MEMETICBOX - END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("you", "User") and Corvium Games ("Corvium Games", "we", "us", "our") for the video game MemeticBox, including its editors, tools, updates, and related content (the "Game").
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or play the Game.
This Agreement applies in addition to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and any other terms of Valve Corporation ("Valve") that govern your use of Steam and the Steam Workshop. If this Agreement conflicts with the Steam Subscriber Agreement, the Steam Subscriber Agreement prevails to the extent of the conflict.
1. LICENSE
The Game is licensed, not sold. Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment, on devices you own or control, through a platform account authorized to access it.
2. RESTRICTIONS
You agree not to:
a) sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the Game or any copy of it;
b) circumvent any technical protection, or use cheats or unauthorized software to gain an unfair advantage in any online, ranked, or achievement-related feature;
c) use the Game for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or harm any person;
d) remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
e) extract the Game's assets (models, sounds, music, voices, code) for use outside the Game, except as allowed under Section 4.
You may record, stream, and publish gameplay videos and screenshots of the Game, including monetized ones, provided that they do not misrepresent the Game or Corvium Games.
3. OWNERSHIP
The Game, including its code, art, audio, characters, name, and logos, is owned by Corvium Games or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the license in Section 1, no rights are granted to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
4.1 What it is. The Game includes tools that allow players to create, modify, and share content, including but not limited to maps, scenarios, weapons, characters, models, textures, sounds, text, names, images, and other creations, whether shared through the Steam Workshop or any other means ("User Content").
4.2 Users are solely responsible. User Content is created, directed, and published entirely by users, on their own initiative. The user who creates or uploads User Content is solely and fully responsible for it, including its legality, accuracy, and appropriateness, and for any consequences of publishing it.
4.3 No endorsement, no affiliation. Corvium Games does not create, commission, sponsor, review, pre-screen, approve, or endorse User Content. User Content reflects only the views and choices of the user who made it. It does not represent the opinions, values, beliefs, or positions of Corvium Games, its members, or its partners.
4.4 No ideology. Corvium Games does not hold, promote, or support any political, religious, social, or other ideology, movement, organization, or cause through the Game or through User Content. The presence of any symbol, name, message, person, group, event, or theme in User Content must not be understood as a statement, endorsement, or approval by Corvium Games.
4.5 No obligation to monitor. We have no obligation to monitor User Content and do not guarantee that User Content is safe, lawful, accurate, inoffensive, or suitable for any audience. You may be exposed to User Content that you find offensive, indecent, or objectionable. You download and use User Content at your own risk.
4.6 Rules for User Content. You agree not to create, upload, or share User Content that:
a) is illegal, or promotes or incites illegal acts or violence against real people or groups;
b) sexualizes minors in any way;
c) harasses, threatens, defames, or reveals private information about any real person;
d) promotes hatred or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics;
e) infringes any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other right of any third party;
f) contains malware or anything intended to damage or gain unauthorized access to a device or account;
g) violates the Steam Subscriber Agreement, the Steam Online Conduct rules, or the Steam Workshop rules.
4.7 Removal. We may, but are not required to, remove, hide, or disable access to any User Content, and restrict any user's ability to share content, at any time and for any reason, without notice and without liability.
4.8 Your rights and the license you give us. You keep ownership of the original User Content you create. By sharing User Content, you grant Corvium Games a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, host, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, publicly display, and publicly perform that User Content in connection with the Game and its operation, promotion, and improvement. You also allow other players to download, play, and modify it within the Game. Any license you grant to Valve by using the Steam Workshop is governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
4.9 Your promise to us. You represent that you own or have all the necessary rights to the User Content you share, and that it does not violate this Agreement, any law, or the rights of any third party.
4.10 Reporting. If you believe User Content is illegal, infringes your rights, or violates this Agreement, you can report it using the reporting tools on Steam or by contacting us at the address in Section 14. Copyright complaints about Workshop content may also be sent to Valve through its copyright notice procedure.
5. FICTIONAL AND MATURE CONTENT
The Game is a work of fiction. It contains intense violence, blood, gore, and other mature content intended for adult audiences. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to real organizations or events, is coincidental. The Game does not encourage, condone, or glorify violence or any unlawful act in real life. Nothing in the Game is intended as instruction, advice, or a statement about the real world.
6. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE GAME
We may update, change, or remove features of the Game at any time, including features related to User Content. Updates may be required to continue playing, and may cause existing User Content or save data to stop working. We are not obliged to provide updates, support, or any particular feature or content.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Game is distributed through and uses services operated by third parties, such as Steam. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, operation, or content of third-party services.
8. TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you breach this Agreement. We may also suspend or terminate your access to online or sharing features if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the Game. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.
9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE GAME AND ALL USER CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT USER CONTENT WILL BE SAFE, LAWFUL, OR COMPATIBLE.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CORVIUM GAMES AND ITS MEMBERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE GAME OR ANY USER CONTENT, INCLUDING ANY USER CONTENT CREATED, UPLOADED, OR SHARED BY ANY USER, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE GAME WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law, and nothing in this Agreement limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corvium Games and its members, contributors, and licensors from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your breach of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Argentina, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring the dispute elsewhere.
13. GENERAL
We may update this Agreement from time to time. The updated version will be made available on the Game's store page, and your continued use of the Game after an update means you accept it. If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Game.
