pausing the game and other minor issues.

Disable screen smoothing

The most important content of this update is the option to disable screen smoothing (solid pixels). Take a look at the Config menu and choose what you like most!

If you disable screen smoothing, you'll probably see broken square proportions depending on your screen aspect ratio and resolution.

Minor improvements

The update includes some minor improvements:
  • New sound for text boxes. Text boxes will only play the chime sound when the dialogue is over. More comfortable now!
  • New tips. There are new tips in many points of the adventure.

Finally, we have released the Stories of Bethem: Full Moon update v1.3.3 for all platforms. Take a look at what's new!
  • Monster aura challenge shows the aura rank now. You can know how hard will be the revealing action quickly!

  • New services screen (Oracle Sisters and others). We applied the buying screen to the rest of services in the game.

  • Camera improvements. Sometimes the camera didn't focus right.

  • Background music fading when opening menus.

  • Go to the Bethem VIP Club to know how are you doing to become a member! Talk to Lilly an she'll show you the % of completed requirements.

  • Bug fixing. Bug Box

  • Minor improvements.

We released the update v1.3.3 for Stories of Bethem: Full Moon for Windows and OS X (tomorrow it will be also available for Ubuntu).

This update includes an important change for gamepads. Please take a look at the config option of the title screen!

Choose your favorite settings for Xbox (Xinput) controllers

Now you can choose one of the four settings for this kind of gamepad. It includes the first configuration we released, the new one (now by default, take a look at the screenshot above), the config of v1.3.2 and a new one.

We included the new gamepad setting after testing for the most comfortable and fast gameplay. But maybe you don't like it.

So go to config -> gamepad and select what you like most!

Generic gamepads and the Xbox controller reference

We added a reference model as suggestion for generic gamepad config. These controllers are fully configurable because the button number changes between devices.

But we thought that maybe you would want to know about the standard setting.

We have released Stories of Bethem: Full Moon v1.3.2 for Windows, Ubuntu and OS X. It contains a fix for an important error that only happens starting your game in v1.3.0, minor bug fixing and a couple of minor improvements and adjustments.

One of these improvements is the new recycling screen: we can choose how many items we want to introduce in the machines now. Take a look at the following screenshot!



We also made easier that some monsters drop their aura.

The major issue
After talking to the Red Witch for the first time, you shouldn't be able to go to the West area. There, an event will be triggered and the game line will go a little crazy. If you save the game after this, your game will be altered forever.

When you get the first Oneiric Object in the Warehouse, you won't be able to know what the Red Witch was to tell you. She is just angry and you'll never know why.

What can I expect if this happened to me?
Don't worry! The game should works fine if you complete the first dungeon before the second.

You'll have got too many gems to ruin your trades (and a part of your game, because finding gems makes no sense then).

Can I fix it?
You can send us your saved game at our support e-mail and we'll cast a new spell on your gems if you want. If you haven't got the first Oneiric Object yet and you went to the West area, consider as a choice starting.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you want us to destroy your gems :P

Why?
We tried to make the game opening faster for the player, so we removed a couple of irrelevant scenes with the last update. We forgot to cast the anti-bug spell and the terrible bug was born ːredcriesː

We have released a new version of the game with a lot of improvements. Discover what's new in Stories of Bethem: Full Moon v1.3!

At first, the update fixes some bugs you can check in the game Bug box. So we'll just show you the rest of improvements in this article.


Game progress



The saving/load screen shows the game progress now. Know easily how you are you doing in the game!

Note that you'll have to load and save the game with the new update to this information be shown.


Gamepad changes



We updated the default buttons for generic gamepads and the Xbox controller configuration. The Start button is now used to pause the game, Select to display information and X to open the inventory and map.

Before the update, Start was used to open the inventory/map, Select to pause the game and X to display information. We decided to change the configuration because we thought it's better to use the face buttons for the main features and the pause menu be open with the Start button.


Buy as many potions as you want at once



Yeah! No more talking to the merchant for each potion you want to buy. Some users told to us this tedious issue and they were right, so we have been working on improving the shop system.

Just select the item, and the new buying screen will be displayed. Choose the units you want to buy with by pressing up and down buttons. Remember your inventory has a limit per potion!

The new buying screen will be displayed for all the merchant activities (costumes, potions, items, orbs...).


Pause and exit at any moment



Previously, the game only let us open the pause menu when Khoma was able to move: for example, we couldn't do it in a scene.

This won't be a problem anymore! Pause the game when you need to.


New Yellow Potion making screen



Before the update, Crisantemo said us what ingredients we didn't have got in her speaking bubble.

That was tedious too, so we have tried to make a new screen where the ingredients will be displayed in a useful way.


Sound improvement



We normalized the audio volume and improved the bit rate. That's why the game size is now about 150 MB.


New trading screen



The trading screen has also been improved and doesn't show only the two options we have: it displays the elements being trading.


Minor adjustments

We also made the followings adjustments:
  • Bat animations improvements.
  • GuGames Development logo resolution improvement.
  • Simultaneous sound limitations. No more bushes destruction or spell collision/cast high volume sound.
  • Spells collision improvements. Hitting balloons is easier now.

Stories of Bethem: Full Moon - Cristóbal Mata
We released a small update for Stories of Bethem: Full Moon and its demo version. In addition, you are able to continue your game from different platforms if you have Steam Cloud enabled now because saved files are synchronized between platforms too.

Explore, solve puzzles and have fun wherever you want!

We added the new avatars of Khoma, Ivy, Cristantemo, Bluebell and Rose.

Now, you can go to your Steam profile and change you avatar for your favorite character of Stories of Bethem: Full Moon!

We're happy to announce that the new game expansion and Trading Cards are now available for the game. Install the new update to enjoy the new features!

We added four new achievements to unlock. There are 52 achievements to get now!

Powerful costumes
The main new feature of the game is the Blossom's Taylor Shop. A place where you'll be able to change the clothes of Khoma and get new special powers.

For example, you can use the Goat Costume to be inmune to the holes: Khoma can't fall into them! Each costume has a special power, take a look at the Blossom's Taylor Shop at The Cape.

New dungeon
Two of the seven costumes are very special: they are ancestral costumes and are not sold by Blossom. You'll have to discover them.

One of them is waiting for you in a new dungeon. The other one... You'll have to investigate!

The new dungeon is pretty special because there are no monsters inside. It's a misleading-puzzle based challenge where you must be careful with all stuff inside. We hope you enjoy!

Visual improvements
We also improved some of the game animations and graphics. Among other things, Birky is now prettier, gems have been remade, NPC and Khoma have been updated too. We hope you like them!
