One of the first and still the best colony management games, with depth and humor has retaken the throne with Tropico 6. Multiplayer and many other wished-for things are here. Highly recommended.

iso - turn based tactical shooter. Compare to jagged alliance but more RPG. Gritty and enjoyable. The sort of dystopia that only russians can really spin.

ARPG, party. Great story, buggy mess. This is a hard game to recommend due to how buggy it is but also how excellent it is. Grim, depressing and soviet. You will taste the despair and hopelessness

2D top down shipbuilding space builder/shooter. Compare to Zero Falls. There are plentiful competitors in this game niche and many are well ahead. Lack of multi leaves us wondering why bother?

Very enjoyable open build open world space shooter. Somewhat unique. Lots of opportunity for horizontal emergent play arising out of component ship design. Cheap and fun, recommended.

Isometric Tactical Colony Builder. The gold standard for production chains in colony builders. Highly recommended to play especially for people developing other colony builders. Learn from it.

Squad level tactical colony builder. Similar to Dawn of Man leaning more towards Rimworld. Single dev indie game, good emergent gameplay. Recommended if you like Kenshi, Rimworld, or Dawn of Man.

Well done top down squad shooter. Good char, gear and meta progression. Decent challenge curve. Low impact graphics that don't get in the way. Highly recommended.

Excellent if not a little light weight game that reminds me much of Wing Commander: Privateer, one of my all time favorites. Highly recommended if you like arcady space shooters.
