Hood Warfare 2 End User License Agreement

Effective date: November 5, 2026

Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement") carefully. It is a legal agreement between you and Rellhaven Software LLC, which publishes games under the name "Trapstar Games" ("we", "us" or "our"). It covers Hood Warfare 2, its updates, and its online services, including official game servers, matchmaking, progression and moderation systems (together, the "Game").

This Agreement is published at https://trapstargames.net/eula.

1. Accepting this Agreement

By accepting this Agreement through Steam or in the Game, or by installing, launching or playing the Game, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or play the Game. Refunds are handled under Steam's refund policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to play the Game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept this Agreement on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Game.

Your use of Steam is also governed by Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement. Our Privacy Policy, available at https://trapstargames.net/privacypolicy, explains how we handle personal information.

The Privacy Policy is a notice about our practices. It is not a request for your consent to any particular processing.

2. License

Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to install and play a copy of the Game that you lawfully obtained through Steam, on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, including its multiplayer features. Section 10 also allows you to stream and share videos of the Game.

The Game is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors own the Game and all intellectual property rights in it. We reserve all rights that this Agreement does not expressly grant to you.

3. Restrictions

Except as expressly allowed by this Agreement, by a third-party license described in Section 4, or by applicable law that cannot be waived by contract, you may not:

  • copy, sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense or distribute the Game or any part of it;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Game, modify its files, or create derivative works based on it;
  • extract the Game's assets, or the Unreal Engine or other third-party technology contained in the Game, for use in any other product or project;
  • bypass, disable or interfere with Easy Anti-Cheat, Steam licensing, the Game's version checks or any other security or technical protection measure;
  • access our online services by any means other than the Game itself, or create, operate or connect to unauthorized servers or emulators of our online services;
  • use the Game for any unlawful purpose.

4. Third-party software and content

The Game contains software and content owned by third parties, including Unreal Engine, the Epic Online Services SDK and Easy Anti-Cheat, Steamworks, the Discord SDK, and fonts, 3D models, artwork and audio. Some of these components are licensed under open licenses, such as the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) and CC0 licenses. Those components, their authors and their licenses are listed in the ATTRIBUTIONS.txt file in the Game's installation folder.

An open license governs your rights in the component it covers. Nothing in this Agreement limits any right that an open license grants you in that component. The owners of third-party components are not responsible for the Game.

5. Online services, accounts and updates

  • Accounts. The Game requires a Steam account. Online features require an internet connection, our online services and, for protected modes, Easy Anti-Cheat. You are responsible for your Steam account and for all activity under it. Your progression is linked to your Steam account and cannot be moved to a different account.
  • Updates. We may provide updates automatically through Steam. Online play may require the latest version of the Game, and older versions may be blocked from online play.
  • Changes. We may change, add or remove features, content, game modes, maps, weapons, items, game balance and online services at any time.
  • Availability. Online services may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or outages. We may permanently discontinue online services. If we do, we will try to give reasonable advance notice where practical. After online services end, online features and server-stored progression may no longer be available.

6. Progression and virtual items

"Virtual Items" means XP, levels, prestige, unlocks, weapon skins, cosmetic items, challenge progress, statistics and any other in-game item or progress.

  • Virtual Items are licensed to you as part of the Game. You do not own them, and they have no monetary value.
  • Virtual Items cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for money or anything else of value, and cannot be moved between accounts.
  • We may modify, rebalance, reset or remove Virtual Items, including Virtual Items obtained through cheating, exploits, errors or other violations of this Agreement, to correct bugs, when the Game changes, when you ask us to delete your data, or when online services end.
  • Some features, such as prestige, intentionally reset parts of your progression. We cannot undo a reset that you chose.

