A Steam account may be established without purchase. One entry per user per Day (defined below) and one win per user. Multiple entries from a single user over multiple Steam accounts will be disqualified. Employees of Sponsor (including directors and officers) and their immediate families or affiliates are not eligible.Entry: Each Day during the Sweepstakes Period, any eligible Steam user will automatically be granted an entry into the Sweepstakes if his or her Steam account (a) owns one of the Steam Catalog of Rockstar Games <link> that is on sale on Steam that day and (b) is a member of the Rockstar Games Official Group. The Sweepstakes Period begins at 10:00:00 AM Pacific Daylight Savings Time on April 15, 2011, and ends at 9:59:59 AM PDT on April 17, 2011. A “Day” is defined as a twenty-four (24) hour period starting at 10:00:00 AM Pacific Daylight Savings Time on a given date, and ending at 9:59:59 AM PDT the next date.Alternate Entry: To manually enter the Sweepstakes, each eligible entrant must print his or her name, address, city, state, country, postal code, email address, Steam account name, and telephone number, as well as words “Rockstar Games Catalog Giveaway Sweepstakes,” on a self-addressed 4”x6” note card and mail the completed form during the Sweepstakes Period to: Valve Corporation, P.O. Box 1688, Bellevue, WA 98009-1688 Attn: Rockstar Games Catalog Giveaway Sweepstakes. Note cards may be mailed as postcards or in envelopes. No e-mailed or faxed alternate entries are eligible. Facsimiles, photocopies or mechanical reproductions of entries will be void. An alternate entry must be postmarked during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible. Each alternate entry will be applied to the Day that started on the same date as the postmark. Alternate entries received after April 22, 2011 will not be eligible for any Sweepstakes. Each user may submit one alternative entry per day. Proof of sending or submitting an alternate entry is not proof of receipt of such alternate entry. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means will be void. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late, illegible, undelivered, inaccurate or delayed entries, or for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors or problems that may limit or affect a person’s ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. In the event of sabotage, acts of God, terrorism or threats thereof, computer virus or other events or causes beyond the Sponsor’s control, which corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such cancellation. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible.Winners: Sponsor will select three (3) winners by random drawing per Day, from that Day’s eligible entries.No later than April 28, 2011, Sponsor will hold a random drawing for alternative entries received for each Day of the Sweepstakes Period, using the same odds as applied for each actual regular drawing (determined by the number of regular entries for each Day of the Sweepstakes Period objective). Sponsor will award prizes to each such alternative entry winner. Sponsor will contact each winner via email to the address registered to the winning account. Steam pricing during the Sweepstakes Period will determine game value. Prizes are not assignable or transferable. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winners are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to the prizes.Release: By entering into this sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, taxes, expenses or damages of any kind, either at law or in equity, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with this sweepstakes, including the possession, use or inability to use any prize.
