Hello shopkeepers! We’ve listened to your feedback and made some big changes to improve your island experience. Here’s what’s new in this update:

🛒 Relaxed Early GameCustomer Spawn Rate Adjusted:
We’ve decreased the number of customers arriving at your store during the early levels. Now, you can open your shop at a calmer pace, giving you more time to stock shelves and organize before the crowds arrive.

🌅 Store Closing Time ChangedEnjoy the Sunset!
Your store will now close earlier, right after sunset. Many of you mentioned that nighttime felt too dark, so now you can wrap up your workday with the natural beauty of the island sunset—no more late nights spent under harsh artificial lights!

🏆 Experience & Leveling RebalancedSlower, More Rewarding Progression:
Leveling up was happening a little too quickly. We’ve adjusted experience requirements so you can enjoy unlocking and setting up new products and shelves at a more comfortable pace. Take your time, enjoy the process, and build your dream market without feeling rushed!

ARK: Survival Evolved - AlphaNav

Good Afternoon,

We are continuing to make posts through the weekend to continue to provide transparency regarding issues reported through the #「📩」support channel on the Official ARK: Aquatica Discord. Studio Sirens remains dedicated to providing updates daily as issues are being logged or addressed.

Our top priority remains to fix an issue with the game engine on the live version of ARK: Survival Evolved (360.1) ; proving to be complex, a solution continues to be developed in order to address mods from instantly crashing and we look forward to posting an update when possible. Once this specific issue is addressed, only then will the team be able to chase down specific mods with issues that may require an update with the updated devkit.
  • We are looking into issues that relate to shader issues built into the engine

  • We have been able to identify content that was pushed to the base game that may be conflicting with mods

To continue to remind everyone of the current solution, the team was able to push a pre-aquatica release version of A.S.E. This allowed people to return and play a version of the game before the launch of ARK: Aquatica and progress has and will continue to be made to address lingering issues.

The branch is called "preaquatica". To navigate to the branch: 

  • Right Click ARK: Survival Evolved in your Steam Library

  • Click Properties

  • Betas

  • Beta participation

  • Opt into "preaquatica" branch

The branch is available for clients and dedicated servers now.

Scope of issues pending for the Aquatica DLC
  • Low performance/FPS fixes are in progress and are being tested to be pushed onto the live A.S.E. branch (v360.1).

  • Game Engine Issue on A.S.E. branch (v360.1)

  • Boss Engram Rewards issue, where engrams requiring boss eliminations to unlock are not being rewarded.

  • Tame Specific issues

  • Issue identified with missing tames when logging off, with no tribe logs showing what happened to specific tames

  • Hydrosphere visual and function issues

  • Skiff despawn issue after every update pushed to v360.1, we ask that players pause production of Skiffs until this can be addressed.

  • More mesh holes to be addressed

  • Continuing the search for killboxes/instadeath locations/objects

Planned Developer Stream:

A member of the Studio Sirens Development team will be doing a live stream

  • New engravings on the graveyard

  • The king now brings you a gift sometimes (only available when he is annoying you)

  • Fixed a bug, where games income wasn’t shown in the daily income

  • Fixed an audio volume in uncle's tavern, where the bard was very quiet

  • Future Reservations are not shown anymore in the HUD when end of the month

  • Fixed a bug, where thieves won’t come to the tavern

  • Fixed the discount of sausages on the market

  • Changed collisions of windows which blocks building a bar

  • Some worker fixes specially when warehouse has missing items

In the last patch we accidentally disabled most drop pod landing locations in Titan City so we're fixing that. Oopsie.

Flightless Fables - Klardonics

For those of you interested, Flightless Fables is coming to Kickstarter July 29th! The goal is to accelerate the game's development and cover the costs of a soundtrack composer.

Enhancements
  • Added an option to change button selection mode for the mouse from mouseover to click. When in click mode, clicking on the selected (finger pointing) button will confirm it, and clicking a non-selected button will select it without confirming.

  • Portrait buttons are now clickable in the field or in the field and skill menus. In the skill menu, this will select the clicked character, as with the 1-5 keyboard hotkeys. In the field or field menu, this will open one of the three character-specific menus: Character, Equipment, or Skills. The default is Character, but can be changed in the Options menu.

  • The portrait panel will not slide out of view as long as a portrait is highlighted with the mouse.

  • Character hotkeys now also work in the field and field menu as above. Since these are categorized as menu commands, they can potentially overlap with field command bindings; if this occurs, the character hotkey will be lower priority when pressed in the field.

  • Added confirmation when starting the game during party creation. The confirmation will also display warnings if the party meets certain criteria, such as not having a healing class or not having all equipment proficiencies available. This is purely informational and can be freely disregarded if you're satisfied with your party.

  • Added confirmation when quitting to main menu from party creation.

  • Moved the party creation tips page from the main help menu into the party creation menu.

  • Added some additional flavor text after defeating Skunj.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed accumulated control resistance being lower than intended. When a control effect (such as sleep or stun, but excluding wound) is successfully applied to a target, that target gains increased resistance to subsequent applications of the same effect during the same combat, as well as reduced duration from successful applications. The resistance bonus was much smaller than intended, so this fix will essentially make it more difficult for a combatant (friendly or enemy) to be stunlocked.

  • Fixed character hotkeys not working in character-specific menus if the same key was bound to opening a different menu, e.g. 1 bound to both character slot 1 and the Order menu.

  • Fixed shattered gem graphic displaying in front of certain menus.
