Powder Park — End User License Agreement
Company: CatZAI LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as The Cat's Eye Studio ("Company," "we," "us"), 14630 173rd Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072.
Game: Powder Park (the "Game"), distributed via Steam.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Company grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the Game for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You are licensing the Game, not purchasing it — Company retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Game, including all intellectual property rights therein.
2. Ownership
The Game, including all art, code, music, and other content, is owned by Company (or its licensors) and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership interest in the Game.
3. Online Play and Conduct
This section applies when you use the Game's multiplayer, co-op building, or chat ("Online Features").
Age. You must be at least 13 to use Online Features, the same minimum age Steam requires for its accounts.
Conduct. When using Online Features, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other players.
- Post, draw, or name anything illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, or discriminatory, including with the path tool or in chat.
- Impersonate Company, its staff, or other players.
- Spam, advertise, or solicit.
- Cheat, exploit, or use unauthorized third-party software that affects other players.
- Share another person's private information without consent.
- Grief a map you were invited to: deliberately demolish, vandalize, or ruin the host's work.
- Try to get around moderation, filters, or a ban.
This list is examples, not a limit. Company may act against any conduct it reasonably believes harms the community.
Moderation. Company may filter or remove content and may mute, suspend, or ban any player from Online Features at any time, with or without notice. There is no formal appeal process, but Company may reverse an action at its discretion.
Chat. Chat is filtered through Steam's text filter tools and is visible only to other players in the same session. Company does not record chat, so it cannot review past messages. Any player can mute any other player. The host of a map controls who can edit it and can remove (kick) players from it. To report abuse, email info@thecatseye.studio with a screenshot.
Other players. Company does not control other players' conduct or content. You use Online Features at your own risk, and Company is not responsible for other players' conduct or content, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Copy, redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the Game or any part of it, except as permitted by Steam's own terms (e.g. gifting via Steam's platform features).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
- Use the Game for any commercial purpose without Company's prior written consent.
Conduct in multiplayer and chat is covered in Section 3 above.
5. No Warranty
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE GAME. COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE GAME WILL NOT EXCEED US$19.99.
7. Unreal® Engine and Other Epic Games Materials
The Game includes the Unreal® Engine code and other code, materials, and information (the “Epic Materials”) from Epic Games, Inc. (“Epic”). All Epic Materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, “with all faults” and without warranty of any kind. Company, Epic, and Epic’s affiliates disclaim all warranties, conditions, common law duties, and representations (express, implied, oral, and written) with respect to the Epic Materials, including without limitation all express, implied, and statutory warranties and conditions of any kind, such as title, non-interference with your enjoyment, authority, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness or suitability for any purpose (whether or not Epic knows or has reason to know of any such purpose), system integration, accuracy or completeness, results, reasonable care, workmanlike effort, lack of negligence, and lack of viruses, whether alleged to arise under law, by reason of custom or usage in the trade, or by course of dealing. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Company, Epic, and Epic’s affiliates make no warranty that (1) any of the Epic Materials will operate properly, including as integrated in the Game, (2) that the Epic Materials will meet your requirements, (3) that the operation of the Epic Materials will be uninterrupted, bug free, or error free in any or all circumstances, (4) that any defects in the Epic Materials can or will be corrected, (5) that the Epic Materials are or will be in compliance with a platform manufacturer’s rules or requirements, or (6) that a platform manufacturer has approved or will approve the Game, or will not revoke approval of the Game for any or no reason. Any warranty against infringement that may be provided in Section 2-312 of the Uniform Commercial Code or in any other comparable statute is expressly disclaimed by Company and Epic. Company, Epic, and Epic’s affiliates do not guarantee continuous, error-free, virus-free, or secure operation of or access to the Epic Materials. This paragraph will apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither Company, Epic, Epic’s licensors, nor its or their affiliates, nor any of Company’s or Epic’s service providers, shall be liable in any way for loss or damage of any kind resulting from the use or inability to use the Epic Materials or otherwise in connection with this Agreement, including but not limited to loss of goodwill, work stoppage, computer failure, or malfunction, or any and all other commercial damages or losses. In no event will Company, Epic, Epic’s licensors, nor its or their affiliates, nor any of Company’s or Epic’s service providers be liable for any loss of profits or any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or any other damages arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or the Epic Materials, or the delay or inability to use or lack of functionality of the Epic Materials, even in the event of Company’s, Epic’s, or Epic’s affiliates’ fault, tort (including negligence), strict liability, indemnity, product liability, breach of contract, breach of warranty, or otherwise and even if Company, Epic or Epic’s affiliates have been advised of the possibility of such damages. These limitations and exclusions regarding damages apply even if any remedy fails to provide adequate compensation.
Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, the liability of Company, Epic, Epic’s licensors, its and their affiliates, and any of Company’s or Epic’s service providers shall be limited to the full extent permitted by law.
You may not extract the Epic Materials from the Game or use them in any other product, service, or project.
8. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Game and destroy all copies in your possession, subject to Steam's own account/library terms.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Relationship to Other Documents
This Agreement includes our Privacy Policy, which follows below and describes the information we collect and how to request its deletion.
11. Changes to This Agreement
Company may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

Powder Park — Privacy Policy
Company: CatZAI LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as The Cat's Eye Studio ("Company," "we," "us"), 14630 173rd Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072.
