Phenomenal Soundtrack: The music is hauntingly beautiful. The classical Spanish guitars and melancholic tones perfectly capture the dark atmosphere and will stay stuck in your head long after you close the game.
The Second Run Effect: The second playthrough (NG+) feels significantly better. Once you know where to go, you can skip the early-game hesitation, jump straight into the action, and fully enjoy the combat.

Slow & Empty Start: The game starts strong but quickly becomes repetitive in the early hours. Bosses are scarce, and while they look amazing visually, the actual fights feel generic and underwhelming until you hit the turning point.
The Castle Shift: The game only gets truly exciting and action-packed after you reach the Castle area. Before that, the pacing can feel like a chore.
Tedious Backtracking: While exploring secret rooms is a cool concept, the execution severely disrespects the player's time. Forcing you to backtrack through the exact same zones dozens of times just because you lacked a specific riddle-like ability is highly frustrating.
Delayed Fast Travel: Unlocking efficient teleportation happens way too late in the game, making early-game navigation feel unnecessarily exhausting.
Useless Loot: The game bombards you with tons of relics and items, but about 50% of them have zero practical use. You will end up beating the entire game using only a tiny fraction of what you spent hours collecting.

It really changed something in me and in my soul. This game teaches you, that no matter all the pain and suffering, you should keep moving on. Plot is something truly marvelous and captures the real world religious fanatism really well, and how some people that are in government or "higher ranks of this earth" so to speak use the religion to control humanity.. The game just lets you suffer alongside the penitent one, but it is absolutely worth the toil. There are thousand of games out there existing, but none of them would match this perfection of a souls-like Metroidvania experience. bosses are one of a kind. Isidora is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great boss, even though I spent 4 days fighting her. Beating her was as satisfying as any other souls game out there. I don't regret a single second that I spent on this game.

