Lineage 2 Essence User and License Agreement for Steam
14 October 2026Please read this Agreement (including its Annexes) carefully before confirming your acceptance of it when launching the Game through Steam. The Agreement may only be accepted in its entirety. By accepting this Agreement, you confirm that you are legally capable and authorized to enter into it and that your equipment, communication facilities and internet connection are sufficient for using the Game and Game Client.
This Lineage 2 Essence User and License Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs the relationship between Innova Co. S.à r.l. (“Innova”) and the User regarding the use of Lineage 2 Essence (the “Game”) and the Game Client distributed through the Steam platform.
Use of the Inn.games Application required to launch the Game through Steam is governed by Annex No. 2 (Inn.games Terms of Use for Steam), which forms an integral part of this Agreement.
1. General Provisions
1.1. Innova provides entertaining (leisure) services (the “Services”) subject to this Agreement.
1.2. The Game is distributed and purchased through Steam. Additional fee-based features, items, virtual currency and packs (“Fee-based Services”) are optional and may be purchased in accordance with Clause 3.4.
To access the Game through Steam, the User must have a Steam Account, purchase the Game through Steam and use the Inn.games Application required for the Steam version. The User Account is free of charge and is used for registration and Game-related information.
The Inn.games Application and the registration, authentication and management of the User Account are governed by Annex No. 2 (Inn.games Terms of Use for Steam), which forms an integral part of this Agreement.
1.3. Users who have not reached the age of majority under applicable law may not play the Game, participate in the Game Process or enter into this Agreement without obtaining the prior consent and involvement of their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives, as applicable.
Innova may request confirmation of the representative’s legal status and consent and may contact the representative directly. Pending such confirmation, the Game’s Services may be suspended.
PEGI or other age ratings indicate the age group for which the Game content is considered suitable and do not determine a User’s legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
1.4. The Services are provided only to Users located within the Territory. Users outside the Territory are not entitled to use the Services.
1.5. Processing and protection of Users’ personal and other protected information are governed by the Privacy Policy available at https://eu.4game.com/legal/4game/7/.
1.6. The Game is distributed through Steam, a digital distribution platform operated by Valve Corporation (“Valve”). The User’s use of Steam, including the purchase of the Game and Fee-based Services through Steam and the use of Steam Wallet, is subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and other applicable Steam policies.
(a) Upon launching the Game through Steam for the first time, the User will be prompted to accept this Agreement including its Annexes, after which the Inn.games Application will open for registration or login. Registration requires an email address and password and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy.
(b) The functionality of the version of the Inn.games Application launched via the Steam version of the Game is described in Clause 1.5 of Annex No. 2. Its use is governed by the Inn.games Terms of Use for Steam.
(c) The User Account and Steam Account are separate accounts. Innova may associate the User’s Steam ID with the User Account for authentication, verification of the User’s entitlement to access the Game, attribution of transactions processed through Steam, and delivery of content purchased through Steam to the relevant User Account. Such association does not make the Steam Account and the User Account the same account or give Innova access to the User’s Steam credentials.
1.7. This Agreement consists of its main text, Annex No. 1 (Game Rules) and Annex No. 2 (Inn.games Terms of Use for Steam), which the User accepts together in a single acceptance.
The main text and Annex No. 1 govern the Game, Game Client, Game Process, Game Services, Fee-based Services, related purchases and refunds, and sanctions relating to the Game. Annex No. 2 governs the Inn.games Application, Inn.games Service and the registration, authentication and management of the User Account.
In case of conflict, the main text prevails, except that Annex No. 2 prevails with respect to the license for and technical use of the Inn.games Application and the operation of Inn,games Service, including registration, authentication and management of the User Account, to the extent that this does not conflict with provisions of the main text governing purchases, refunds, sanctions or termination of this Agreement.
Capitalized terms used in this Agreement and defined in Annex No. 2 have the meanings given there.