Game: Powder Park (the "Game").
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes what information Company collects from players of the Game, why, how long it's kept, and how to request its deletion. It applies to the Game and any associated online features (cloud saves, game statistics, multiplayer, chat, Discord activity status, and bug reports you choose to send).
2. Information We Collect
- Steam ID and player name — used to run multiplayer sessions. On the community map, leaderboard entries are cleared every night when the server reboots.
- Cloud save data — stored by Steam (Steam Cloud), tied to your Steam account.
- Game statistics — gameplay counters the Game reports to Steam. We see only global totals; per-account values stay with Steam, which keeps a 60-day daily history. We use no separate analytics service.
- Bug reports (only if you send one) — your save file, a screenshot, your description, any name or contact you choose to type, an anonymous per-install ID, and game version info. The report form shows what will be sent before you submit, and nothing is uploaded until you do. Reports are kept for 45 days. Release builds attach no log file.
- Server logs — the community server keeps technical logs that include player display names (not Steam IDs or IP addresses). The ten most recent logs are kept, roughly ten days because the server restarts nightly, and the nightly reboot does not clear them. Join notices with display names also go to a private team Discord channel, where they stay until deleted. A separate supervisor log, which is never rotated, records a display name only when a join notice fails to send.
- Discord activity status (sent by the Game; on by default) — if the Discord desktop app is running on your computer, the Game sends your local Discord app a status that Discord may show on your Discord profile to people who can see it: "Playing Powder Park," your park name (text you choose), a line such as "Day N · X guests" or where you are in the menus, when your session started, and the Game's artwork. To turn this off, go to Settings → "Show my activity on Discord." The Game has no Discord sign-in or account linking and receives no Discord account data. Discord is an independent controller of what it receives; its own privacy policy governs what Discord does with it.
- Crash and error reports (sent through BugSplat). If the Game crashes, a window asks whether to send a crash report. That window's wording comes from the game engine and says the report goes to Epic Games. In fact it is sent to us, through our crash-reporting provider, BugSplat; Epic does not receive it. A report is sent only if you click Send. Some non-fatal internal errors also send a report automatically, without asking. A report contains the items listed just below.
A crash report contains:
- a snapshot of the Game's memory at the moment of the error (the "minidump"), which may incidentally include whatever the Game was holding at that moment, such as your park name or recent chat text;
- the Game's log file for that session, if the build writes one;
- technical details: the Game's version and build, the Steam build number, your operating system, hardware (CPU, GPU, memory), and an anonymous identifier the game engine generates for your computer;
- your IP address, which BugSplat's servers see when the report is uploaded.
We use crash reports only to find and fix bugs. You can turn crash reporting off at any time in Settings → Send crash reports; the Game then sends no reports, automatic or otherwise, and does not show the crash window.
We do not log or store chat messages, and the Game has no voice chat. Text chat is filtered through Steam's text filter tools and is visible only to other players in the same session.
We do not collect any other categories of personal information beyond what's listed above.
3. How We Use Information
Solely to operate the Game's online features and fix problems: running multiplayer sessions and leaderboards, syncing cloud saves (through Steam), counting gameplay statistics (through Steam), investigating bug reports you send, diagnosing and fixing crashes and errors from crash reports, and showing your activity status on Discord if you leave that setting on. We do not use this information for any other purpose.
Service providers. Crash reports are processed for us by BugSplat, LLC (United States), which stores them and turns them into readable error information for our developers. BugSplat acts on our instructions in handling the reports. It may also use aggregated data that does not identify you to improve its own service.
4. No Sale or Third-Party Advertising
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We do not use any data from Discord for profiling or to train AI, and we do not receive Discord account data.
5. Data Retention
- Community server session data and leaderboards: cleared at the server's nightly reboot.
- Bug reports: 45 days.
- Cloud saves and game statistics: held by Steam under its own policies.
- Server logs: the ten most recent are kept (roughly ten days). Join notices in the private team Discord channel stay until deleted.
- Crash reports: deleted automatically after one month.
6. Your Rights & Deletion Requests
We keep very little about you. Your game data stays on your computer or in Steam, and our community server stores no player data beyond a nightly-cleared session. If you'd like us to delete anything we do hold, such as a bug report you sent, email info@thecatseye.studio. We will respond within 30 days.
- Your cloud saves and game statistics are held by Steam; you can delete cloud saves yourself through Steam, without contacting us.
- Leaderboard entries clear automatically every night.
- Crash reports are not tied to your Steam account, so we may not be able to identify which ones are yours. They are deleted automatically within the period listed under Data Retention above. If you can tell us roughly when a crash happened, we will look for it and delete it.
This process is intended to satisfy GDPR and CCPA/CPRA deletion-request obligations.
7. Children's Privacy
The Game's multiplayer and chat features are for players 13 and older, the same minimum age Steam requires for its accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what Steam supplies. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will stop any further collection and delete what we hold on request.
8. International Users
We are based in the United States, and our crash-reporting provider, BugSplat, processes crash reports in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your crash report information is transferred there.
9. Relationship to Other Documents
This Privacy Policy is part of the same agreement as the End User License Agreement above, which also sets the rules for online play.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Game's online features after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