7. Code of conduct

You must not:

Cheat or exploit

  • use, make, sell or distribute cheats, including aimbots, wallhacks, ESP, or unauthorized macros, automation or modifications that give an unfair advantage;
  • tamper with, bypass or interfere with anti-cheat protections;
  • deliberately exploit bugs or vulnerabilities to gain an unfair advantage or to disrupt gameplay;
  • boost, win-trade, farm XP by collusion or by idling, or play on another person's account;
  • buy, sell or share accounts, or offer services such as boosting in exchange for money or anything of value.

Mistreat other players

  • harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone;
  • use hate speech or slurs, or target anyone based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
  • share sexually explicit content, or any sexual content involving minors;
  • share another person's personal information without their permission;
  • impersonate us, our moderators or another person;
  • use a name that is offensive, hateful or sexually explicit;
  • spam chat or voice;
  • deliberately kill, block or sabotage your own teammates;
  • make false or abusive player reports;
  • encourage anyone to harm themselves or others.

Harm the Game or our services

  • attack, overload or try to gain unauthorized access to our servers or services, or to other players' connections or devices;
  • introduce malware or other harmful code;
  • evade a suspension or ban, including by using another account.

These rules do not prohibit accessibility tools that neither bypass security measures nor give an unfair advantage.

8. Anti-cheat

The Game uses Easy Anti-Cheat ("EAC"), provided by Epic Games, Inc. On Windows, EAC installs a service and a kernel-mode driver that run while the Game is running. Protected online modes and servers require EAC to be installed, up to date and working correctly. If it is not, you may not be able to play those modes or may be removed from matches. EAC can automatically block a player or remove them from a match when it detects a cheat or an integrity problem.

EAC processes information about your device and software as described in our Privacy Policy and in Epic's privacy policy. If you uninstall the Game, you can remove EAC through your operating system's app settings.

9. Communications and player content

  • The Game includes voice and text chat with other players, some of whom you may not know.

We do not pre-screen or monitor all communications, and we are not responsible for what other players say. You are responsible for what you say.

  • Automated filters may block chat messages, mute players, or replace a name with an automatically generated alias.
  • You can mute other players and report them in the Game.
  • You allow us to use the content you submit in the Game, such as names, chat messages and player reports, as needed to operate the Game, moderate it and enforce this Agreement. This permission is non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free.
  • If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

10. Streaming and videos

You may stream, record and share gameplay videos and screenshots of the Game, including in monetized videos and streams through platform partner programs. When you do, you must not:

  • suggest that we endorse or sponsor you or your content;
  • distribute the Game's assets on their own, for example ripped music, models or textures;
  • include content that violates this Agreement or the law.

Some music and other content in the Game may be owned by third parties. We cannot guarantee that a platform's automated copyright system will not flag it. We may ask you to remove content that violates this Agreement.

11. Enforcement and appeals

If we reasonably believe that you have violated this Agreement, we may take action, including:

  • issuing a warning;
  • muting your chat or replacing your name with an alias;
  • removing you from matches;
  • resetting or removing progression or Virtual Items;
  • temporarily suspending you from, or permanently banning you from, the Game's online services;
  • reporting your account to Valve and requesting a Steam game ban.

Serious violations, such as cheating or attacks on our services, may lead to immediate action without warning. We may restrict access temporarily while we investigate a credible report. A technical anti-cheat error alone does not establish that you cheated.

We base enforcement decisions on anti-cheat results, player reports, gameplay statistics and evidence, and review by our team. Valve records Steam game bans on the player's Steam profile, where they are publicly visible, and they can be permanent. Epic may also take action through Easy Anti-Cheat under its own terms.

To appeal an action that you believe was a mistake, email trapstargames@protonmail.com with a link to your Steam profile and the relevant details. We will review appeals in good faith. Subject to applicable law, we may withhold information that would reveal how we detect cheating or would disclose another person's private information.

A ban does not entitle you to a refund. Your rights under applicable law and Steam's refund policy are not affected.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy, available at https://trapstargames.net/privacypolicy, explains what information the Game and its online services collect and how we use it.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your license or your access to online services if you materially violate this Agreement, as described in Section 11, or if the law requires us to. If your license ends, you must stop using the Game.

