  1. When using a controller with auto targeting:
    • Faerie blink, and Apparition stone will blink to your target if you're not walking (pushing the left joystick or d-pad in a direction).
    • Cyclone will pull enemies to your target if you're not walking (pushing the left joystick or d-pad in a direction).
    • Telekinesis will throw the enemy to your target if you're not walking (pushing the left joystick or d-pad in a direction).
  2. Disabled controller activation when moving a joystick. You now have to press a button on the controller to activate it.
    • Some controllers send phantom axis movements.

  2. Updated filters to prevent an XBox 360 controller showing up twice in the controller list.

Fixed an issue with stat percentage changes not showing up on the "Select race" screen for custom runs.

  1. Fixed an issue where the game wouldn't launch on older macOS version
  2. Updated Java to version 14
    • Added use of the Z garbage collector. This should eliminate any game stutters from the underlying virtual machine.

  1. Fixed an issues where the UI wouldn't always show a controller when it was plugged in.
  2. Improve error messages for some crashes.

Hey everyone,

Thanks again for all the helpful error reports. As always please continue to send your log files to suppost@nimblygames.com if you encounter an issue.

This patch should fix a frame buffer crash several users were encountering.

I also added an error dialog for users that don't have proper OpenGL drivers installed and so we can't create an OpenGL window.

Thanks again for all your help ironing out these crash issues! This time the out of memory crashes should really be fixed, I had a typo in the last patch so I didn't actually fix it 🤦‍♂️.

Hey Everyone,

We fixed several crash issues, in particular:
  • Out of memory crashes.
  • Nested iterator issues causing start up crashes
  • Index out of bounds crashes

Unresolved issues:
  • MacOS can't load libobjc.dylib
  • Incomplete frame buffer

We added more logging so if you experience any crashes please email your log files to support@nimblygames.com
