The licence for Second Screen Gaming, in plain language. Installing or using the app means you agree to it. The current version is always at https://secondscreengaming.app/terms/
What you get
Second Screen Gaming is published by RoboKick. Buying it gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use it on Windows PCs you control, for your own use. You may not sell, rent or redistribute it, and you may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except where the law lets you regardless of this clause. The store you bought it from handles the purchase, refunds and updates under its own terms.Your games are your responsibility
The app changes settings of games you choose, moves and resizes their windows, and, only when you turn such an option on and acknowledge the warning, loads a helper into a running game. Every game has its own terms of service, and many online games run anti-cheat software. It is your responsibility to check that using this app with a game is allowed, and you accept the consequences if it is not, which can include a ban. The app switches its helpers off where it detects anti-cheat, but that detection is not a guarantee.Sold as is
The app is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It is not guaranteed to work with any particular game, engine, controller or monitor setup, and a game that works today may stop working after that game updates. Where consumer law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights are not affected.Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, RoboKick's total liability for anything arising from the app or these terms is limited to the price you paid for it, and RoboKick is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost game progress, lost data, account bans or lost time.Features can change
RoboKick may change, remove or discontinue any feature, or the whole app, at any time, and is not obliged to keep supporting any game, engine or version of Windows.Third-party components
The app ships with third-party components under their own licences, included as notice files next to the app. One of them, the Microsoft GameInput Redistributable, requires that you agree to the following:- The GameInput component is licensed, not sold, and you may use it only as part of Second Screen Gaming. You may not distribute it on its own, work around its technical limitations, remove or alter Microsoft's notices in it, or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except as the law permits.
- The GameInput component is provided as is. Microsoft and its suppliers give no warranties, guarantees or conditions for it, and are not liable for any damages arising from it, including direct, consequential, lost profits, special, indirect or incidental damages, to the extent the law allows.
- Microsoft is a third-party beneficiary of this section and may enforce it.
Changes to these terms
