END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) FOR LOGICFORGE
Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. Scope and provider

This agreement governs the use of the software "LogicForge" and
"LogicForge Demo" (together "the Software"), including all updates
delivered through Steam.

Provider: Tojori, contact: logicforge.support@gmail.com
("the Provider").

Purchase, payment, download and your Steam account are additionally
governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement of Valve Corporation. By
installing or launching the Software you agree to this agreement. If you
do not agree, please do not install or use the Software.

2. Right of use and licence of the program code

The program code of LogicForge is licensed under the MIT License; its text
is included with the Software (folder "licenses", file
"LogicForge-MIT.txt"). The MIT License applies unchanged. Nothing in this
agreement restricts the rights it grants you.

The demo version contains only part of the chapters. It is intended to let
you try the Software before buying it.

3. Third-party components

The Software contains third-party components under their own licences;
their texts are included in the folder "licenses" (overview in
"THIRD_PARTY.md"):

- Qt 6 (The Qt Company) under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.
The Qt libraries are linked dynamically and may be replaced by other
versions of the same major release.
- Python (Python Software Foundation) under the Python Software
Foundation License – Windows version only, used to run Python scripts
inside the Software.
- Steamworks SDK (Valve Corporation) under the Steamworks SDK Access
Agreement.

For these components their respective licences take precedence.

4. Scripts and external programs

At your instruction the Software can run Python scripts and other programs
on your computer (for example script components or "External program").
They run with your user permissions. Before a program you did not create
yourself is started for the first time, the Software asks for your
confirmation. You are responsible for the scripts and programs you write,
download or approve. Only run content you trust.

5. Steam Workshop and user content

Through the Steam Workshop you can share components, simulations and tasks
with others. Uploaded content is subject to Valve's rules for the Steam
Workshop. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the content you
upload and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties. The
Provider does not review content by other users and is not responsible for
it. Downloaded content may contain scripts – section 4 applies.

6. Data and privacy

The Software stores your projects, progress and settings on your computer;
if Steam Cloud is set up, Steam synchronises the save folder between your
devices. The Software contains no advertising and collects no usage
statistics.

Only when you yourself send a bug report or suggestion ("Report a bug",
"Wish or suggestion") does the Software transmit: your text, the program
version, operating system and processor architecture, the selected
language and – if attached – an excerpt of the program log (which may
contain file paths). The transmission goes through a relay service run by
the Provider (Cloudflare Workers) and creates an entry in the Provider's
non-public issue tracker on GitHub. Your Steam account and Steam ID are not
transmitted. The data are used solely to fix bugs and improve the
Software.

Steam features (achievements, Workshop, Cloud) are provided by Valve; the
Valve privacy policy applies to them.

7. Warranty and liability

Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence,
for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law. In
cases of slight negligence the Provider is liable only for the breach of an
essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the
proper performance of the agreement possible in the first place and on
whose fulfilment you may regularly rely), and then limited to the
foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement.

The Software is a tool for learning and experimenting. Simulation results
and exports (for example Verilog or Arduino) are not certified for use in
safety-critical systems. Please verify exported circuits yourself before
running them on real hardware. Back up important projects regularly; the
Software additionally creates automatic backups.

8. Updates and changes

The Provider may update, extend and improve the Software through Steam.
Material changes to this agreement will be announced in the Software or on
the Steam page.

9. Final provisions

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany,
excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of
Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the
mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country remain
unaffected.

Should any provision of this agreement be invalid, the remaining
provisions remain in effect.

This agreement is available in German and English. Both versions are
equivalent; in case of discrepancies the German version prevails, unless
mandatory law provides otherwise.
