This Privacy Agreement explains how information is handled when you use Gridiron Manager or contact its developers. For privacy questions or requests, contact developer@plotfun.org. External stores, community services and websites have their own privacy notices for information they collect directly; this document does not replace those notices.

Career saves, manager profiles, game preferences and your agreement version, confirmation time, and choices are stored on your device. Local save contents are not included in Usage Analytics. Anyone with access to your device, backups or shared files may be able to read information stored there; take care when sharing them.

Usage Analytics is optional and helps us understand feature use, career progression, reliability, and where players stop progressing. The Data Terms describe its categories and controls. You can turn it off and still play. Confirming the required agreements does not require you to keep the optional data-sharing box selected.

When Usage Analytics is enabled, the game sends limited technical and usage information to PostHog. This includes game version, build type, operating system and architecture, language, broad page categories, selected career milestones, and time actively spent playing in the foreground. It does not upload a complete history of your save.

Steam launches use your Steam account ID to recognize the same account across sessions and devices. A random installation ID distinguishes installations, and a random session ID groups activity within a session. Without Steam, the installation ID is used instead of a Steam account ID. These identifiers can link activity and must not be treated as completely anonymous data.

The analytics integration does not send manager or player names, team IDs or names, save contents, file paths, typed text, conversations, Steam nicknames, friends lists, inventory or authentication tickets. Screen recording, automatic click capture and PostHog person profiles are disabled. This description applies to Usage Analytics, not to information you choose to email us.

PostHog receives network requests and may estimate country, region, and city from the public IP address. The game does not request GPS or system location access. Estimates may be affected by VPNs, proxies, travel, or network routing. The currently configured cloud intake is in the United States; processing can therefore occur outside your country.

Turning Usage Analytics off in Settings > Game stops further collection and sending and clears the local retry queue, analytics session, and random installation ID. It cannot recall requests already received by PostHog or automatically delete earlier events. Re-enabling creates a new installation ID; a Steam account ID remains associated with the same Steam account.

If you request help or report a rights issue, the material you voluntarily send may include an email address, correspondence, screenshots, logs, or a save. Send only what is needed and remove unrelated personal information. Such material may be used to investigate and answer the request, address the reported problem, protect legal rights or comply with a lawful obligation; sending it does not make it public.

Local information remains until it is removed or replaced through the relevant game, device, or file controls. Removing local data does not remove provider-held analytics, correspondence or backups already received elsewhere. Retention of those records depends on their purpose, the applicable service settings, and legal requirements; ask us about the records relevant to your request rather than assuming that uninstalling deletes them.

Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to receive information about processing, access or correct your information, request its erasure, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Contact developer@plotfun.org with enough information to identify the request. We may need proportionate verification; do not email passwords, Steam authentication codes, or identity documents unless a necessary, secure method has been agreed.

Where an optional activity relies on consent, withdrawal does not by itself undo processing lawfully carried out beforehand. Nothing here waives mandatory privacy rights, authorizes undisclosed categories of collection or permits an unlawful international transfer. A request concerning data held independently by a store or community provider may also need to be directed to that provider.

Development builds additionally use Sentry for technical diagnostics. Those diagnostics are separate from Usage Analytics and are disabled in release builds. A privacy setting for one integration should not be understood as controlling unrelated software installed on your device or a platform's own data collection.

If a player is below the age at which applicable law permits independent agreement or data-sharing consent, the required parent or guardian involvement must be obtained before using the affected feature. Do not submit children's personal information through support or community content unnecessarily. Contact us if you believe information has been provided without the required permission.

Privacy statements must reflect the features and providers actually used. Material changes to these in-game agreements receive a new agreement version and are presented for confirmation; a text update does not silently authorize a new category of optional collection. Changes to collection or providers must be disclosed before they are used where applicable law requires.
