PomoIdle Arena Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-27

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the game "PomoIdle Arena" (the "Service") provided by GasaiGames (the "Operator"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (About the Service)
1. The Service is an individually developed game combining a Pomodoro timer with character-raising and battle elements.
2. The Service is currently provided free of charge and contains no paid purchases. In-game random elements, such as obtaining commands, use only resources and tickets earned within the game; there are no purchases with real money.
3. The Operator may change, add to, or discontinue the Service without prior notice. In the future, the Operator may also change the form in which the Service is provided (distribution method, pricing model, etc.) or separately offer a version with a different form of provision.

Article 2 (User Identifier and Restore Code)
1. The Service does not require account registration (email address, password, etc.); it identifies users by an anonymous identifier automatically issued per device (per browser in the web edition).
2. Deleting data on your device (in the web edition, clearing your browser data) or changing devices may cause you to lose access to your identifier and game data. Transferring data requires a "restore code" that can be issued within the game.
3. You are responsible for managing your restore code. If a third party learns your restore code, your game data may be obtained by that third party. The Operator is not liable for any loss of data due to the loss or leakage of a restore code.

Article 3 (Prohibited Conduct)
In using the Service, you must not:
1. Tamper with communications or save data, use cheat or automation tools, or engage in other fraudulent conduct;
2. Place excessive load on the Service's servers or network, or probe for or exploit vulnerabilities;
3. Create or publish, in content that users can create ("User Content") such as character names, display names, command names, and pixel-art icons, content that:
 - Infringes the rights of others (copyright, trademark, portrait rights, etc.);
 - Is obscene, discriminatory, defamatory, or otherwise contrary to public order and morals;
 - Impersonates another user or is fraudulent;
4. Abuse the reporting feature (e.g., repeated false reports);
5. Interfere with the operation of the Service;
6. Engage in any other conduct that the Operator deems inappropriate.

Article 4 (User Content)
1. User Content (character names, online display names, command names, pixel-art icons, face graphics, etc.) is displayed to other users through online battles, battle history, replays, and the like.
2. You grant the Operator a royalty-free license to use the User Content you create, to the extent necessary to provide the Service (including display to other users and storage and distribution on servers).
3. The Operator may reset or delete, without prior notice, any User Content that violates or may violate Article 3.

Article 5 (Usage Restrictions)
If you violate these Terms, or if the Operator determines that you may have done so, the Operator may, without prior notice, suspend your use of online features (BAN), modify or delete your game data, and take other necessary measures. The Operator is not liable for any damage to you resulting from such measures.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)
1. The rights to the programs, images, music, text, and other elements comprising the Service belong to the Operator or to third parties holding legitimate rights (pixel artists, music creators, etc.). For details, see the "License and Credits" notice.
2. You may not reproduce, repost, or redistribute the Service's content beyond the scope of private use. However, ordinary sharing such as sharing screenshots or posting gameplay videos is excepted.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)
1. The Service is provided "as is," and the Operator does not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or continuity.
2. The Operator is not liable for:
 - Loss or rollback of game data due to server failure, maintenance, specification changes, service termination, etc.;
 - Damage to users arising from use of or inability to use the Service;
 - Trouble between users (including matters arising from the content of User Content).
3. The Service is operated by an individual and does not guarantee a level of support responsiveness or service maintenance equivalent to that of a commercial service.

Article 8 (Changes to These Terms)
The Operator may change these Terms when it deems necessary. The revised Terms take effect upon being posted on the Service or in distributed materials. If you use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute concerning the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.

PomoIdle Arena Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-27

GasaiGames (the "Operator") sets out below how it handles user information in the game "PomoIdle Arena" (the "Service").

1. Operator Information
- Operator: GasaiGames (sole proprietor: Gasai)
- Developer site: https://gasai.dev/
- Contact: see "9. Contact" below

2. Information We Collect
The Service does not require you to register information that directly identifies an individual, such as name, email address, or phone number. The Service handles the following information.

(1) Anonymous user identifier
- When you use online features, AWS Cognito automatically issues an anonymous identifier (UUID) per device (per browser in the web edition). This identifier is not linked to your name or the like.

