These Terms of Use govern your use of Gridiron Manager together with the license supplied by the store or distributor from which you lawfully obtained your copy. References to us mean the game's developers, reachable at developer@plotfun.org. Mandatory law, applicable third-party licenses and store purchase and refund obligations retain their effect; these terms do not replace them.
Subject to the applicable license and these terms, you may install and use a legitimately obtained copy for its permitted purposes. The game is licensed for use, not sold as a transfer of its intellectual property. Rights not expressly granted remain with their holders. A trial, demo, promotional key or test build grants only the access included in that offer.
You must have the capacity required by applicable law to enter the relevant agreement. Where parent or guardian approval is required, obtain it before continuing. Protect access to your device and distribution platform account, follow applicable age ratings and use only copies, accounts and access credentials that you are entitled to use.
The game's protected code, interface, writing, artwork, audio, video, and other assets remain the property of their respective owners. Except where permitted by law or an applicable license, you must not copy, extract, sell, sublicense, or redistribute those assets, remove rights notices, bypass lawful access controls or reverse engineer protected software. Statutory exceptions and rights under open-source licenses are not restricted by this paragraph.
Names, trademarks, logos, likenesses, and other identifiers belonging to leagues, schools, teams, businesses, athletes or other people remain subject to their own rights. Reference to them does not itself establish endorsement or affiliation. These terms grant no right to use our identity or another party's identity for an unofficial product, advertisement or sponsorship claim.
Gameplay-generated events, ratings, health conditions, disciplinary outcomes, finances, contracts, dialogue and news are fictional entertainment. Historical information and simulation rules can contain omissions or simplifications. Do not rely on game output as an official record, a statement about a real person's conduct, professional advice or a basis for gambling or financial decisions.
You retain any rights you hold in original material you create. Before importing or sharing a mod, database, image, recording, or other content, obtain the rights needed for that use, including applicable copyright, trademark, likeness and privacy permissions. Preserve required notices. You cannot grant rights belonging to others, and accepting a file format does not mean we have reviewed or approved its content.
Do not use game-related services or community features to distribute malware, obtain unauthorized access, impersonate others, commit fraud, threaten or harass people, publish unlawful content, or disclose another person's private information without a lawful basis. Security or rights concerns may be reported to developer@plotfun.org; do not exploit a vulnerability or disclose other users' information while making a report.
Material you voluntarily send for support or a rights report may be copied and examined as reasonably needed to investigate and respond. This does not transfer your ownership or grant us a general right to publish your private saves. If you voluntarily submit nonconfidential product suggestions, you permit us to use them to improve the game without an obligation to implement them or provide compensation, but only to the extent of rights you can lawfully grant.
Third-party mods, tools, links, stores and communities are operated by their own providers. We do not guarantee their safety, availability, accuracy, or compatibility. Their own terms may apply. This allocation does not remove any responsibility we have under mandatory law for a service we supply or for our own conduct.
Keep backups of careers and custom content you want to preserve. Updates, interrupted writes, storage failures, manual edits, mod conflicts, and changes in file formats can affect save compatibility or recovery. We do not promise that every damaged or modified save can be restored. Support may require a reproducible example using an unmodified, supported version.
Compatibility and performance depend on the supported platform, hardware, drivers, storage, and third-party services. Features may be corrected or changed for maintenance, security, compatibility, or legal reasons. Experimental features and informal development plans are not a guarantee of future content. Express product descriptions, purchase commitments and legally required updates remain binding where applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to express commitments and mandatory guarantees, the game is supplied as available without additional promises of uninterrupted or error-free operation, suitability for every particular purpose, compatibility with every modification, or any specific simulation outcome. This paragraph does not disclaim a statutory guarantee that cannot be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of business opportunities or anticipated profits, and other loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant agreement was made. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by an unauthorized modification, your unlawful use or an independent third party beyond our responsibility. Ordinary remedies for our own breach remain available where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability to the extent it cannot legally be excluded or limited. Mandatory rights concerning defective digital content, refunds, privacy, consumer remedies and access to courts or regulators remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for substantiated losses and reasonable costs directly caused by your unlawful distribution of content or other culpable breach of these terms. This is not an unlimited obligation to cover all third-party claims, and does not make you responsible for our own fault. Any claim remains subject to proof, causation, available defenses, and applicable consumer protections.
Purchases, payments, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the offer you accepted, the relevant store's rules and mandatory law. Simulated currency, rewards, salaries, contracts, and achievements have no cash redemption value and create no real-world employment or property entitlement. Owning the game does not automatically entitle you to separately offered content.
If you materially breach the applicable license, measures affecting your license or access may be taken only as that license and the law permit. Where appropriate, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided; urgent security or legal obligations may require earlier action. A disputed mod may be removed from a service we control without asserting that a report alone proves infringement.
For DMCA or other copyright reports, contact developer@plotfun.org. Identify the work and disputed material, provide enough information to locate it, your contact details, and your signature, and the good-faith, accuracy, and authority statements required by applicable law. Applicable counter-notice and challenge procedures remain available. Deliberately misleading reports may have legal consequences.
Material changes to these agreements receive a new version and are presented for confirmation. They do not retroactively erase an accrued claim or automatically change a store transaction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent the law permits. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a general waiver.