Я считал ее на уровне неиграбельной, так как соответственно разрыв между прохождениями около года, и после второй части, блеклые воспоминания о первой остались только негативные.
В итоге, всё сложилось в разы лучше и приятнее, про игру я почти ничего не помнил, только совсем ключевые моменты, хотя одного из трех обязательных боссов первой главы я будто бы видел впервые. И, первое что бросилось в глаза - анимации, рисовка. Да, они были явно сырее и хуже чем во второй части, но это справедливо было опустить, так как это всё же первая игра, и кроме того, над второй были проведены колоссальные работы. Принять это было совсем не трудно.
Немного даже стыдно перед собой, игра сама по себе представляет метроидванию, но с очень интересными в моментах проходами. Уникальные артефакты позволяют попадать в недоступные места, узнавать что-то новое, а также получать новые улучшения. И стоит учесть - они необязательны для прохождения игры даже на самую первую концовку. Это именно то, что я точно упустил проходя игру в первый раз. Видимо всё было в том, что я просто не разобрался, и заряженный после Hollow Knight побежал искать другие метрухи, наткнувшись на нашего гостя программы. Как никак - эти артефакты действительно КРАЙНЕ сильно разбавляют обычный геймплей.
Так же как и в второй части, саундтрек, локации, названия - это сок, прям мега вкуснятина погружающая в эстетику игры. Это именно то что я обожаю в этих двух играх. Дизайны боссов, мобов не оставляют в стороне, всё на уровне.
Теперь, перейдем к самой вкусной части ревью. Да, это всё топово, эстетика, атмосфера, геймплей. Но тут явно проблемы с гейм дизайном в корне. Перво наперво, какой ♥♥♥♥ ваншот от ловушек с шипами на полу или безднами. Какому черту в голову попадет сделать квест лайн жестким, который ВАЖНО проходить параллельно тому, как ты убиваешь боссов локаций. Не принёс шмотку, но убил босса - ВСЁ, НЕТУ КВЕСТА, ОН ПРОСТО ПРОЩАЕТСЯ. Это прям конкретный минус вайб. Я ещё не начал рассказывать требования на истинную концовку, где без гайдов и наводок, не то что пройти, догадаться просто нереально. Либо нужно быть кон#енным фанатиком и читать каждую букву на столбе на заднем фоне. В этом плане меня радует что вторая часть сделала всё более очевидным и менее душным, так как в первой части мне стало душно только от всех условий, хотя я даже не начал выполнять что либо.
Ну и вишенка на торте, это меня вообще у#бало. Ну типо в игре есть 44 кости, разбросанные по всей карте. Ну типо их все можно получить только при 100% прохождении сейва(не игры и не истинная концовка). Ну типо в награду дают, эээ.. слезы искупления - валюта местная. ВСЁ. И че это н#♥♥♥. Ну в условном полом рыцаре за всех гусениц, которых меньше, но карта больше, давали амулет меняющий геймплей во плоти(И спасибо ещё продумано что есть специальная карта с этими гусеницами, так как кости мне пришлось собирать по интерактивной карте какого то фаната в EXCEL ТАБЛИЦЕ, НЕ НУ ТЫ ПОДУМАЙ. ИН-ТЕ-РАК-ТИВ-НАЯ КАР-ТА В ТАБ-ЛИ-ЦЕ EXCEL. # P.S. Я чекнул там ещё другие карты были))) ).
Ладно кости, п#♥♥♥. Но когда ты рвешь жопу ради какого то паркура или ищешь не пойми что, что бы попасть куда то, и в итоге там лежит какая-то кость или ещё лучше сюжетная шмотка для истинной концовки или нпс, и в итоге через 5 часов понимаешь что она тебе н#♥♥♥ не нужна)) так как ты случайно сделал сальто пока хавал чизбургер на мосту в середине игры, и теперь ты ничего не можешь сделать. Забавненько.
Эти моменты действительно смогли испортить мое отличное мнение под конец игры, где я 95% игры бегал счастливый, а потом краски начали рушится, так как ничего стоящего разрабы дать не смогли, или вообще узнать о том, что ты что-то НЕ можешь получить из-за того что убежал вперед не намного, или прошёл локации не в том порядке. Бред. НО, я убедился в том, что вторая часть игры действительно избавилась от тупых ошибок, оставив интересную задумку и сохранив всю эстетику.
В любом случае, я остался больше доволен, чем нет. Есть и положительные моменты осознания каких то игровых частей, но и без плохих не обошлось. Если вторая часть прошла на легке и 40 часов игры пролетели, то здесь, прям моменты которые душили, или растянуты, из-за чего условные 20 часов на прохождение игры 1 раз - превращаются в 50 по ощущению. И еще более душно стало после “100%”, где меня уже взбесили некоторые моменты, чтобы потом узнать про концовку, квесты, и некоторые нюансы, а также то, что в New Game + - процент прохождения 150%, И там много секретных боссов с не менее классной музыкой и реализацией. Пожалуй нет, я останусь при своём, игра хорошая, но её п#здатая вторая часть с длс - лучше, и не сыграв в первую часть, но пройдя вторую, вы не потеряете многое.

The art is super good but the movement is annoying, and having a multiple periodic platforming hazards in every single room is exhausting to repeatedly move through. I try going through a room that would have taken ~15 seconds to traverse, but fireballs/lava/falling platforms/wind/etc turns it into 60 seconds of awkward stop-and-start that feels clunky and boring. \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tthis game is promising in the beginning then you get to the later areas and it just sucks. every game will have annoying enemies but in late game blasphemous its every enemy. and the platforming is some of the clunkiest I've ever played. and don't get me started on the bosses...almost every boss has had a move that if you miss your dodge or parry you get hit 4 times or more. overall the difficulty and enemy design are so poorly done and the movement is just straight trash. I'm all for difficult games (silksong is one of my favorite games ever) but this isn't hard cause its hard its hard cause its poorly designed. i hope the sequel is better.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\ti have very mixed feelings with this game the artstyle and lore are immaculate with a pretty interesting albeit basic main character wish he got fleshed out a little more maybe he does in the sequel this is the only metroidvania and soulslike ive played and i think for the genre they are really good but i personally think i hate these genres so puuting them together does not help i just got tired of it the backtracking was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ had to look a tutorial atleast 5 times and the combat was frustrating due to how the saves were implemented but i did enjoy my time with the game the bosses really were fun but i didnt beat the final boss i did not want to play anymore but i am definetily the wrong demographic and i still had a good time and i payed 3$ for it so definitely not mad im goona play the sequel and maybe nine sols because i did have a good time with the story bosses and art but it just had a lot of frustrating parts overall if you really like metroidvanias and souls-likes play it it is incredibly high qaulity for me a 6/10\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