3. Services Description
3.1. In accordance with this Agreement, Innova shall provide:
(a) access to the Game subject to the User’s compliance with this Agreement and related agreements;

3.3. The Services shall generally be available on a permanent basis, with availability of no less than 85%, excluding scheduled technical maintenance and other interruptions expressly permitted under this Agreement.
In exceptional cases, Innova may interrupt the Services without prior notice where reasonably necessary to prevent or address technical problems affecting the Game, Game servers or Services, and shall use reasonable efforts to restore the Services as soon as practicable.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the User shall not be entitled to claim damages solely as a result of an interruption of the Services.
3.4. The Game is purchased and paid for exclusively through Steam, using the payment methods supported by Steam, including Steam Wallet, as further described in Clause 1.6.
Fee-based Services, including in-game items, virtual currency and Premium Account, may be purchased either through Steam or through the Inn.games Web-Store. The Inn.games Web-Store is accessed via a link provided within the Game that opens in an external web browser, outside the Steam client. For purchases made through the Inn.games Web-Store by Users accessing the Game through Steam, the applicable transaction is processed through the Inn.games Web-Store using the payment methods made available there. Upon successful confirmation of a purchase made through Steam or the Inn.games Web-Store, Innova shall credit the purchased content to the corresponding User Account.
3.5. Innova uses Frost software as part of the Game Client for technical protection of the Game, prevention of cheating, fraud and unauthorized software, protection of intellectual property, security and collection of statistical information for the development and improvement of Frost and the Game. Frost may operate in a manner similar to anti-virus or anti-spyware software. The User cannot access the Game if Frost is deleted or modified.
3.6. In connection with Test Servers, Innova may delete or reset any content, components, information, data, characters or items without restoration, compensation or refund.
4. Innova’s Rights and Obligations
4.1. Innova shall keep confidential the User Account registration data and other User information, except as required or permitted by applicable law.
4.2. Innova shall provide Users with information about amendments to this Agreement and its Annexes and about the Services in accordance with Section 8.

These documents are fully incorporated into this Agreement by reference and form an integral part hereof. Innova reserves the right to apply any sanctions specified therein.
4.6. Innova may change the prices of Fee-based Services. Updated prices shall be displayed in the applicable purchase interface. A price change shall not require the User to pay any difference for Services already purchased and shall not give rise to a refund solely because the price subsequently changes.
4.7. Refunds for purchases completed through Steam (including the Game and eligible in-game transactions) are governed exclusively by Steam’s refund policies and procedures, without prejudice to mandatory statutory rights.
For purchases completed directly through the Inn.games Web-Store, all payments are final and non-refundable, except as expressly provided by applicable mandatory law or this Agreement.
Notwithstanding the above, no refunds, cash equivalents, or compensation will be provided by Innova under any circumstances, except as expressly provided by applicable mandatory law:
(a) if the User is dissatisfied with the Game or the Game does not meet the User's expectations;

4.8. By initiating a purchase of the Fee-based Services through the Inn.games Web-Store, the User requests the immediate performance of the contract and immediate delivery of the content. Under applicable consumer protection laws (including EU Directive 2011/83/EU), the User’s statutory right of withdrawal in respect of digital content may be lost from the moment the purchased item, currency, or service is made available in their User Account, provided that all requirements prescribed by applicable law for such exclusion have been satisfied.
4.9. Innova provides User support through the support tools available at: https://support.eu.4game.com/.
4.10. Innova may conduct promotional contests, events, tournaments and other activities as part of the Game Process. Such activities may be subject to special rules and conditions. The User must comply with this Agreement and may be subject to applicable Game penalties and sanctions during such activities.
5. Rights and Obligations of the User
5.1. Subject to the User’s compliance with this Agreement, Innova grants the User a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive and revocable license to use the Game and Game Client and to download, install and use the Game Client on compatible devices owned or controlled by the User, solely to access and use the Game as permitted by this Agreement. The license includes the right to receive and use updates, patches and additional Game Client components provided by Innova. All rights not expressly granted to the User are reserved by Innova and/or the Right Holder.
