Banished is hard. Painfully hard. Your village can be wiped out by a tornado, starve, freeze or be crushed to death by boulders. Yet, despite its difficulty, I found the game to be addicting and fun.

The pinnacle of the Grand Strategy genre. This game has a steep learning curve. Also, unfortunately falls victim to Paradox's ridiculous DLC policy where half the game is locked behind a $1000 paywall

I've been playing this fun little game since it first released. Watching this game grow and evolve as the enthusiastic dev responds to the community is amazing. Absolute indie gem, support indie devs!

A memorable plot and a great RTS experience. Playing this on the Xbox 360 back in the day was an amazing experience, knowing that an RTS could be played seamlessly on a controller.

The MOBA that defined the genre. Move out the way League of Legends because the true king of the genre is Dota 2. A thriving competitive multiplayer scene, although riddled with toxic behaviour.

This game has aged exceptionally well. Multiwinia is a hidden gem, with simple controls but incredibly intense and satisfying gameplay. Nuke your enemies, drop napalm and dominate the map.

Age of Empires IV is possibly the most awaited game in the RTS genre. It deviates from the direction AOE took in AOE 3 and attempts to return to the tried and true formula of AOE 2, with much success!

A must-have for any RTS fan; AOE 2 is the installment that many of us remember so fondly, now with updated graphics and more refined feel. A simple premise but with layers of depth. WOLOO spam awaits!

More of the same. Not at all a terrible game but extremely similar to the previous installment of the Democracy games. Seems like a low effort cash grab and for that reason I cannot recommend this.

A much appreciated overhaul to the much loved original, incredible value as all original DLC is included in addition to 2 all new civilizations. Look forward to playing this game more in full 4k glory
