Hey everyone!

What started as a small prototype has grown into a game we hope you’ll enjoy. Of course, not everything we dreamed of made it into the final version, but I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished. And more importantly — this is just the beginning.

🆕 What’s new in the big update:

🎙 Red Riding Hood finally speaks!

Thanks to our collaboration with the talented Soft Spoken, our heroine finally has a voice — and it fits her perfectly!

🌲 The world has doubled in size

A whole new area is now available: a mysterious lake with a castle, surrounding forests, deep caves, and scenic pine meadows. New paths, new challenges — and new rewards.

💾 Checkpoints, saves, and lives
  • We’ve added checkpoints that you can unlock using points earned through gameplay and NSFW scenes.

  • A save system is now in place — you can take a break and return right where you left off: your last activated NSFW scene with your current score.

  • If you have lives left, you’ll respawn at your last checkpoint. If not — you’re sent back to the start and lose all progress.

🔥 7 new NSFW scenes

They unlock as you progress, and once unlocked, they’re yours to keep. Replay them anytime.

🏆 Achievements

We’ve added a bunch of new achievements — both for the classic NSFW mode and the No NSFW mode. Good luck unlocking them all!

🖥 Graphics boost (UE5)

We’ve re-enabled the full power of Unreal Engine 5, making the visuals much richer. This might impact performance, but don’t worry — flexible settings let you optimize the game for your system.

🐞 Bug fixes and polish

Thanks to our amazing community, we’ve fixed tons of bugs and improved the gameplay. The experience is now smoother and more stable.


🚧 What’s next?

Honestly? I’m emotionally exhausted after this release and will take a short break. But Catch Me will keep evolving. We're already working on new content — stay tuned for the “Fox Tail” event announcement!

Hello Dear Adventurers,

Thanks all of you for your feedbacks. They are helping me update the game much much faster. In this update I added some little helpful features and fixed some major bugs.

Features:
  • Added Information Popups

  • Added loading screen right after pressing Start Game

  • Added change icon on map selector

  • NOW YOU CAN CLOSE OPTIONS MENU WITH PRESSING ESC!!

  • Increased the default graphic options

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed 4 people can’t join bug (Thanks to asd4916134, their friends for reporting this bug)

  • Squeezing Wall not synched bug is  fixed

  • Objects fallingthrough terrain is “mostly” fixed

  • Fixed rarity detector’s characters

  • Fixed doors are showing up on in rooms with no exit (for clients)

  • Fixed keys spawning on rooms with no doors

  • You can jump onto these shelves and clip through the tent

  • Flickering textures in spike ceiling room

  • Picking up the artifact without switching bug is fixed

Added /votestop command to stop ranked matches by vote

Rebound Rush - Spades

What began as a student project for the 2025 edition of the Ubisoft Game Lab Competition has grown into something much more.

Rebound Rush was developed in just 10 weeks as part of the competition, during which it earned the Best Art Direction award. Motivated by that recognition and the excitement surrounding the game, our team decided to take things further—polishing the experience, expanding the content, and preparing it for a full release.

Today, we're thrilled to finally share it with you on Steam.

Our small team of eight students put our hearts into every detail of this game. From the fast-paced gameplay to the hand-crafted visuals, Rebound Rush is the result of late nights, creativity, and passion. We truly hope you enjoy playing it as much as we loved making it.

Gameplay & Features
- The original Survival Mode has been reinstated, allowing players to experience the classic modular survival gameplay.
- A Map Change Button has been added, giving players greater flexibility when switching between environments before matches.
- Purchasable Weapons are now available in Survival Mode, offering enhanced loadout customization and strategic depth.

Visual & Terrain Updates
- Terrain has been reworked on both featured levels to improve navigation, aesthetics, and tactical engagement.

Bug Fixes & Technical Improvements
- Audio levels have been normalized across the board to ensure consistent sound quality and immersion.
- Resolved networking bugs that previously disrupted multiplayer stability.
- Fixed an issue with the mech's right-click functionality, shelving the aiming for now.
- Addressed glitches with open-world spawners, improving enemy and item generation.

Balance Adjustments
- The M4 weapon's fire rate has been increased to better match its damage output and role.

    目前开发进展顺利,最快有望在2025年底与大家见面。游戏的主线剧情框架已经全部搭建完成,我们现在正全力填充内容、打磨细节,希望能尽早呈现一个完整的故事。

  • Q2:关于方言使用与世界观设定

    游戏开场采用了接近泉州/厦门的某处方言配音,该方言与潮汕方言存在诸多相似之处。需要说明的是,游戏中的"闽南"概念并非特指现实中的闽南地区,而是对广义闽南文化圈的艺术化呈现。"乌山县"融合了粤东、闽南、闽西等多个地区的文化元素,包括产业形态、饮食特色、地理风貌等,是一个虚构的"闽南梦核"世界。这样做是为了避免玩家过度代入现实地域,同时也展现了粤东与闽南文化的同源特质。乌山大佛等标志性场景均为虚构设计,希望大家以开放的心态体验这个架空世界。如果大家想去“乌山”旅游,建议把粤东、闽南、闽西都游个遍哦~

  • Q3:关于剧情走向

    关于这一点,我们暂时不想透露太多,无论是神秘现象还是科学逻辑,最终都会服务于故事的沉浸感和情感表达。可以保证的是,后续三章的剧本我们将会尽最大努力打磨,以保持和Demo相同的水准,而且会有 “惊喜”(翻译翻译,什么叫惊喜?)

  • Q4:关于平台适配计划

    由于团队规模有限,我们目前优先确保PC(win/mac)版本的稳定性。依据游戏上线后的综合情况,我们会考虑适配手柄和Steam Deck。至于移动端,依照当前团队综合情况来考虑,我们认为短期内实现难度较高,但未来仍会持续评估可能性。

  • Q5:关于本地化支持

    感谢玩家们对本地化内容的关注!我们确认正式版将提供完整的英文本地化字幕支持,目前翻译工作已在稳步推进中。至于配音,我们的态度比较审慎——如果配音质量可能影响叙事沉浸感,我们更倾向于保持文字呈现方式。一切决策都将以游戏体验为核心,不会为了"全语音"而牺牲整体氛围。后续会根据开发进度和资源情况做出最终判断,还请大家理解。

  • Q6:遇到BUG怎么反馈?

    作为新团队,我们常遇到难以复现的BUG。为此我们在游戏中内置了反馈系统——游戏中遇到问题时按ESC键,在屏幕左下角有个按钮可以提交报告。系统会自动附上日志,比截图更能帮助我们准确定位问题。请对乌合之众使用bug反馈吧!

  • Q7:关于二手平台诈骗提醒

    近期我们收到少量玩家反馈,发现某鱼等平台出现售卖所谓"《乌合之众》完整版"的虚假信息。在此郑重声明:游戏尚未开发完成,所谓"完整版安装包"均属诈骗。当前公开的Demo版本为永久免费,请大家切勿相信付费交易,也恳请各位互相提醒、积极举报问题链接。正式发售信息请以官方渠道为准!