5.2. The User shall provide Innova with true, accurate, complete, current and relevant information when registering the User Account, using the Services and submitting requests or other communications. 5.4. The User shall respect the intellectual property and other rights of Innova, the Right Holder and third parties and shall ensure that any content or other materials posted by the User are lawful.
5.5. In using the Services or Game Client, the User shall not:

(b) copy, reproduce, rent, lease, sell, trade, sublicense or otherwise distribute the Game Client, Game assets or proprietary information;
(c) use or install the Game Client in a manner that circumvents Steam’s or Innova’s access controls or applicable licensing restrictions;
(d) use the Game or Services for unauthorized commercial purposes, including selling, purchasing, trading or advertising in-game items, currency, characters or User Account for real money or other value outside the Game;
(e) develop, use or distribute cheats, bots, hacks, unauthorized mods or other third-party software intended to obtain an unfair advantage, interfere with the Game or exploit errors or vulnerabilities;
(f) disable, circumvent or interfere with security, copy protection or authentication technologies, including Frost;
(g) obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorized access to the Services, the Game Client, accounts, systems, networks or data;
(h) use the Game Client to develop or operate other software or a service that interacts with or is based on the Game Client;
(i) impersonate others, engage in fraud or harassment, threaten others, transmit malicious code or impose an unreasonable load on the infrastructure;
(j) create, reproduce, distribute or publicly perform unauthorized derivative works based on the Game’s intellectual property;
(k) remove, alter or falsify intellectual property notices; or
(l) transfer, sell, gift or otherwise assign the User’s account or related rights, or use the Game Client in any manner not otherwise expressly permitted by this Agreement.
Any action listed above constitutes a material breach and may result in immediate termination of access to the Services and Game Client without refund or compensation, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5.6. The User shall keep their account data, Login and Password confidential and shall be responsible for losses resulting from failure to do so.
5.7. The User warrants that they are entitled to use the selected payment method in accordance with applicable law and shall bear any losses resulting from the use of payment methods or accounts not belonging to them.
5.8. The User may subscribe to advertising and promotional communications from Innova and may withdraw such subscription.
5.9. For questions or problems relating to the Game, Game Process, sanctions or technical issues, the User may contact the help desk at https://support.eu.4game.com/. 8. Miscellaneous
8.1. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
8.1.1. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Luxembourg, without regard to conflict of law principles, provided that a consumer retains the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country of habitual residence where and if applicable. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg City, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
8.1.2. Before initiating court proceedings, the User and Innova shall attempt to resolve the dispute informally for sixty (60) days after receipt of a Notice of Dispute.
8.1.3. A Notice of Dispute shall be sent in writing to the relevant Party’s designated contact details and shall include the complainant’s name and contact information, the nature and basis of the dispute, and the relief sought. For disputes that cannot be resolved through customer support, the User shall send the notice to Innova at innova@inn.eu before initiating court proceedings.
8.1.4. For Users residing in the European Union, the User may have access to applicable consumer dispute resolution mechanisms in accordance with applicable law.
8.1.5. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna, 1980) shall not apply.
8.2. Waiver. Failure by Innova to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of that right or prevent Innova from exercising it later.
8.3. Applicable Law for Unregulated Matters. Any matters not expressly addressed by this Agreement shall be governed by applicable law.
8.4. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held ineffective or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8.7.1. Any statutory right of withdrawal is governed by applicable law. In respect of digital content purchased through the Inn.games Web-Store, any loss of the right of withdrawal is subject to Clause 4.8 and satisfaction of all applicable statutory requirements.
8.7.2. The User may terminate this Agreement by using one of the following methods:
(a) By uninstalling the Game Client and the Inn.games Application and deleting all their archive copies from the User’s device. In this case, this Agreement and the licence to access and use the Game shall terminate upon complete removal of the Game Client and the Inn.games Application. Uninstalling the Game Client and the Inn.games Application does not itself delete or deactivate the User Account; or
(b) By submitting a written request to Innova’s support service at https://support.eu.4game.com/ to delete the User Account. Upon completion of the account deletion, this Agreement and the license to access and use the Game through that User Account shall terminate.
