DONATELLO END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
By installing or using Donatello ("Software"), you agree to the following terms.
1. LICENSE GRANT
Donatello Studio grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to
install and use the Software on machines you own or control, for your own
personal or studio production purposes.
2. RESTRICTIONS
You may not:
(a) use the Software, its source code, core (C++), sidecar (Python), or any
part of its architecture to develop, feed, train, or provide asset
generation services to third parties — including public APIs, SaaS
platforms, cloud generation services, bots, or any automated service
that competes with Donatello;
(b) reverse-engineer or decompile the proprietary components of the Software;
(c) sublicense or resell the Software or its outputs as a generation service.
3. AI-GENERATED OUTPUT
The Software uses AI models to automate asset creation. Results are not
guaranteed to be perfect or optimal and may require human review and editing.
Donatello Studio makes no warranty regarding the suitability of generated
assets for any particular purpose.
4. USER-OWNED OUTPUT
You retain 100% ownership of all assets, rigs, and files you create with
the Software, provided you hold all necessary rights to any input materials
(3D models, textures, animations) you supply.
5. INPUT RESPONSIBILITY
You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold the required copyrights,
licenses, or permissions for all input materials. Donatello Studio is not
liable for intellectual property infringements arising from inputs you do
not have the right to use.
6. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
The Software incorporates open-source components under permissive licenses
(MIT, BSD, Apache 2.0). The GPL-licensed Blender API (bpy) is used
exclusively through a separately distributed command-line sidecar process.

7. EXPORT FORMAT DISCLAIMER
Spine and DragonBones are third-party formats. Exporting to these formats
does not grant any license to their respective runtimes. If you use exported
Spine data with the official Spine Runtime, you are responsible for obtaining
a valid Spine license from Esoteric Software LLC.
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL DONATELLO STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM,
DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
