Milk Powder Universe — End User License Agreement (EULA)
Version: 2026-10-24-r3

Licensor: milkpowderuniverse (the publishing brand used by the developer of the Game, referred to as the "Licensor")
Contact: milkpowderuniverse@gmail.com
Effective date: 2026-10-29
Game copyright notice: Copyright © 2026 milkpowderuniverse. Third-party component rights are governed by their respective notices.

1. Acceptance and game license
Please read these terms and Appendix A before agreeing. After you expressly agree, and provided you lawfully obtain the game accompanying these terms (the “Game”) and comply with the applicable Steam Subscriber Agreement, you receive a non-exclusive license to install, run, and play the Game. You receive a license to use the Game; ownership of copyright or other intellectual property in the Game itself does not transfer to you. If you disagree, do not indicate acceptance or begin use. Purchases and refunds are governed by applicable Steam rules and law.

2. The Game and third-party components
The Game's own code and assets, and Godot, Microsoft .NET, and other third-party components, have their respective rights and licenses. These terms do not replace third-party licenses or reduce any rights they separately grant you to use, copy, modify, distribute, or otherwise deal with the applicable components. If there is a conflict, the applicable third-party license controls for that component. In particular, section 3's restrictions do not apply to components provided under MIT or other open-source licenses. Rights in content you create do not automatically transfer to the Licensor under these terms.

3. Components governed by the Microsoft .NET Library License
This section applies only to components accompanying this Game version and identified in the per-file license list as governed by the Microsoft .NET Library License (the “Protected Components”): coreclr.dll and Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.amd64.dll. This release includes Windows x64 .NET Runtime 10.0.13. Appendix A contains the full applicable original terms.

This section applies only to the Protected Components actually included in this release, identified in the per-file license list, and governed by the Microsoft .NET Library License. Its restrictions extend only as far as required by the applicable original license for those components and do not extend to other Game content or third-party components.

The Protected Components are supplied integrated with the Game for running the Game. The following provisions do not prohibit use, copying, or redistribution expressly permitted by the original license when its conditions are met. Rights granted by applicable law or other valid permissions are also preserved. Subject to those limits:
(a) You must not publish the Protected Components for others to copy, otherwise distribute, rent, lease, lend, or transfer them or their license to a third party, or extract and offer them as a standalone product.
(b) You must not work around their technical limitations or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble them.
(c) You must not alter copyright, trademark, or patent notices in them and must retain applicable notices of Microsoft and its suppliers.
(d) You must not use them for commercial software hosting services or include them in malicious, deceptive, or unlawful programs. You must comply with domestic and international export laws and restrictions applicable to the Protected Components.
(e) Under the backup provision of the applicable original license, you may make one backup copy of the Protected Components solely for reinstallation. This provision does not restrict copying or redistribution separately permitted by the original license, or lawful backups of player save files, screenshots, user-created content, or other components.

Microsoft's name or trademarks do not mean that Microsoft created, sponsored, or endorsed the Game. Protections afforded to Microsoft under its original license remain subject to the exceptions in that license and applicable law. These terms do not require players to assume the Licensor's obligation to indemnify, defend, or hold Microsoft harmless.

4. Full terms and access
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt and the Licenses folder in the installation directory provide component information, per-file mappings, and original licenses. The full original terms for the Protected Components are at Licenses/DotNet/Windows/DOTNET-LIBRARY-LICENSE.txt. The notice file separately identifies original terms for this version's Godot and other .NET files. Appendix A on this page provides the complete original license for the Protected Components for you to read and retain before agreeing. Original licenses for other components are available in the installation directory identified above. The mere presence of files in an installation directory does not constitute your agreement.

5. Statutory rights and third-party liability
These terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights, statutory guarantees, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Microsoft's warranties, support, and liability are governed by its applicable original terms and mandatory law. Its disclaimers or liability cap do not thereby become a blanket disclaimer or liability cap for the Game's Licensor toward you. These terms add no player indemnity obligation, mandatory arbitration, exclusive court, or removal of statutory refund rights.

6. Languages
The Traditional Chinese and English versions are intended to express the same terms and should be read together. No ambiguity may reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or third-party license rights reserved by section 2.

Appendix A: Original Microsoft .NET Library License
The original English and French license accompanying the Protected Components is reproduced below. It applies to those components. It does not transfer the publisher's upstream distribution obligations to ordinary players or replace the open-source licenses for other components.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY. THE SOFTWARE IS LICENSED "AS-IS." YOU BEAR THE RISK OF USING IT. MICROSOFT GIVES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES OR CONDITIONS. YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS OR STATUTORY GUARANTEES UNDER YOUR LOCAL LAWS WHICH THIS AGREEMENT CANNOT CHANGE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER YOUR LOCAL LAWS, MICROSOFT EXCLUDES THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

* claims for breach of contract, breach of warranty, guarantee or condition, strict liability, negligence, or other tort to the extent permitted by applicable law.
It also applies even if Microsoft knew or should have known about the possibility of the damages. The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you because your country may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, consequential or other damages.