(2) Information you enter or create
- Online display name, character names
- Creative data such as command names (custom names), pixel-art icons, and face graphics
- A restore code for data transfer (only its hash value is stored on the server; the original code is not stored)
- The content of the feedback / bug reports you send (the selected category, the free-text message, plus the app version, platform type, and display language at the time of sending)
Note that free-form activity notes and activity records (the history of session activity titles) are stored on your device and are not sent to the Operator's server. Only the selectable activity category (see "(3) Play data" below) is sent to the server. In the Steam edition, if you enable the Steam Cloud feature, your activity records are also stored in Valve's Steam Cloud storage (the Operator cannot access their contents; syncing can be disabled in the Steam client settings).

(3) Play data
- Game progress (characters, equipment, commands, resources, achievements, mission progress, etc.)
- Pomodoro timer usage records (number of completed sessions, cumulative work time, selectable activity category, etc.)
- Online battle history, results, and replay data (including opponents' party information)
- Records of use of the reporting feature (report content and, as evidence, the reported party's information)

(4) Technical information
- Server access logs (may include IP address, request date/time, and content)
- Operation logs for cheat detection
The Service does not use advertising delivery or third-party access-analytics tools (such as tracking cookies).

3. Purposes of Use
We use the collected information for the following purposes.
(1) Providing the Service (saving and syncing game data, online battle matchmaking, etc.)
(2) Display to other users (display names, character names, command names, icons, etc. are shown on opponents' screens, in battle history, and in replays)
(3) Detecting and addressing fraud (cheating, data tampering, etc.)
(4) Responding to reports and moderating inappropriate content
(5) Incident response and service improvement

4. Storage Location and Retention Period
(1) Data stored on the server is held in the Tokyo region (ap-northeast-1) of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Delivery uses AWS CloudFront (CDN).
(2) Approximate retention periods are as follows.
 - Game data (save data, battle snapshots): for the period necessary to provide the Service
 - Operation audit logs: automatically deleted after about 30 days
 - Report records: automatically deleted after about 180 days
 - Feedback / bug-report records: automatically deleted after about 365 days
(3) On the device side, a local copy of the save data (encrypted), settings, the anonymous identifier's credentials, and your activity records are stored. In the web edition they are kept in browser storage and can be deleted by clearing your browser data; in the Steam edition they are kept on your computer.
(4) In the Steam edition, if you enable the Steam Cloud feature, your activity records are also stored in Valve's Steam Cloud storage. You can delete this copy yourself from the Steam client's cloud storage settings.

5. Provision to Third Parties and Outsourcing
(1) Except as required by law, the Operator does not provide collected information to third parties.
(2) The Service uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its infrastructure, and data is stored and processed on AWS.
(3) In the Steam edition, the Service uses Steam Cloud, provided by Valve, to sync your activity records between your devices. That data is stored in Valve's storage linked to your Steam account, and the Operator cannot access it.

6. Disclosure and Deletion of Information
You may delete your own game data.
(1) In-app deletion: You can delete your account (game data) yourself from "Delete Account" in the "Danger Zone" of the in-game Settings screen. Once you complete the confirmation steps, the corresponding data on the server (save data, battle snapshots, battle history, restore codes, etc.) is deleted. This cannot be undone (a restore code cannot recover it).
(2) Request to the Operator: If you cannot perform the above (for example, if you have lost your device or browser data), you may also request deletion from the Operator. Please contact us at the address below, including identifying information sufficient for identity verification (such as your online display name or restore code). However, due to the nature of the anonymous identifier, we may be unable to respond if we cannot confirm that you are the person concerned.
(3) Activity records on your device and in Steam Cloud: Your activity records (the history of session activity titles) are stored on your device (and, if Steam Cloud is enabled, in Steam Cloud as well) and are not deleted by operations (1) and (2) above. You can delete the records on your device through your device (in the web edition, by clearing your browser data), and the Steam Cloud copy from the Steam client's cloud storage settings. The Operator cannot access them and therefore cannot delete them on your behalf.
Note that records necessary for the proper operation of the Service, such as cheat-detection logs and records of handling reports, may be retained for the retention periods set out in Article 4 even after the deletion described above.

7. Use by Minors
Because the Service does not require registration of personal information such as your name, it can be used regardless of age. Minors should use the Service with the consent of a guardian.

8. Changes to This Policy
The Operator may change this Policy when it deems necessary. If there is a significant change, we will announce it by appropriate means, such as posting on the Service.
