Have You Played? is an endless stream of game retrospectives. One a day, every day of the year, perhaps for all time.>

A delirious and witty post-Stanley Parable statement of intent from William Pugh’s Crows Crows Crows – twenty minutes long and no-pennies in price, you have no excuse not try it. (more…)

I am dad, hear me whinge. Too many games, not enough spare time, for all my non-work hours are spent kissing grazed knees, explaining why you cannot eat the food in that cupboard>, constructing awful Lion King dioramas out of toilet roll tubes and being terrified that the next jump from the sofa to the armchair will go fatally wrong. I’m lucky in that my job to some extent involves playing games, so by and large if there’s something I really want to check out I can find a way to, but I appreciate that there are many long-time, older or otherwise time-starved readers for whom RPS is a daily tease of wondrous things they cannot play.

Now, clearly I cannot magically truncate The Witcher 3 into three hours for you, but what I can do is suggest a few games from across the length and breadth of recent PC gaming that can either be completed within a few hours or dipped into now and again without being unduly punished because you’ve lost your muscle-memory. … [visit site to read more]

The bohemian sewer of neon lights and indie games known as Itch.io has posted a huge bundle of games from over 100 different creators, pointedly called A Good Bundle. It’s got a lot in it. Gone Home is in there, Catacomb Kids is in there, Proteus is there, The Novelist is there, Killing Time At Lightspeed is there. And a bunch of smaller games of note too: NORTH, Windosill, Raik, FJORDS, The Old Man Club, Depression Quest, Capsule jeepers. The asking price for the whole stash a potentially overwhelming 151 games is 20 United States dollars. There s another motive behind this videogame Voltron though. All of the proceeds are going to the American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood. … [visit site to read more]

The Beginners Guide, aka, the sad one. After the Stanley Parable warmed the innards of human animals across the world, the two creators went their separate ways. One of them resurfaced a couple of years later holding a free game with a superbly long name called Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist. The other appeared with The Beginner s Guide. Both were good, but for completely different reasons.

Uhh- I've never had to write a patch update before but uh,
I guess I could give it a shot!

So the people over in Exports said that something went wrong with the last update and it broke achievements - but they say that it should be fixed now so, that sounds like good news?

As for Frank (who's been working by himself in P&L for the past 3 weeks) - he says that language support is now in for...

Swedish, French, German, Russian, Romanian- uhhh
Italian? Polish? uhh- Turkish and... Spanish! Spanish.

Oh and he wanted me to say a big thank you to all of the translators who kept working throughout the strike.

Anyway! I best be off! I've done my job here!

So yeah I guess, uhh...

Thanks for waiting and sorry for it taking so long!

Have a nice day now!

Hey! It's meee!! Little Tommy!! I'm pushing an update to the game!! Look at meee!!!

First things first! Not many people are here in the office right now - but I've been here! You can bet your bottom dollar on that! I'm here to REALLY shake things up! Hahaha!! I'm shaking this up in two main ways. Two main ways.

1: Adding TRADING CARDS to this weird Tiger game thing!!

So I think before all of the Doctor Tiger game people disappeared they were working on getting all of you folks some trading cards. I think they're pretty cool - but I added a couple of my own little improvements! Ha! Nah just kidding. I don't want to get FIRED!! What kinda- what-

The second main big thing that I've been doing to SHAKE THINGS UP has been to:

Yeah! Yeah! I've put a buckle on it and given everybody what they REALLY wanted. Pretzels!! Loads of pretzels to find in every nook and cranny!! Yeah you might not find them straight away but if you LOOK you'll see! You'll see them once and for all!!

Yeah anyway that's what I've got to say! Me! Little Tommy!!

Little Tommy over and out!!

(P.S. If you want to hear more from ME, Little Tommy be sure to sign up to the Crows Crows Crows newsletter over at THIS WEBSITE. Put a buckle on it.)