Uninstalling the Game Client or deleting the User Account does not by itself terminate the User’s Steam Account or any separate agreements with Valve. Refunds for purchases processed via Steam shall be governed exclusively by applicable Steam refund procedures and policies.
8.8. Termination and Suspension by Innova
8.8.1. Innova may terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part (including with respect to specific territories or features of the Game), unilaterally and extrajudicially at any time without stating reasons by notifying the User at least fifteen (15) days before the termination date via a notice published on the Game’s Steam store page (or Steam hub), and/or sent to the User’s email address associated with the User Account.
8.8.2. Innova may terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, immediately and without prior notice in any of the following events:
(a) if the User breaches this Agreement (including Section 5 and the License Restrictions in Clause 4.3 of Annex No. 2), the Game Rules, the Inn.games Terms of Use for Steam, the Violations and Penalties and Cases documents, any other agreement with Innova, or any terms incorporated herein by reference, or engages in fraudulent activity or payment fraud (Innova shall not be required to provide the User with evidence of such breach);
(b) in the event of termination, expiry, or restriction of Innova’s rights or licenses necessary to operate or distribute the Game;
(c) where required by governmental or regulatory requirements or legal prohibitions; or
(d) upon termination of the User Account or its permanent removal under Annex No. 2. A temporary suspension or restriction of access to the User Account shall be governed by Clause 8.8.3 and shall not, by itself, terminate this Agreement.
8.8.3. Innova may suspend the Services, block or restrict access to the Game Client or the User Account where reasonably necessary, including for investigation of suspected violations, upon a request or order from governmental authorities, in response to claims concerning minors, suspected payment fraud, or to comply with applicable law or security policies.
8.8.4. Upon termination or expiry of this Agreement for any reason whatsoever under this Section 8 (including termination by Innova with or without cause, permanent blocking, or revocation of access), all rights and licenses granted to the User shall immediately cease. Innova shall have no liability or obligation to provide any refunds, cash equivalents, or compensation for unused virtual items, in-game currency, except as explicitly required by applicable mandatory law or applicable Steam policies.
8.8.5. A permanent ban from the Game or termination or removal of the User Account shall constitute immediate termination of this Agreement. Upon any termination, or expiry of this Agreement, the User shall promptly remove and uninstall the Game Client and the Inn.games Application and any archive copies from the User’s device.
8.9. Amendments. Innova may amend or supplement this Agreement, including its license terms and Annexes, by publishing the updated version on the Game Website. Unless otherwise stated, amendments shall take effect no earlier than seven (7) calendar days after publication. If the User disagrees with an amendment, the User may notify Innova through a support ticket in which case the Agreement shall terminate as of the effective date of the amendment. Continued use of the Game after the amendment becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
Special rules may apply to promotional events where Users receive in-Game benefits, bonuses or privileges.
8.10. Assignment. The User may not assign any rights or obligations under this Agreement, including the license granted in Section 5, to third parties. Innova may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under this Agreement to third parties and may engage third parties to provide the Services or parts thereof, including payment processing.
8.11. Term. This Agreement shall remain effective for six (6) months from acceptance and shall automatically renew for successive six-month periods unless either Party gives five (5) days’ prior notice of non-renewal.
Termination of this Agreement shall automatically terminate the User’s license under Section 5, Annex No. 1 (Game Rules), Annex No. 2 (Inn.games Terms of Use for Steam) and the license for the Inn.games Application, and the User’s right to use the Services and the Game Client. Termination of the Inn.games Terms for Steam under Section 6 thereof constitutes termination of this Agreement.
8.12. Sanctions. The User shall comply with applicable export and sanctions laws and shall not use the Services in violation of applicable sanctions. Innova may suspend or terminate the Agreement immediately where the User’s use of the Services would result in a violation of applicable sanctions laws.
