Medved-Taiga National Park

Inspired by the harsh, frozen landscape of Siberia, you’ll traverse the unforgiving tundra, enter into the drunken forests and venture out on the frozen bay. The majestic Moose travels these plains, as does the fierce Brown Bear. Perhaps the most unique of all - hunters in this reserve will face the highly intelligent and ghost-like Lynx.

Parque Fernando

Roam through the gnarled snags of the dead forest, wander the steppes and lupine meadows in search of game, or make your way to the tranquil lakes that pepper the park, as you help turn otherwise wild slice of Patagonia into world class hunting grounds. Keep an eye out for a stalking or hunting Puma, or spot a vibrant Cinnamon Teal taking flight as you make your way across the reserve. Not to mention the fact that the park nourishes some the biggest, most exquisite bucks you’ll ever hunt, like the Mule Deer, Red Deer and Axis Deer. Build the new lodge for Parque Fernando, and decorate it with your collection of diamond trophies, one from each species of the reserve. Only time will tell if you can turn the reserve into a hunter’s paradise.

Vurhonga Savanna

Cross the scrublands, discover the riverlands and venture out into the lush savanna as you assume the role of a Warden and protect the lands from poachers and other potential misfortunes. Watch the Blue Wildebeest herds passing, catch a Springbok pronking, Warthogs grazing by the waterholes and keep a close look out for the respected and feared black death, the Cape Buffalo. Not to forget, the apex predator the Lion. Opportunities like this are few and far between, so pack your suitcase - Africa is calling!

Yukon Valley

Referred to by some as “The Last Frontier” and “The Land of the Midnight Sun”, it’s hard to deny that Alaska is a place of untamed natural beauty. The dazzlingly coloured biomes of Yukon Valley are teeming with equally vibrant wildlife. Catch the Plains Bisons, Caribou and Moose grazing in the soft light of the dawn. Silently stalk Red Foxes and Harlequin Ducks, before they are startled and take flight. Stay out of sight as you track a roaming Grizzly Bear, always wary that it might charge you if it feels threatened. Not to forget the wolves packs, they are fast, smart and they are not afraid to fend for themselves if threatened by a hunter.

Missions and Narrative

Each reserve comes with its own warden and narrative. You could become an expert survivalist and hunter contracted to assist Alena Khasavovna and her scientific expedition. Assist your Grandfather, Njabulo Tshabangu, the Senior Warden of Vurhonga Savanna to ensure the safety and stability of this protected area. Help Carolina turn Parque Fernado into a world class hunting reserve or join Jim Murray in his mission to maintain Yukon’s Valley’s delicate ecosystem.
All in all you will get an additional 74 narrative missions as well as 163 missions spread out across the 4 reserves.

As part of the reserves DLC you will also get two weapons. For in-game currency, you will be able to get your hands on the KING 470DB. Used almost exclusively in single shot or double rifles, the 470 Nitro Express is currently the largest caliber available in theHunter: Call of the Wild.
As part of Yukon valley you will receive the .300 Canning Magnum. This rifle was Developed by Alaskan gunsmiths for moose hunting and is favored by marksmen and hunters alike for its accuracy.
Additionally, by completing missions in Parque Fernando you will get the Championship skin for the Rangemaster .338 and by progressing through the Medved Taiga narrative you will get the Grankins shotgun skin.

Share your Experience

As with our previous paid DLCs, if a player doesn’t own the content they can still join a session in the four reserves, simply by finding players that own them and joining them. It’s up to you if you decide to compete or cooperate.