Sections 3, 4, 6 and 14 to 20 continue to apply after this Agreement ends.

14. Unreal Engine and Epic Materials disclaimer

The Game includes Unreal® Engine, the Epic Online Services SDK including Easy Anti-Cheat, and other code, materials and information supplied by Epic Games, Inc. and its licensors (the "Epic Materials").

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Epic Materials are provided in their existing condition, with all defects and without warranties. We, Epic Games, Inc., its affiliates, and their respective licensors and service providers expressly disclaim all representations, warranties and conditions relating to the Epic Materials, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, satisfactory quality and accuracy.

No representation or warranty is made that the Epic Materials will operate without interruption or errors, be free of harmful components, meet your requirements, or have their defects corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we, Epic Games, Inc., its affiliates, and their respective licensors and service providers disclaim all liability arising from or relating to the Epic Materials or their use in the Game. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special and punitive damages, lost profits and lost data, regardless of the legal theory asserted.

These exclusions do not apply to rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Epic Games, Inc., its affiliates, and their respective licensors and service providers are intended third-party beneficiaries of this Section 14.

15. General warranty disclaimer

In Sections 15 and 16, "Protected Parties" means Rellhaven Software LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors and authorized representatives, in each case acting in connection with the development, publication, operation or support of the Game.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE GAME, INCLUDING ITS UPDATES AND ONLINE SERVICES, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". THE PROTECTED PARTIES DISCLAIM ALL REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE GAME, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND SATISFACTORY QUALITY.

Subject to any obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Protected Parties do not warrant:

  • that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or configuration;
  • that the Game will be free from security vulnerabilities or harmful components;
  • that every defect will be corrected;
  • that online services, matchmaking, player progress or any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

Nothing in this section excludes any mandatory warranty, obligation to provide updates, consumer guarantee or remedy that applies under applicable law.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PROTECTED PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE GAME, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF ALL PROTECTED PARTIES TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE GAME WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  • US $100; OR
  • THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME AND ITS ASSOCIATED CONTENT DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

This is one combined limit for all Protected Parties, not a separate limit for each of them.

These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. They do not restrict mandatory consumer remedies or applicable refund rights.

The Protected Parties other than Rellhaven Software LLC are intended third-party beneficiaries of Sections 15 and 16 and may enforce those sections to the extent permitted by law.

17. Consumer rights

Nothing in this Agreement limits your mandatory rights as a consumer, or excludes liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country that gives consumers mandatory rights, those rights apply in addition to this Agreement. Steam's terms and refund policy also continue to apply.

18. Governing law and disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at trapstargames@protonmail.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.

Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be decided exclusively by the state or federal courts located in the State of California, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

If you are a consumer and the laws of the country where you live give you the right to bring claims in your local courts or to rely on your local consumer protection laws, nothing in this section takes away those rights.

19. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://trapstargames.net/eula and change the effective date. If a change is material, we will give notice in the Game, on our Steam page or in a Steam announcement. A material change takes effect no sooner than 14 days after we give that notice, unless the change is required by law or is needed to address a security issue. We may ask you to accept the updated Agreement again in the Game or through Steam.

If you do not agree to a change, you must stop using the Game. If you continue to use the Game after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Agreement.

20. General terms

  • Entire agreement. This Agreement, together with the terms it refers to, is the entire agreement between you and us about the Game. It replaces any earlier agreements about the Game.
  • Severability. If a court finds any part of this Agreement unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the rest of this Agreement remains in effect.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of this Agreement, we have not waived our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. We may transfer this Agreement to an affiliate or to a successor to the Game.

You may not transfer this Agreement or your license.

  • Third-party beneficiaries. No one other than you and us has rights under this Agreement, except the third-party beneficiaries named in Sections 14, 15 and 16.
  • Language. If this Agreement is translated, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law.