8.13. Steam Platform Terms. The Steam Subscriber Agreement and applicable Steam policies govern the User’s Steam Account, the purchase of the Game and Fee-based Services through Steam, Steam Wallet, and transactions processed through Steam. Suspension or termination of the User’s Steam Account by Valve may affect the User’s ability to access the Game through Steam. Annex No. 2 to the Lineage 2 Essence User and License Agreement for Steam
Inn.games Terms of Use for Steam
This is the Steam-specific version of the Inn.games Terms of Use. A different version of these Terms, available on the Website, governs the standalone version of the Inn.games Application downloaded directly from the Website (see Clause 1.4).
This Annex forms an integral part of the Agreement and is accepted by the User together with it in accordance with Clause 1.6(a) of the Agreement.
In this Annex, “these Terms” mean this Annex only, and “the Agreement” means the Lineage 2 Essence User and License Agreement for Steam, including its Annexes. Clause and Section references in this Annex refer to this Annex unless the Agreement is mentioned. Capitalized terms not defined in this Annex have the meaning given in the Agreement; if a term is defined in both, the definition in the Agreement prevails.
Recitals
This Agreement governs the relationship between Innova and the User regarding the User’s access to and use of the Inn.games Service and Inn.games Application in connection with the Game purchased and accessed via the Steam platform.
1. General Provisions
1.1. Terms used in this Annex
“Inn.games Service” or “Inn.games” means the online services provided by Innova in connection with registration, authentication and management of the User Account and access to the Game.
Inn.games Application means the software component that the User is required to download and install in order to launch and play the Game purchased through Steam, used to create and/or access a User Account, download, update and launch the Game, complete registration, enter into the applicable User and License Agreement, and access and participate in the Game, including built-in security tools. The functionality of this version of Inn.games Application is described in Clause 1.5.
“User Account” has the meaning given in Clause 2.14 of the Agreement. It also enables the User to access, through the Standalone Inn.games Application only, other game projects (Clause 1.10). Each User Account has a unique ID.
User Account information is available only after authorization. The User may create and use the User Account solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
“Website” has the meaning given in Clause 2.8 of the Agreement.
“Game” has the meaning given in Clause 2.4 of the Agreement.
“Steam” means the digital distribution platform operated by Valve through which the Game is purchased and accessed. Launching the Game through Steam requires downloading and installing Inn.games Application, as described in Clause 1.3.
“Steam Account” means the User’s account with Valve used to access Steam. The Steam Account is separate from the User Account, although Innova may associate the User’s Steam ID with the User Account for the purposes specified in Clause 1.6(c) of the Agreement.
“Territory” means the territory defined in the User and License Agreement for Steam applicable to the Game.
1.2. To use Inn.games Service, the User must lawfully use Inn.games Application in accordance with the License Terms set out in Section 4 of this Agreement.
1.3. The Game is purchased through Steam. The Inn.games Application is required to download, update and launch the Game Client. The first-launch acceptance procedure is set out in Clause 1.6(a) of the Agreement.
1.4. Inn.games Application is also made available, separately from Steam, in a full-featured version for direct download from the Website (the “Standalone Inn.games Application”), used to access game projects other than the Game purchased through Steam. Where the User downloads or uses the Standalone Inn.games Application, these Terms do not apply to that use, and the standard version of the Inn.games Terms of Use published on the Website governs it instead.
1.5. The version of Inn.games Application installed when launching the Game through Steam provides the following functionality: downloading, updating and launching the Game; viewing the availability status of Inn.games Service and the User’s nickname or email; and accessing Support.
It does not provide the ability to deposit funds into the User Account, or access to games or game projects other than the Game purchased through Steam.
1.6. Following acceptance of the Agreement and registration or login to the User Account, the User may download and install the Game Client through the Inn.games Application.
1.7. Access to the Game purchased through Steam is provided by associating the User’s Steam ID with the User Account. The Steam Account and the User Account remain separate accounts.
1.8. Innova may assign the User Account a platform identifier recording that the User registered or logged in while playing the Game purchased through Steam, for internal account-management purposes.
