1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or playing the WYLDHEART demo (“the Game”), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (“Agreement”). If you do not agree to the terms, do not use the Game.

By accepting this Agreement, you also acknowledge that Wayfinder Studios AB’s Privacy Policy, available at https://curvegames.com/wyldheart-privacy-policy , explains how information collected in connection with the Game is used and protected. Please read the Privacy Policy before playing the Game.

2. License Grant

Wayfinder Studios AB grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial use. You may not distribute, lease, sublicense, or otherwise make the Game available to third parties.

3. Ownership

The Game and all related intellectual property, including but not limited to artwork, code, music, and characters, are owned by Wayfinder Studios AB or its licensors. You receive no ownership rights under this Agreement.

4. Restrictions

Except where permitted by applicable law, you agree not to:

Reverse engineer or decompile the Game;

Use cheats, bots, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software;

Harass, abuse, or otherwise disrupt the experience of other players;

Attempt to circumvent any security or moderation systems.

5. Online Services

The Game may require an internet connection and may include multiplayer features. Wayfinder Studios AB is not responsible for connection issues or data charges, except where required by applicable law. Online features may be modified or discontinued, subject to applicable law.

Game progress is stored online. If the Game permits you to continue playing without a connection to its servers, progress made while disconnected will not be saved.

6. User-Generated Content

If the Game allows you to create or upload content, you grant Wayfinder Studios AB a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, distribute, and display that content for purposes connected with operating and promoting the Game. You retain ownership of your content and are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to share it.

7. Automatic Data Collection

The Game may automatically collect certain information from your device and gameplay session to operate, maintain, and improve the Game. This information may include gameplay telemetry, internal player and session identifiers, device specifications, game configuration settings, error logs, crash reports, and other diagnostic or technical data.

Wayfinder Studios AB is the controller of personal data collected in connection with the Game. Information is handled in accordance with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy, available at https://curvegames.com/wyldheart-privacy-policy which explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who may access it, how long we retain it, and your rights.

Accepting this Agreement does not itself constitute consent to any processing that requires consent under applicable law. Where such consent is required, it will be requested separately.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Wayfinder Studios AB may terminate this license if you violate any terms, subject to applicable law. Upon termination, you must stop using the Game and delete all copies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Game is a demo and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or other limitations.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Game is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Wayfinder Studios AB disclaims all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wayfinder Studios AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Updates and Modifications

Wayfinder Studios AB may release updates or patches for the Game. The terms of this Agreement apply to all such updates.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also retain the protection of any mandatory laws applicable in your country of residence.

Subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring proceedings in another court, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Umeå, Sweden.