1.9. Inn.games Application, when installed to play the Game purchased through Steam, provides access only to that Game. Access to other game projects published by Innova or its affiliates requires use of the Standalone Inn.games Application.
1.10. The User shall ensure that the equipment, software, communication services and Internet connection used to access Inn.games Application meet the applicable technical requirements published on Steam and/or the Website.
1.11. All exclusive rights in Inn.games Application are protected by applicable law and international treaties.
2. Terms and Conditions on the Use of Inn.games Service
2.1. By accepting the Agreement (including this Annex), the User confirms that:
- he/she has the technical ability and Internet connection necessary to use Inn.games Service;
- he/she shall personally perform this Agreement and shall not assign its rights or obligations or involve third parties as co-executors; and
- he/she accepts all terms of the Agreement without exceptions or provisos.
2.2. Payment Terms and In-Game Purchases
2.2.1. Payment terms, the purchase of the Game and Fee-based Services through Steam or the Inn.games Web-Store and the crediting of purchased content to the User Account are governed by Clauses 1.6, 3.4 and 4.6–4.8 of the Agreement.
3. User’s Rights and Obligations
3.1. The User shall have the right, after due authorization, to access the information contained in the User Account.
3.2. The User shall keep confidential all information relating to the User Account, including login and other access credentials, and shall be liable for their disclosure or failure to protect them.
3.3. The User shall use only lawful payment methods to which they are entitled: the payment methods made available through Steam for purchases made through Steam, or the payment methods made available on the Inn.games Web-Store, as described in Clause 2.2. Innova shall not be liable for damage caused to third parties or other Users as a result of unauthorized or unlawful use of payment methods or funds by the User.
3.4. The User shall not:
- infringe the intellectual property rights of Innova or third parties while using Inn.games Service;
- illegally bypass or disable any security tools referred to in this Agreement; or
- obtain any unauthorized benefit from the use of Inn.games Service.
3.5. In case of technical problems, the User may contact the support service through the User’s authorized account at support.eu.4game.com.
4. License Terms (Use of Inn.games Application)
4.1. Inn.games Application is required to access and use the Game as described in Section 1.
4.2. License Grant
4.2.1. Innova grants the User a free, personal, non-commercial license to:
- install Inn.games Application on User’s PC (device); and
- launch and use Inn.games Application solely for the User’s personal use of the Game.
4.2.2. All rights not expressly granted under this license are reserved by Innova.
The license does not grant the User any rights in:
- individual components or elements of Inn.games Application, except as necessary to use Inn.games Application under this license;
- trademarks, logos, trade names and other means of individualization; or
- other software not covered by this license.
4.2.3. The license is indivisible and also covers updates, additions and additional components of Inn.games Application provided by Innova, its partners or contractors, unless their use is governed by a separate agreement. Material changes to Inn.games Application shall be additionally notified to Users.
4.2.4. This license remains valid for as long as this Agreement is in effect with respect to the User and is terminated together with this Agreement in accordance with Section 6 (Termination) below.
4.3. License Restrictions
4.3.1. The User shall not:
- modify Inn.games Application or create derivative works based on it or its elements, including translation or localization;
- remove copyright notices, means of individualization or technical protection tools;
- disable or circumvent technical protection tools of Inn.games Application, Games or their elements;
- copy Inn.games Application except as expressly permitted;
- separate Inn.games Application or its elements into components;
- decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code, or modify the source code or functionality;
- distribute, sell, sublicense, lease, rent, pledge, commercially exploit or otherwise dispose of Inn.games Application except as expressly permitted; or
- use prohibited software to interfere with Inn.games Service.
4.3.2. The User may not assign any rights under this license to third parties. Innova may assign its rights and obligations under this license without the User’s consent.
4.3.3. Innova is not obliged to correct every defect or failure in the Inn.games Application and does not guarantee that every reported issue will be resolved. Users may contact support through the channels specified in Clause 4.9 of the Agreement.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1. All Intellectual Property Rights in Inn.games Service, Inn.games Application and their elements, including text, images, multimedia materials, software code and other copyright works, are owned or controlled by Innova and/or its affiliates.
6. Termination
6.1. Termination by the User
6.1.1. The User may terminate the Agreement (including this Annex) in accordance with Clause 8.7.2 of the Agreement.
6.1.2. Upon termination, the User’s right to access the Game through Inn.games Application ends.
6.2. Termination and Amendment by Innova
6.2.1. Termination of the Agreement by Innova, suspension or restriction of access to the Game, Game Client, Inn.games Application or User Account, and the consequences of termination shall be governed by Section 8.8 of the Agreement.
6.2.2. Innova may amend this Annex in accordance with Clause 8.9 of the Agreement.
6.2.3. Notwithstanding Clause 6.2.1, Innova may suspend the Inn.games Service, or block or restrict access to the Inn.games Application where reasonably necessary, including for investigation of suspected violations, upon a request or order from governmental authorities, in response to claims concerning minors, suspected payment fraud, or to comply with applicable law or security policies.
6.2.4. The consequences of termination or expiry of the Agreement, including the cessation of licenses and any applicable refund limitations, are governed by Clauses 8.8.4 and 8.8.5 of the Agreement. A temporary suspension under Clause 6.2.3 of this Annex does not, by itself, terminate the Agreement or the license granted under this Annex.
6.3. Effect of Termination
6.3.1. Upon expiry, or termination of this Agreement, the User shall promptly uninstall Inn.games Application and its archive copies from the PC.
6.3.2. Termination or suspension of this Agreement, the license under Section 4, or the User Account does not affect the User’s Steam Account.
6.3.3. Termination of these Terms constitutes termination of the Agreement in accordance with Clause 8.11 of the Agreement, and termination of the Agreement terminates these Terms.
7. Guarantees and Liability
7.1. The User acknowledges and consents to Innova’s use of security tools to collect data concerning the User’s approximate geographical location, PC and its components, solely for the purposes specified in the Privacy Policy, including determining whether the User is located within or outside the Territory where access to Games or related services is restricted.
7.2. Inn.games Service and Inn.games Application are provided on an “AS IS” basis. The User uses them at their own risk, including the risks associated with Inn.games Application’s interaction with other software installed on the User’s PC, and acknowledges that their operation may not meet the User’s expectations.
7.3. Innova does not guarantee that Inn.games Service or Inn.games Application:
- will meet the User’s requirements or expectations;
- will be uninterrupted, timely, reliable or error-free; or
- will meet the User’s expectations as to the quality of information, data or content available through Inn.games Service.
Availability of the Game Services is governed by Clause 3.3 of the Agreement.
7.4. To the extent permitted by law and where Innova is not at fault, neither Innova nor its affiliates, Game rights holders, partners or contractors shall be liable for any direct or indirect damage or losses arising from:
- use or inability to use Inn.games Service or Inn.games Application, or information or data available through them, even if the possibility of such damage was notified;
- unauthorized access to the User Account or its data;
- temporary malfunctions or interruptions of Inn.games Service, Inn.games Application, communication lines or Internet connection;
- malfunctions of the User’s PC or software used to access Inn.games Service or Inn.games Application;
- disclosure of confidential or other information through the User’s fault, or interruptions in participation in the Game Process; or
- actions or illegal acts of third parties, including failures in processing Steam transactions or payments made to third parties not authorized by Innova.
The limitation of liability in Clause 6.3 of the Agreement applies to these Terms.
8. Other Provisions
8.1. Applicable law, dispute resolution and jurisdiction are governed by Clause 8.1 of the Agreement.
8.2. Matters relating exclusively to the purchase of the Game through Steam, Steam Wallet, and management of the User’s Steam Account are subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and other applicable Steam policies. Purchases of Fee-based Services through the Inn.games Web-Store and the use of the Game are governed by the main text of the Agreement and Annex No. 1. The Inn.games Application and the registration and use of the User Account are governed by this Annex, subject to Clause 1.7 of the Agreement.
